I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. While we're at the kiosk when people would come in she would say, "Welcome." But not in a friendly way or ready to help. An older lady came in, went to the counter, said hello and tried to make small talk with the associate. The associate didn't greet her or go along with the small talk. No smile, nothing. I felt bad for the lady. Then other people start coming in and all of a sudden her attitude changes. She starts greeting them by name, asking how they're doing and being all nice. The other associate in the back also comes to the counter and starts small talk with one of those customers. I was like, wow. So now you know, if you come in here, just get straight to business, don't expect friendliness and good customer service....unless you are a regular & they know you. Unfortunately, this one is about 4 min from where I live, but won't be coming here anymore. Don't want to go somewhere where I feel like I'm bothering them and feel rushed. But the guy helping them seemed very patient with them. The other guy was helping out the line. We did wait about 10 min but once it was our turn it was quick and easy to return our packets. Make sure you have your codes ready to speed up the process. There's a do it yourself kiosk for amazon returns, but I feel like it's time consuming especially for large packets. For example the lady who was in line behind me decided to use it, but something was wrong with the receipt, it wasn't printing. They fixed it for her, but something else happened. The rewards system was a learning process. First, you need a Staples account. Recommend downloading the app. Each ink cartridge you recycle gains you 500 pts. That rate's allowed for up to 6 cartridges per month. After that, it's 100 pts per cartridge in the same month. (So I should've saved my 7th cartridge onwards for next month). Staples website/app doesn't clearly tell you that 200 pts = $1. (That means each cartridge gave me $2.50) (And my 3200 pts translated to $16. And 9 cartridges gets $16.50.) - Staples should just do 100 pts = $1 for simplicity. And clearly declare the exchange rate on their website & app. + The associate was right, the points became usable within 10min. Yippee! . Staples' webpage on their rewards seems outdated.
