On your weekly shop be sure to pop in for different flavor turkey burgers and turkey sausages. I also love the frozen sweet spuds (so quick and easy). They introduced a new fitness food recently which I am dying to try called "Meatzza" - a high protein turkey burger with pizza topping on it, fake pizza... love it! This branch is really spacious and everything is easy to find. They offer the superscan option, where you scan your own products as you shop and then just bring the receipt to the counter and pay. And they have recently introduced self scan check outs. The shop is usually pretty packed and queues are really long, but this can be avoided by using the self scan check outs. If you have the money to spare, or want to get some quality food and do not mind spending that bit extra, at least check out the bakery section

Dunnes already stock the Follain range of jams and relishes. Their marmalade is one of my favourites; another is that made by Bramley Lodge in Carrigtwohill. Just this weekend, in Dunnes in Ballyvolane, I picked up one of the very best strawberry jams I have ever come across. Based in Drogheda, they make jams (including marmalades), relishes, dressings, salsas and cooking sauces. It has two entrances with one facing out towards the sea, they make good use of this with the coffee and cake shop location. It has outdoor seating which will be enjoyable in the summer months. The hot food, cheese, salad, wine collection and cakes all look delicious. I'm finding it hard to not drop in on route home from work. Take a look inside, you'll want everything.
