We had a tiny level area with a narrow, dated walkway of aggregate concrete. The vegetation was mostly dead ground cover on a steep slope...not useful in any way. The process was great, since I had a limited budget, I was very keen to get the biggest bang while managing my funds, Adam was very helpful with this in explaining the impacts of different choices and trade-offs. I purchased a stand alone water feature to save money and it was worked into the plantings with a lovely result. We had stone retaining walls installed, including a large stone bench, and a paver patio in decomp granite. Now, the entry looks inviting, lush and we have plenty of room to enjoy the shade of the oaks and arriving guests. Our experience with this construction company was extremely disappointing. The project took far…read morelonger that it should have, and multiple callbacks were necessary to get the work completed properly. We expected professional workmanship, reasonable timeliness, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Most unacceptable was the destruction of our Japanese Maple, valued at approximately $6,000. They not only broke branches, but also cut off/trimmed multiple branches without our knowledge. This was a substancial loss to our property and something that should never have happened with proper care and consideration. The delays, repeated follow-ups, and damage to our landscaping fell well short of the professionalism and accountability we expected. A homeowner should not have to repeatedly chase a contractor to finish a job or suffer the loss of a valuable tree in the process. We would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to ask detailed questions about project timeliness, quality control, and how property damage is handled before signing a contract. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company without serious reservations.

Which resulted in three doorways being breached and door jams, lockets, door moulding, etc.. being destroyed. Thankfully my mom is recovering but I found myself in dire need of a trustworthy contractor to repair the damage and to have the work completed ASAP. I can't remember if Lucas answered the phone or if he called me right back but it was quick and easy to get a hold of him either way. We made an appointment to meet the next day. Lucas was perfectly communicative and arrived on time. He was patient as my mom's neighbors engaged me and added significant time to his visit. What I appreciated most from Lucas is that he offered multiple options for each area of work to be done. Aesthetically and as far as cost. As time was a factor, having Lucas respond the following day with a very reasonable bid, based on the options we discussed and with the added benefit of him being ready to get the work completed in a short amount of time really meant a lot. As did his communication with following up to see if we had any questions or concerns. Ultimately my mom chose a different option but that decision does not reflect on Lucas or Alpha at all. In fact she asked me to keep Lucas's information for her so she can contact him for future projects.
