I got approved for the furniture set, took no time at all, and he was able to deliver the set same day within 3 hours (since the dining set was already at the store). I bought a bed from here 15 years ago and I can honestly say the customer service has not changed at all and that's a positive thing!

We ordered the one recliner and we were told it would be in on Tuesday. ( We bought everything on Saturday) And yes today is Tuesday and they were in as promised. Matt was our salesperson and he was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. As soon as we walked in he greeted us and explained where everything was located. We said we wanted to look around and he respected that and let us browse the store. When we had questions, he was available. I appreciated the fact that he was patient with my mom, who is a older and likes to chat a lot! Customer service is very important and if we hadn't received that upon arriving we probably would have turned around and left. There were other salespeople walking around and I did notice they weren't as friendly. I don't understand that when a customer is in a store and a staff member walks by and can't even say hello. They just walk by looking straight ahead so not to make eye contact....strange. So again, Thanks Matt for making our shopping trip fast and easy.

Actually that's what happened, we had time to kill while waiting and we did need a new mattress and Weatherby's is known in Bakersfield and has a great reputation so we thought why not go look, and the marquee out front did say mattress sale too!! This store was next door to the dealership. So we wondered in and started laying around on mattresses or I did, husband isn't so much of a mattress test drive kind of guy. The a salesman finally made his way over and asked us if we needed help? Maybe the fact we weren't in a car was a little off putting idk?? So we explained that it was time that we were in the market for a new mattress but we lived in Bakersfield which is 50 miles away. Oh no problem our Bakersfield store can deliver it!! I was followed around by this salesperson and he kept asking me "what specifically are you looking for? I can't help you if you don't know." I reminded the salesperson that I was just browsing but still got some pretty aggressive and condescending service. I ended up walking out. If this place of business can not let people see the furniture for themselves and ask questions when needed, they are doing something wrong. I will not be returning.
