This place asks for good reviews so don't trust them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shop because they don't do professional work and will mess something up on your vehicle. I had to come back more than 4 times to get my trunk and rear bumper fixed after being rear ended. There were several issues with the paint and dents that took several visits to resolve. In total my car has been in their shop for 3-4 WEEKS to fix the rear bumper and trunk. I received my vehicle with loose seals (multiple times) , negative terminal disconnected which gave me a warning, and a dirty mess in my car. The last time I picked my car up it smelled super bad like water sitting in the carpet. I checked my rear seats and they were SOAKED. I have an amp rack in the back and the bolts were left rusted meaning water had been sitting like that for a while. Very unprofessional and the manager Rafa did nothing to help and would not replace my damaged property even though it was caused by his staff. They will not communicate when your vehicle is ready and instead you have to call. I still don't understand the need for the back to be soaked even if it was for cleaning. Very unprofessional and incompetent staff at Caliber Collision Watsonville. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Still dealing with the stuff they messed up on my car. Avoid this shop if you can the manager Rafa absolutely sucks at his job. Easiest job too. read more

I called about 15 minutes before I came in to get my splash engine shield fixed and they were able to look at my vehicle and fix it within 45 minutes. Everyone at the business was very nice and were able to help me out. They were able to fix my car with the parts that were there and didn't charge a service fee. Bad communication. Office called to tell me my car was ready to pick up. I couldn't make that day but told them I'd pick up the next day. When I arrived they said my car was not ready and they were still waiting for a part. They claimed they texted me the night before but I never received a text. I was rear ended Saturday (2-18-23) & it totaled the Honda that hit me & probably my Subaru SUV. I called to get an estimate, but Caliber was 1 month out to just do an estimate & repairs starting if SUV isn't totaled, could be another month. Apparently with Covid there are shortages of parts being manufactured; causing long wait times for ordered parts. I really appreciated the honesty from Caliber Collision so I could obtain an estimate from another shop that could take my SUV sooner & I did. read more

Caliber Collision's slogan is "Restoring the rhythm of your life." Let's talk about how Caliber threw off that rhythm for two weeks. First off, I'll say Caliber did a good job with the repairs, and staff were as courteous as they could be. That's what's keeping me from giving them one star. The issues were primarily with logistics and communication. Two months ago, I took my car in for a bumper replacement and was told it would take three days. It ended up taking two weeks. I was told the issue was that they were waiting on parts from the manufacturer, and while I understand my car's company has had supply chain issues, why weren't these parts ordered during the month between when I scheduled the appointment and when I brought the car in? Why couldn't they have delayed taking the car in until they had the parts? I was able to hold my bumper up with Gorilla tape, so this was not an emergency. Since my insurance didn't cover rentals, I had to stay home most of the time and Uber whenever I needed to go out, which got pretty expensive over time. Also, communication was not great. I'd get text messages with vague updates about how my car's work was scheduled to be done by a certain date or it was nearing completion, nothing on what work was being done or needed to be done. I had to call over there to get that information, and it was always a 50/50 chance someone would pick up. The completion date was also pushed back multiple times. Also, a minor thing, but this shop needs a more clear designation of where customer parking is. Every time, I was told to park in front of the garage door, but I always felt like I was blocking someone from getting out. My suggestions: Provide more detailed progress updates each day, and only bring cars in to be worked on when you have everything you need. read more

The team at Caliber took over all the necessary arrangements with insurance. My father worked with associate named Ted who delivered his car as good as new! I was backing out of a parking spot on a hill and scraped the spoiler trim off my right front side of my Mercedes Cabriolet. I brought it into the shop and the manager looked at it. He called over his tech and fit the piece back into place. I tried to pay but the manager wouldn't accept it. I offered to put it into a beer fund and he refused that. Great shop with honest people. I backed into a poll and had to replace the rear door on my jeep. Gil was very easy to work with. I was able to wait inside where it was clean and warm while the door was being replaced. The young lady inside brought me coffee, the coffee was really good and so was she! We chatted and the two hours just flew by! I actually enjoyed my wait by having such great company! To top it off, the guys did a wonderful job painting ,installing my door and washed and sanitized my jeep! That was such a nice surprise to have my jeep clean. I took my car to Caliber Collision after I was rear ended. Prior to dropping off my car to undergo repair, I stopped at Caliber to let them know that I wanted to bring my car to them. Gil helped me right away and actually started the process by taking photos that day. After my claim was approved a few days later, I returned to Caliber to drop off my car. Gil explained the work to be done, the next steps in the claim process and then called Enterprise Car Rental to pick me up (without me asking him to do so). Caliber stayed in touch with me throughout the repair process, communicating any unforeseen issues (that can actually be expected in rear end collisions). They also extended my car rental as necessary which saved me time. The repairs were complete after eight business days. I received a call at 4:30 that my car was ready. Gil gave me the option of picking up same day or waiting until the following day. I called to verify closing time and arrived just before 5pm. When I walked in, it did not feel like they were minutes from closing. I walked out at about 5:10 to my car looking like new. You could never tell I was rear ended. My car had been washed and detailed. There was a minor issue with getting the trunk to close because of the new part in place. One of employees heard the issue, came to take a look then grabbed another employee to help out...again it's past 5pm. They did some minor adjusting, open and closed the trunk a few times and had me test it out. I was satisfied with the outcome, thanked them for staying a little late to help me, then I was on my way. I'm very happy with the level of service that Caliber Collision provides and I highly recommend them. I would give more than 5 stars, if I could. read more

Outstanding customer care I cannot say one negative review. My husband was rear ended at a red light. And we were given other options for the repairs and we were not impressed with any of them. Then went to Caliber Collision and were very impressed with how they explained what needed to be done and how they would take care of everything. We didn't have to worry about dealing with the Insurance Co that they would keep them updated if there was any delays on getting the parts in. Not to mention that they would update the car rental company. I highly recommend them that's looking for a excellent company to do business with. read more

Service was good but Caliber did not repair my front left quarter panel with the matching stock paint, which is Black and has a metallic in it, so Caliber said they painted the whole quarter panel for me instead of just at the repair, because they were hiding the fact that they didn't use the stock paint. My brand new car was struck a few weeks ago. The left fender, door and rear were mangled but Chris did a great job getting it repaired quickly and accurately. I got hit on the drivers side and they had to basically do most of that side during June 2019. When i went to pick up my car I noticed that a light came up and it was about some sensor not working property. I went back to the shop and they told me that the crash had nothing to do with it. Then I took my car to the dealership and they found out that the sensor was malfunctioning because of the crash and they fixed. I had to spend a lot of my time on getting the sensor fix just because they did not do in the shop. Also, the rear bumper that they installed seems a little loose and it looks like i will have to go back to the shop either way. I am not looking forward to this. read more
