This place is very very dishonest. I discourage everyone to avoid it unless you want to have an incredibly bad experience like I just had today. I am taking this place to court and filing a better business report. Btw, they have a sign inside their office that they are BBB accredited but according to BBB website they are not. I brought the car to get an estimate for the damage. I chose them because they are next to my home. The car had a front bumper damage and a deployed air bag but no leaks, no smogs and I drove it myself to their body shop. I told the guy I will be likely paying out of pocket and I want to fix it the cheapest way possible and asked him to look for used parts. He said it will likely be $3-5k and they will run estimate and possibly they won't be able to put parts together back. I said in such a case, if the cost of repair would be too high, I would tow the car away. Days later they sent me an estimate for $12k. The car value since it's a Honda accord 2015 with 180mikes on it is around $6k. I told them the estimate is above the car value and fixing it at this cost makes no sense. I said I will look for another mechanic and tow the car away next week, likely Friday when I don't work. The guy said: ok, no problem. I found a mechanic who agreed to fix my car for $4k. Three times cheaper! When I wanted to take my car from this body shop they emailed me the bill for $1815! It listed 3 hours of work at $125/hr and a storage fees x 8 days. I was in shock. What storage fees? They never mentioned anything about any storage fees. I don't need to store my car. If I knew they charge storage fees I would have towed my car away next day! But they knew exactly what they are doing since I am not their first victim. When I went to the shop they told me I have to pay for storage. That there is a sign on their wall informing customers about it. I called police. In the meantime, the owner of this place (he refused to give me his name) tried to disconnect parts inside my car (likely a battery). I told him to not do anything more with my car. He said: this is my property I can do whatever I want. I said but this is my car. Next, he took his truck and almost drove over me and my brother to block my Honda. I called police again. Finally they came. They said they can't help me. That I have to pay because the owner claims that there is a sign inside his office about storage fees. If I don't remove the car I would be charged hundreds dollars more for additional storage! Too bad that when I talked to their employee at least 3 times and they emailed me estimate, then never mentioned anything to me about the storage fees! The owner eventually lower the price to $1000 but demanded cash saying people often cancel his credit card payments. I wonder why they cancel! Why, if you are so honest, they call their credit cards to cancel their payments? For fun? I had to pay $1000 to remove my dismantled car that they even called: "worthless". Such a nice service. Take advantage of a woman. People, what business does it to their Neighbour? What business on top of charging $375 for a basic diagnoses wants to get another $1440 for a fake "storage"??? This is so fake, so abusive what they did. I can't imagine anyone trusting them. They are crooks. The owner uses dishonest practices to rip people off their money. He does it to his neighbors. I am very pleased w the work Auto Center Collision performed on my car. Came in because the protective coating on my '03 Pontiac had peeled and both bumpers looked terrible! Now my car looks like new, they also cleaned the interior and even the wheels look spiffy. Project was completed on time, which I greatly appreciate. I feel the price was reasonable for work on both the front and rear bumpers. Now I want to go back and fix all Baby's little dings. My 2020 Ford Raptor was taken there by my dealer for warranty work on the paint. The entire passenger side front fender was refinished. Vehicle was returned to me after approximately one day. Once inside my garage, without the glare from the sun, I saw 12 blemishes consisting of fisheye and solvent pop in the paint. Did some research online and most places indicated if there's too many they would have redone the job. Since I am not an expert I left it to the body shops judgement. Drove back the next day, which is an hour and a half drive, to get them fixed. The body shop employee who worked on my truck said he can buff them out and proceeded to sand and polish the affected area. When I got home, without the glare of the sun, I found 7 of the 12 blemishes remained. I took photos and notified my dealer. I called the body shop and spoke to John, who told me that fisheye and solvent pops are common with Ford vehicles and that they can only make it as good as the factory paint. He rudely added that my vehicle was a truck and the paint doesn't have to be perfect. Nowhere in my truck do I have 12 blemishes like those in one panel. And unless he paid for the $80,000 I spent on this truck, how my vehicle is used and how it looks is my prerogative. He told me to bring it in and he will have his guy work on it, but warned I better catch them all this time because he can't keep having his guy come to work on something so "minor." On my third visit, Daniel walked up and downplayed my issue and kept saying the blemishes I was pointing out was dirt. When I showed him the worst one he didn't have anything to say. An employee there told me that in the decades he's been in the business, it was the first time he saw this happen to a vehicle. At least he acknowledged the problem. Again, they sanded and polished the area and removed a few. Under the sun it looked fine. But once at home, I saw that there were a few left and they were obvious. Under Ford recommendation, I took my vehicle to a Ford dealership with a body shop. The shop manager told me that the job was badly done and they would have to sand everything down and redo the paint job. He also noticed that some areas of the clear coat were burned through from all the repeated sanding. In all, 3 visits, 9 hours of driving, several more hours spent waiting, and issue not resolved. Mistakes happen, but a reputable business that backs their work would have owned the mistake and not downplayed the customers concerns and belittled them. The pictures are self explanatory. I don't think anyone would want those blemishes in their car paint, let alone one that is as expensive as mine. read more

These guys were recommended to me through Watsonville Dodge after I had a minor parking mishap that pulled out my right front bumper and broke a bunch of rivets, the grille, etc. They did an amazing job, and my 2021 Dodge Challenger looks like new again! I am so incredibly happy with the work that was done on my Jeep! Lilian -I hope I remembered her name correctly- was so sweet and super nice! I brought my Jeep in here, I had no idea where to go but it was under the AAA guaranteed providers so I went with it And I'm so happy I did. I've only had my Jeep a year and I have worked super hard for it so i was way bummed about the damage. I got my car back looking brand spankin new! The owner(what he called himself) John lied to me in person to make me walk away happy then Fabricated a story with my insurance company to try to not cover my car. I would not recommend taking your car to get repaired at Auto Center Collision. I was just hoping to get my car restored to its condition prior to the accident.
