Called the shop and asked if they can give me a quote or give me a rough estimate about how long my work would take on my vehicle the lady proceeded to say that she couldn't give me any quotes or any part pricing or anything esle because she supposedly didn't have a Vin. I told her I had a vin on hand to give her and she still couldn't help me with pricing of parts or labor very poor customer service definitely do not recommend. read more

These guys are the best. My car needed the liftgate repainted due to peeling, and the estimate I got was very reasonable but they ended up coming in under it! Everyone I spoke with was so friendly and helpful, and they did a beautiful job refinishing my liftgate. They even detailed the inside of my car and washed the outside! I cannot recommend Body By Hank enough to anyone who is in need of auto body services. read more

I brought my car in to Hank's after some recommendations. They were thorough, communicated with me every step of the way, and did an amazing job. read more

I've used Hank several times and he always comes through with quality and performance. I just got an estimate from the big car store to fix something, they were twice as much as Hank. I had no insurance. Please please read more

Referred to Body By Hank by Toriumi Auto Repair and I am delighted with the service received. I have used this facility three time over the past 5 years and they are truly amazing. If you want it done right and at a fair price, then Body By Hank is for you. Ben F Tarsitano, DDS, MD read more

On time, on budget, great work. Thanks. Highly recommended.

I was hit by an uninsured driver. My insurance, Safeco wanted to total it as it's a '97 with 200k plus miles. I said no and took the amount they gave me and went to Body by Hank. They worked with me and did a beautiful job repairing my car. Although I had to pay some out of pocket I could not be happier. The attention to detail, courtesy, professionalism is A+. Leslie and Denise in the office and Hank and his crew are just 100% the best. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I highly recommend Body by Hank. read more

I absolutely can not speak more highly of Hank, Leslie and Denise. I first met Hank a year ago when he was recommended by my mechanic. I had been hit on Highway 1 and the couples Insurance was a nightmare to deal with. Hank and his office have superior customer service...old school, OG type service rarely found these days! They handled everything, no stress or worries on my part. They fought to use factory parts and succeeded. My car was perfect!!! So when I got sideswiped a month ago...the only place I was going to go was Hanks. Again, I was not disappointed! Hank is kind, honest, generous, experienced and a local local! Hank went over and above to make sure I was happy! Happy is not the word. Ecstatic and beyond satisfied! I always look forward to dealing with Hank and his team even under the depressing circumstances of a wrecked car. I highly, highly recommend Hank and his crew!!!! read more

Body by Hank, and Leslie are the bomb, as they use to say. I have this C300, a few years old, however it has seen a fence post or two in it's day, along with a deer. The job was top notch and beautiful in the end, The only problem was, I asked his crew if they slipped in the AMG, supercharger in the process, you know, with out insurance noticing. They said no, sorry. He has a great team, including his sons, at times. Thanks , Gary read more

Body by Hank is the epitome of quality. The shop is small and the staff is friendly and humble. Last I saw, Hank uses PPG system paints and short cuts are non existent here Body by Hank is expensive but worth it. His attention to customer service is unparalleled, he will go through and explain all of the items in the estimate and work with your insurance to ensure customer satisfaction. The work: The prep work is thorough, the finish is consistent and the cut and buff post paint rounds the package out nicely. Hank won't cut corners and he is not afraid of taking on restorations unlike some other larger yet wimpier shops. When I get my classic muscle car to where it needs to go in for prep and paint, I want Hank and his team to get their hands on it. Thanks for all the great work Hank!!! read more

Referred to me by Watsonville Chevrolet, I am extremely satisfied with body work on my Camaro! Friendly service done at reasonable time frame-quicker than I expected. I highly recommend Hank's and prefer them over ANYBODY in Monterey! read more

I've had several dealings with Body by Hank, each one fantastic. Hank gives expert advice and service and always provides a fair price. The quality of his work can't be matched, even with the smallest of jobs. He's done major repairs for two of my cars and also fixed a small scrape from hitting the side of the garage. Will definitely continue to take all my auto body repair jobs to him! read more

Hank, his wife Leslie and their crew epitomize all that is good in people. I had gotten some quotes which I considered way overpriced to have some body work done. I live in the SF Bay area on the coast. Not only was his quote less than half what I had been quoted in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo and Colma, but the work he quoted was more extensive than what the others based their prices on. Hank told me "I don't do temporary work...I fix it to last....no bondo, sheet metal only". I took a chance being 52 miles away. Not only did he do excellent work, but he provided photos of each step of the repair to show me he didn't take the short cut. I picked my truck up yesterday and the work was so good you couldn't tell where the repairs had been done. High Quality, reasonable pricing, informative quotes, quality people of good character with high morals.....and great body work....Body by Hank is like finding the hidden treasure. I'm already scheduling another appointment for more extensive work. read more

Best body shop. A real craftsman with his work. Not only do they do great work on autos, but have had wood furniture finished by them and am completely impressed by their quality. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a body shop. read more

I can't say too many good things about Body by Hank. Professional, kind and excellent service is just the beginning. My situation has been a bit unique as it has taken quite a long time for insurance to get straightened out but Hank and Leslie have been incredibly patient and supportive through the whole process. I would recommend this body shop to everyone. Thank you Body by Hank. read more

Superb work/craftmanship. Hank rebuilt the front of my 77 year old classic car, both fenders were crushed in transit. The privious owners had Bondoed the heck out of the fenders. I now have beautiful all steel fenders, my concealed headlamps work correctly and the paint match is excellent. I give high marks for Hank's customer service, his attention to special requests and attention to detail. You will not be disapponted! read more

There is only street parking, since his shop is always full, but that is the only minus about the place. He re-attached my floppy bumper that had been pulled off by cement curbs a few times, and charged me less than what was on the final bill. I will go here again if I need any other body work done. read more

Recommended to me by a friend, I found this to be a fantastic place. Very high quality work, accurate estimate (both in terms of time and price), friendly environment. They even have Bon Apetit magazines to read while you wait - I found a nice Nutella recipe, yum! When I got my car back they had thoroughly cleaned it, both inside and out. Almost worth damaging it again, just to repeat the experience of having it fixed here. read more

I drive hard and I drive fast, and I tend to be accident prone, so I have had a lot of experience with body shops. Body by Hank is definitely the best. Not only is the work done predictably perfect, but the customer service is excellent-from Hank overseeing the work to be sure that every detail is taken care of, to Leslie compassionately managing the insurance work and claims process. The other day I dropped by the shop after I noticed a rattle in my door. Hank fixed it over a year ago. He said, "I know exactly what it is, and I want to make things right." To my amazement he said that he wanted to fix it right tgen, opened up my door and replaced a bolt that had broken off. I left there feeling like always, like I had a new car again. read more
