Short version: Photograph your car and under your hood before getting it repaired. This place switched out my good battery for a dying one. Don't come here. Long version: Got rear ended in the passenger side on 10/25/19, and AAA sponsored Caliber to do an assessment of my vehicle. I drove my car there, and they dissasembled it for analysis. After about a week, I was informed it was a total loss. The car still runs fine, but the damage was double the estimated worth. Caliber does not do total loss repairs, that's fair. The problem was, my bumper was still detached and in my trunk, my right turn signal timing was different from the left, and the turnover on my car was getting weaker every time I turned it on. The icing on top was Caliber misplacing my rear view mirror (why was it removed in the first place?) and "ordering" a new one a day later. It had water spots on it, you don't have to lie to me. The problem with the turnover got worse and worse until I took my car over to an AutoZone in town to get the battery checked. Lo and behold it was a different one than I had dropped it off with. My original battery was a black Duralast, this one was green and white and a different brand. I had to buy a new one and install it so the car wouldn't be deadlined. The customer service was good, and I was thankful to be provided a rental in the interim, but stealing working parts is inexcusable. read more

This past monday I had the unfortunate experience of hitting a 5 gallon bucket on the freeway and 2 hours later, I was at Caliber motors seeing Eunice Lin for an estimate. Within 10 minutes Eunice had an estimate for me and put down a down payment for the parts and left. Expecting a week or so for parts to arrive, Eunice called me later that day and advise me parts would arrive in 2 days. Well the parts did arrive on Wednesday and Eunice called me Wednesday morning and asked if I could be at shop around 1pm for installation. I arrived before 1pm and Eunice took my truck around back to begin repairs. Within the first hour, Eunice had given me several updates on the ongoing repairs. Eunice even advised me that I could go without replacing one of the parts and saving me several hundred dollars. So in the end, not only did Eunice save me several hundred dollars on my repair, my truck was completed in a little over an hour. I have never had such an over the top aweome vehicle repair in this record time. Eunice was extremeley professional and kind. I would recommend Caliber Collision to those needing repairs. They have the repair status update almost daily , I have worked with collision company before , but the Caliber Collision in Walnut is the Best of the Best ! When I came to pick my car , there's a tiny scratch from headlight , I'm totally fine with it , Mr. Robert said give him a try to see if he can sand or polish it off, 5 Mins later , guess what , he did remove the scratches from the headlight . I had to make an appointment two weeks out, in order to obtain an estimate. After the estimate, the manager said it would take about 45 minutes to compile and would be emailed. The estimate was on a Monday. On Friday, I called to politely expedite the estimate and was told someone would get back to me later that day. No courtesy call or estimate was ever received. I was ghosted by this establishment and can't imagine why. Nothing strange happened at the estimate. It's simply wrong/bad business to just ignore a customer. A customer should not have to wait weeks for an estimate at a repair shop. I took the car to another shop, had the estimate in an hour, with the beautiful repair done in three hours, several days later. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. It took them over five months to get all the parts to fix my car. I understand the delay due to supply chain issues but they never once called me to give me an update I always had to call them every month to see the status. Then when the parts finally did arrive I tried to schedule an appointment to bring my car in but no one would call me back. I even called corporate to complain and never received a response from anyone. I then took my car to seidners and it took them just a week and a half to get the parts and they called me every couple days to give me an update and schedule went to bring my car in. They also are one of the most expensive repair shops out there. Save your money and aggravation and go elsewhere. read more

Took my car in to get my bumper and surrounding area fixed. I got rear ended and though drivable, the scratches and punctures made me cringe every time I open the trunk. George helped me and explained to me what they would be doing to my car, which places needed to be replaced and what can easily be repainted. My car was estimated to be completed in 4 business days. They printed me all the information I needed on the spot and even set me up to get reminders via text on car updates. That was really useful for me because instead of asking and wondering if it would be completed on time, I was able to get a text that confirmed that it will be completed on day x. Conveniently, enterprise is literally next door for car rentals. So after dropping off my car I went over and got a rental while I waited for my baby to come out from the shop. My car was finished the day they promised and I went over to pick it up. Unfortunately while inspecting the work done, George and I noticed that there was a chip on the new bumper :(( Realized that it mightve been an accident while moving the car for me to pick up. It wasn't that big or noticeable, probably like a fly perched on the bumper corner but after noticing it bugged me. George assured that he'd take the car back in to get it fixed and apologized for what happened. He was really nice and helpful about it and got me back into my rental car and I picked it up the next morning. It was repainted and matched the color of the bumper. But lowkey kinda will always bug me that it was new but kinda chipped. But it doesn't look as bad as before so I guess that will do. He assured me if anything wrong happens to the paint, I am guranteed a lifetime warranty on it. Thanks Caliber for making my Accord look new again! My car recently got hit in the front and my insurance company (Farmers) wanted to get the damages estimated. I chose Caliber mainly because of their quality of work and positive reputation. The girls at reception were really easy to work with; I think they were Tina and Vanessa. They were responsive and were able to pull up my paperwork really quickly. I was assigned Lawrence as my service adviser and he went through the damages of the car with me pretty thoroughly. Although my car was not delivered at the time I was told, I am still overall pleased with their quality of work. To keep up their customer service, they were able to provide me with a rental for a day because of the last minute changes. When I picked up my car, I found a piece of fiber stuck and Lawrence even took the car back to get that fiber out. Overall a pleasant experience with Caliber and would definitely come back for any auto body work in the future. read more

I waited over a year to write this review and I'll give the advisors a 5 stars for listening to me and putting up with me. But the work done to my car was a 1 star. After multiple times returning to Caliber for the paint not matching to the wheels paint peeling from the rework and a side clip busted they all seemed to be a quick fix and here you go again. Previously it was there cause of the tires going low since they repainted my wheels and not re-did the power coating. It leaked through the uneven paint finish and still leaked since they just added another coat of paint. Now the paint is chipping away and looks bad. Also the clips to my side door trim were lose and trim hanging out and I had them checked out. All they did was put hot glue so it can stick and separated again. That's when I seen the glue. Come on seriously. Fast forward today I have uneven paint color and a bumber that has thick paint on it that is chipping away plus my rims. I have the trim on the side of my car popping out cause the glue came lose and I have a check tire pressure once a week on my 2 front tires and once a month on my 2 rear. I'm very unhappy with the work Caliber performed. Next time I'll choose a local shop since I went 30 miles out of my area just cause too many people said good things about this shop. Purchased a car recently, that had repairs done, two years ago at this location. To make a long story short, the repairs were not done properly, bolts were missing, glue was used, and a bracket was broken. My friend paid cash, to avoid his insurance deductible. I'm lucky to have found, a honest reputable professional, and asked them why the item in question on the car was loose, and uneven, and not lining up like it was suppose to. Now at least I was able to have repairs done, to make my vehicle safe enough to drive, until I can afford the actual repairs that needed to be done in the first place!!!
