Auto Enthusiast, High-End Grade Quality…read more If you are really into cars and the paint appearance is just as important as what's under the hood.... then RP is the place. First, I make specialty paint for airplanes as a living. I'm the guy who can spot used cars that "never had an accident" due to the repaint not being flawless. So when I started getting quotes for my repaint, I was pretty much accepting that my baby would be scarred for life and never look the same. You see, the reason it's easy for us car enthusiasts to see when even a good repaint fails the mark is because of something called "haze". Even if we hit the impossible on matching the gloss, surface texture, and specialty effects like mica or flake, but you miss the haze, then it's noticeable to us. As a note, the haze is a measure of how "true" or "rich" the color is once it's all cured. Is it cloudy or do the colors pop out at you kinda thing. I wanted to repaint a door and rear quarter. What's worse, it was the driver's side. So I'm seeing it every time I get in. My issue: I have a gorgeous Tesla with a high-end factory paint job that had a metallic flake effect. Pretty much an impossible ask to begin with; and then toss in that it was for someone proud of their car like me. But let me tell ya, it came out flawless! Hell, they even matched the flake and peel effects. No idea how. All with the lowest of three bids. Lastly, this Rudy fellow is the real deal. Great staff, but he himself called me the evening I dropped off the car. He understood I was going to be a tough customer to please, but there was something about him. He was confident and that's what made me choose RP. So if you need the impossible, don't even mess with the other quotes. This is my place from here on.

UPDATE - They Made It Right and Went Above & Beyond…read more I wanted to come back and update my original review because I believe a business should get credit when they step up and make things right. After the issues I had with the original work, Dario reached out to me personally and asked me to bring the car back so they could take another look and rework the areas I wasn't happy with. I brought the Jaguar back, went over everything with them, and they took the time to address the concerns properly. They corrected the issues with the hood and paintwork, cleaned up the areas that had been missed, and made sure I had an opportunity to inspect the car before everything was finalized. What impressed me even more was that they didn't stop there. They went above and beyond and took care of several areas that weren't even part of the original work. They addressed additional imperfections around the car, repaired and refinished the mirrors, and put extra effort into getting the overall appearance of the car back where it should be. The difference is significant, and the finished result speaks for itself. I've attached updated photos showing how the car looks now. Mistakes can happen with any business. For me, the bigger question is what a company does when a customer isn't satisfied. In this case, Dario and his team took responsibility, listened to my concerns, brought the car back in, and put in the work to make sure I was happy with the final result. I appreciate Dario reaching out and the effort the entire team put into making this right. Based on how they handled the situation and the quality of the finished work, I'm happy to update my review and give them the credit they deserve. Thank you, Dario, Edward and the team, for standing behind your work and going above and beyond.

And another 5-star review in the books for Robert of On The Spot Bumpers Plus!…read more | BACKSTORY | So, one night, Hubby had a craving for surf and turf. And me? Endless salad bar. So up into the Challenger we bounded and off we ventured to the finest dining establishment known this side of the 15... Sizzler hahahaha!!! Upon arrival, we were parking, and suddenly, heard this awful (((scrrrrraaaaape))) on what we thought (hoped, prayed) was the curb. Except, there was no curb in sight, but instead, a Tesla. Ouch. A Tesla, y'all. You see, the mister accidentally undershot the range of the skinny lot slot and his bumper immediately became acquainted with Tesla's. Not exactly how you want to first meet. | MID-STORY | Naturally, I Yelped it and threw out 4 quote inquires to repair the Challenger; 3 of which were returned. Of them, Robert's was: 1. The fastest 2. The most reasonable 3. The professional-est (not a word, btw) So, after a few information confirmation exchange messages, we made arrangements for Robert to come to our home to complete the work. From quote, to arrival, to cash-in-hand, the price never changed; the only thing that did was our once-scratched-up bumper. It literally looks as if nothing happened in the first place! And that's what you want when your car/arm/ego... when your whatever... gets bruised. | END OF STORY | As of this penning, 114 five-star reviews should be proof enough that Robert of OTS is your vehicle boo-boo's go-to repair guy. If not, go ahead... read all of the reviews including this one; you'll learn that everyone is saying the same thing! So, no need to continue your quest, unless, of course, research is in your blood and you "just want to make sure". I get it. But guaranteed, rabbit hole dive and some odd hours later... you'll just come right back here. | MORAL OF THE STORY | (Choose one) [A] Avoid rabbit holes. [B] Hire the best. [C] Don't eat at Sizzler.

They kept bringing me back to the shop for three months, only for the insurance company to ultimately deem the vehicle unsafe to drive and a total loss. I took the car to Crash Champions a second time, following the insurance company's instructions, to give them an opportunity to correct their mistake two months into this ordeal. Instead of fixing the problem, the shop attempted to conceal what had become an irreparable issue. During this attempt, my service writer called to update me, and I asked directly if I'd be satisfied with the work this time. Her response was that if I didn't like it, I could just bring the car back in. That shouldn't be the standard. Repairs should be done right the first time. Getting basic updates was a struggle the entire time. I'd call and be told the person I needed was in a meeting or at lunch, with hours passing and no callback. Twice I drove to the shop in person just to check on the status. What's worse, they tried to give the car back to me multiple times when it wasn't even safe to drive, putting myself and my family at risk. It was clear their team wasn't capable of handling this level of repair, and each "fix" was more of a band-aid than a real repair. After the third failed attempt, the manager, Ray, called to apologize. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the service writer, calling her "too green," despite the fact that she wasn't the one doing the actual bodywork or paint. He then offered to repair the car again and personally cover my rental and repair costs, basically asking to handle it outside of insurance. I declined. This experience was exhausting from start to finish. Crash Champions seems built around quick, low-cost patches instead of proper repairs or evaluations, and in my case their negligence cost me months of my time, immeasurable stress, and potentially worse had I not taken my car elsewhere for a second opinion and found out the vehicle was unsafe.
