My Caliber Collision experience started with Dawn, the Office Manager. Besides being courteous and respectful, she was friendly and engaging, and made sure all my questions were answered. I then dealt with Jeremy, the person who provided me with an estimation of the repairs my car would need. The thoroughness of Jeremy's explanations telling and showing me why specific repairs were needed was greatly appreciated. In fact, Jeremy is the reason why I chose Caliber Collision to repair my car. Throughout the repair process, Jeremy sent me daily updates to let me know what progress was made that day!! Jeremy also went over the completed repairs when I picked up my car. And last, manager of this branch not only gave me a courtesy ride back home after I dropped my car off at Caliber Collision, but he came and picked me up at home to take me to his shop so I could pick up my car. So I take back my 4 star review because a week after getting my car back someone was nice enough to stop me at a gas station saying my tire was looking like it was about to fall off. And I remember them saying they fixed everything and did a 4 point inspection. Well obviously that wasn't done. So now that my tire is baled and they have taken there time getting back to me. Below are the key issues I wish to address: **Subpar Repairs** - I trusted State Farm's recommendation of Caliber Collision in Snohomish,WA as a preferred repair shop. After six weeks, I received my vehicle back in an unacceptable condition. - Upon inspection, I noticed alarming noises from the vehicle, including squealing and deep rubbing sounds while accelerating, braking, and coasting. **Ineffective Follow-Up** - I returned the vehicle to Caliber Collision for further inspection; however, the only action taken was a tire rotation at Les Schwab, which did not resolve the issues. - When I contacted the manager, Jeremy, about my ongoing complaints, he responded dismissively, stating that my vehicle was fixed end of story. **Lack of Support from State Farm** - When I sought assistance from State Farm, I was informed that I could pursue repairs at another auto body shop, but coverage would be uncertain since Caliber had already been compensated. - Other auto body shops refused to work on my vehicle due to liability concerns stemming from State Farm's prior payment to Caliber. **Discovery of Severe Mechanical Issues** - I eventually took my 4Runner to Roland Toyota in Everett, where it was discovered that I had damaged/defective rotor, damaged shock, and ultimately a broken axle. - Over the past year, I have relied on eight different rental cars due to these unresolved issues, which I have meticulously documented. **Insufficient Documentation and Accountability** - State Farm claims to have no record of my personal information or any documentation regarding the accident or repairs, raising serious concerns about internal processes. - It is incomprehensible how a company of this magnitude could issue payment to Caliber without proper documentation. **Continued Negligence** - Following consultations with an attorney, I was referred to Mark Olson from Future Forensics Collision Investigative Service. After further inspections, it was determined that Caliber performed inadequate repairs, including improper welds, gaps in panels and a bent frame. - Despite my requests, no one from State Farm inspected my vehicle until it was too late, leading to the determination that my vehicle is now a total loss. This entire ordeal has been incredibly stressful and frustrating, with both Caliber Collision and State Farm evading responsibility. The lack of care and accountability is alarming, especially given that the vehicle was my daily driver and essential for my family. Safety concerns for myself and other road users are paramount. The front desk person was very accommodating and said they would take a look. Logan kindly got some clips, got under the car and fixed my problem at no charge. This was a temporary fix. Terrible customer service. Showed up a little late cause I was told a different time then scheduled by insurance and was turned away. Didn't know you needed to be exactly on the dot to drop off your car for repairs. Lost thousands of dollars for work due to the rude employee jessica. Chris and the crew really went the extra mile to help us out. We had a partially detached bumper. Even though the shop was fully loaded with work, they said come in and let them look at it. We did and they took it to the shop for a better evaluation. A short time later they came and said it was all done. They had reattached the unit and it looked like new. Since we were getting ready to leave on a vacation trip, we were really blessed to have that done. And to top it all off, there was no charge. Just neighbor helping neighbor. So wonderful to find a shop that has such solid values. We definitely recommend them highly and, should the need arise, will be using their service again! I don't think I can express just how perfect in every way my experience was with Caliber Collison in Snohomish Washington. Someone had done a hit and run while my car was parked near my house about three years previous. I got an estimate at another business and decided to wait. So three years later I stopped in just to get an estimate. The front desk lady (Dawn) was very kind, efficient and professional. She set up an appointment that same day for Michael to give an estimate. It was less than the one 3 years ago. Michael was quick, thorough, personable and professional. I set up for the work to be done. They prepared me for how long it all could take and WOW! They under promised and over delivered!!! I got my car the very next day. Poor Communication. 06/2023 my car was scraped in a parking lot - driver's insurance company set up appointment with Caliber Collision. 7/5. Took car in to Caliber Collision for cosmetic damages. Asked Brian Klein for estimate on repairing other, unrelated body damage. He gave a high estimate, so I told him, no, only repair the cosmetic damage from the recent accident. Specifically asked C.C. to contact me by text & phone, not email. 7/11. I call C.C. Office staff says they've been trying to reach me by email; staff wants me to open email right then and read it. I say, no, just tell me what you want to say: B.K. wants me to drive 1/2 hr. each way to look at body damage under panels. I remind them, no, only repair the recent cosmetic damage, I was already aware of previous damage and told B.K. that. 7/12. C.C. calls me and repeats B.K. wants to show me body damage under panels. I repeat, no, only repair recent cosmetic damage. C.C. staff says B.K. will send me pics of the body damage in my email. 7/13. C.C. sends text update "repairs coming along nicely." 7/14. I text "thanks for the update." 7/19. C.C. sends text update inviting me to call if I have any questions. 7/20. C.C. sends text update saying repairs are "on track." 7/24. C.C. sends text update sent saying [SIC] "check you email from 7/18. WE are on hold." I do not see this text until the next day 7/25 when I receive the next text: 7/25. C.C. sends text saying that completion date has been updated from 8/1 to 9/1. I conclude this was the message in the email - that they forgot I had requested text & phone, not email, then texted a repeat message: on hold - prob. waiting for parts - delaying completion until 9/1. I respond "thank you." 7/27. Text received at 6:45 pm with this message [SIC], " We are on hold and can not repair the damages. The unrelated damage under what they owe for if a liability we can not accept. Am Fam should be reaching out also since I have not heard from you since drop off and the email from the 18 explaining with pictures included. Thanks." I text back "I don't know what you mean..." Since text was received after hours, I cannot call back. I check my emails back through June none from Caliber Collision. 7/28. I receive a phone call from Enterprise early in the morning, saying today is the last day my rental car will be paid for. I am furious at the poor communication from Caliber Collision and the last minute notice. I call the insurance adjuster who explains that for liability reasons Caliber Collision can't repair the current damage unless they repair the underlying damage. I now have to rearrange my schedule to pick up my car by 4:30 thatday or have to pay rental car charges over the weekend. B.K. calls me for the first time to ask if I want the bumper put back on my car. I am driving and tell him I can't talk, so when I stop, I text that I expect my car to be returned to me in the condition in which I brought it. I text "poor poor communication on your part. I am writing a horrible yelp review." I also text that if I cannot pick up the car by 4:30 it will have to be on Monday unless they have a drop off procedure. Received text from C.C. that my car would be ready by 4:30. When I arrive at 4:40 my car is not ready. I notice that the gas light is on, which was not on when I dropped off the car. 7/29. After driving for approx. 30 miles my "Check Engine" light comes on. I have owned this car for 3 years and this is the first time the check engine light has ever come on. I am afraid to drive it, concerned that B.K. or someone at Caliber Collision did damage to the engine because I said I was writing a bad yelp review. read more

I recently needed some body work on my car and took it to Caliber. I like that I was constantly kept in the loop with updates. Julie did the estimate and got the parts ordered. I have after market fog lights because the year and make of car didn't come with them from the manufacturer so she had to find them. She also had to deal with my insurance company which was less than cooperative but her persistence won out. When repairs were done Julie made sure we were happy and explained the guarantee to us. I have been an insurance agent for 20 years and have sent MANY customers to that location, I will never send another customer to this location again. I sent my sister-in-law there in December to get her car repaired. She has a very limited income and my wife and I basically support her. I helped her purchase this car and I am repairing it to make it a safe vehicle, it runs great. The person she had to deal with (Steve) told her she got ripped off, her car was junk and she should sell it. Now she is afraid to drive her car, my wife has to drive her around. She is depressed and a bundle of nerves because she has no money for another car. I have to keep telling her the car is fine and I am replacing all the worn out bushings and mounts. Chris Smith (GM) runs a tight ship here. Like others they have been hit with part delays and labor shortages but yet this location seems to be on the ball. They have some wonky corporate policies about not being able to perform work on a vehicle deemed a "total loss" by an insurance company even if paid in full (cash) is offered but this is not the fault of the shop's management. I ended up taking my car to an independent and paid cash out of pocket but this is no reflection on MICHAEL, DAWN and CHRIS, they do their jobs.
