In August I took my Nissan Frontier to Central body works to have the right rear section of my truck bed fixed. I got the truck back, with everything looking good. The next day I am leaving for work and see rust all over the area where the body work was done. I took the truck back to them to have them clean the rust out of my bed. They power washed and gave it back to me. When it dried the rust stains were still there. I again took it back to them and they power washed it. When I got it home I looked and saw that the rust stains are still there, and they dented my wheel well. I called my insurance company and complained to them, they called the owner of Central body works and he said their people did not know how to clean rust stains off if a bed liner, so their solution was just to power wash it and hope I do not look to closely. The owner contacts me and says he will figure out a solution and get back to me. ( This is 2 months after the truck had been fixed ) he asks me to bring it in, I bring it to their shop, but they moved, which the owner failed to tell me. I finally get to the shop and expect the owner to be there, since his people are completely incompetent, bit he's a no show. I tell the person at the new location who I am, he has no idea, what's going on. I tell him that the owner set this up for me to bring my truck in to have it fixed, again crickets. Someone else comes in and asks what's going on, and he has no idea either. I tell both of these gentlemen that I was supposed to get a rental car, and my truck needs to be fixed. One of the gentlemen says that I need to setup a car rental myself. So I told him that if a car is not provided for me now, I will leave, and consult a lawyer, and see where that leads. I took my vehicle in a few weeks back to get an estimate after hearing great reviews about the work being done there. I would not know how the work is because I didn't get that far. The estimator talked down to me and honestly tried to make me feel inferior to him. Just not a good personality trait in my opinion to be talking to customers. I tried talking to someone else but he said he was the only one. So i left and took my vehicle somewhere else and had a much better experience. read more

Thank you Central Body Works for a fantastic job! Earlier this year (2022) someone crashed into the front side on the driver's side of my Leaf, leaving it mangled and me quite sad and frustrated. Due to the pandemic, waiting times for parts and service were longer than normal. But Central Body Works were able to fit me in and fix my car so that it looked like new. They communicated with me throughout the process keeping me updated on the progress, and completed the work ahead of time. What do I think of central body works? I think they are terrible. Are you prepared to have to wait on parts because the estimator doesn't know how to order appropriately? Are you prepared to have to make a handful of useless trips for installation even when they think they have all the parts? Are you wanting to have to argue about obvious parts that break after "completion" (Obviously related). Ready for bad service and a-hole techs? Then look no further. They will make the process of a claim all the more stressful. This s*** review could have been avoided if they displayed honest business. But nope. read more

I never leave reviews but my experience here was so horrendous that I felt compelled to leave a review. If I can leave zero stars, I would. I brought my car here for a simple rear bumper replacement after being rear ended. Little did I know that I'd end up with engine damage. I have a highly modified Subaru STI and these fuckers decided they'd hoon the shit out of my car. Now my blow off valve is no longer venting and there's compression surge in my turbo when I let off the throttle. I don't know where they took my car without my knowledge but I know for a fact it was offroad as there are pebbles smashed between my lip spoiler and my front bumper. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. My performance shop is running a thorough inspection and you can damn well bet I'll be documenting EVERYTHING. And yes, my attorney is involved as well. I'm going to expose these crooked fucks if it's the last thing I do. read more

I scraped and dented the right rear door and fender on my new Toyota with 2500 miles. Central Body Works came in with a good estimate and their ETA for completion was better than other shops. I was particularly concerned about paint matching since Harbor Gray is a new color for Toyota and changes from blue to gray depending on the light. Their work was great, done on time, and can't tell there was any damage and paint looks original. They also give a lifetime guarantee on their work. The only negative was the inside of the door and surrounding area was not cleaned up from dust and fingerprints. It took just a few minutes for me to clean it up, and I would certainly recommend this business. Good folks but I hope I don't have to see them again. read more

I had a complicated repair to my truck and this was made more difficult by insurance adjusters who were unprofessional. These guys are great! I would refer anyone to this place. Being somewhat new to the area I had no clue where to take my F150 for some body work recently. I got a few quotes in the Everett area and decided on Central for the job. First off, setting up the appraisal was a breeze and they had great availability. Upon walking into the shop I felt like I was going into a dealership vs a dirty auto shop. The receptionist Alisa was very polite and professional; Trig, the appraiser did a very thorough and detailed estimate and answered all my questions. I kept in contact as I was waited a few days for my insurance to do their part. Over that time both Taylor & Trig helped with a few more questions. I got my truck in within 3 days of getting my insurance check, and they started the work. A week or so later it was ready for pick up (a day earlier than expected). Body looked perfect, and paint (metallic black) blends perfectly. Couldn't have asked for a better result. One minor issue however was my window tint was scratched on the side that was being worked on. I didn't notice upon pick up walk around, but later that day. They assured me they would take care of it and get it back in a timely manner, as they did. Mistakes happen, and they handled it perfectly. read more

I had my wife's Nissan 350z in for work along the drivers side. New door with repair on the rear quarter panel and a fade with new paint into the front fender. The paint looks wonderful it is just the wrong color. When I brought the problem to their attention they just want to give me the run around about how the car is old and faded. Thing is I have had this car in a different shop for repairs just 6 months ago and the were able to match the paint perfectly. read more

Spent almost 10 years in auto body, mostly on the paint side. Got out of the trade, so when Rodland Toyota damaged the bumper on my wife's 2015 4Runner they sent it to central to fix it. I thought It was a simple repair, should be in and out in a few days. After Monday, Tues, Wed, Thur, went by I finally picked up our 4Runner on Friday. 5 days for a simple bumper repair that couldn't have been more than 4.5 labor hours is unacceptable. I believe Rodland Toyota made them redo it which is partly there fault because they are no judge of quality, the final nail in the coffin and why I'll give them such a low rating is when I picked up our 4Runner and drove off I notice my low tire pressure light was on...when I got home loaded the 4Runner for our road trip to Leavenworth I checked the tires and they seemed ok...proceeded to drive to Leavenworth, once there that's when I found a body shop bolt about 2 1/2" long in our tire...changed the tire and so on...when we finally got home I had to spend almost 200$ of my own money for a new tire. At that point the thought of trying to get Rodland/Central bodyworks to pay for our new tire was more than I wanted to deal with. Poor communication, and quality control. The bumper repair does look good and the color match is good considering it's silver. That's as positive as this review will get. read more

All I can say is STELLAR work boys. I have worked in many body shops and the auto industry for years. This place was recommended from my insurance agent who is also a friend of mine and they did not disappoint. I was rear ended on my way to work by a punk ass kid with no insurance. It put a couple small dings and scratches in my plastic bumper cover which already had scratches in it to begin with and they fixed it all. It was also done in three days as well. They washed and vacuumed my car also. I highly recommend and if I need work done again I will not hesitate to return. read more

I got rear-ended and my back end was badly dented and shoved in. They made it better than new, right down to the new paint, AND they cleaned my car from top to bottom. The other guy's insurance paid for it all, and I'm a happy, happy camper! Another place I called first was going to make me wait two weeks just to inspect it, but they saw it right away and finished the work in a timely manner. This is my 2nd experience with Central Body Works and all I can say after this time is WOW. I'm mind blown. Thank you so much Mike and Alissa for making this ordeal as easy and pleasant as the first. I've been in two auto accidents within the last 2 years(neither was of my fault thank goodness). I was recommended to use this business in the former incident by my insurance company and everything went smoothly. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and welcoming. I got my car back and it was great. For the more recent accident, I was given the option to use another body shop but I told them I would rather contract Central. Everything happened like it did the first time. I had my car towed there, signed it in, was driven to the rental car place etc. Everything happened liked it was suppose to and did the first time with Central. Communication was concise and consistent. The front desk ladies(Alissa and I can't recall her name but she has blond hair and is super sweet and lovely) were amazing like the first time. I got my car back today. . Words can't describe the gratitude and love I feel. Thank you soooo much Central for the care and attention you gave to my car. You guys also found something beloved that I thought I had lost over a year ago and am filled with so much gratitude and appreciation for it that I'm speechless. These guys are awful. My friend, her infant, my son and me had blown a tire and needed a jack. We had the spare tire and everything, all we needed was a jack. It was 80 degrees outside and the owner and said it wasn't his problem. He refused to help 2 women and their children.He is worthless and so is his business. I've had one auto-body shop experience in my 35 years of driving. At least that is what the story was until recently. Now I am very mechanically inclined. I understand very well how a car operates and have made my own car repairs when it seamed practical. But body work is a different matter. I tried once and the alignment of parts just wasn't what it should be. Also I ended up with way to many spare bolts and washers. In the last two weeks my Honda Civic has had two body shop visits. One for a driver's side door sticking when opened. Then no more than 3 days later I ran over a blown out tire on I-5. I had no idea who to call, so I searched the Internet for a shop close to where I am staying. Decided, based on chance, that I would call Central Body Works. Well I'm glad I did. They receptionist was polite and had a helpful attitude. She asked me to drop by and let their shop salesman look at the issue. The gentleman was polite, gave me all the options, and understood what level of repair I chose to pay for. A few minutes later he was back with an estimate of a few hours to correct the door and quarter panel conflict. Less than a day later, the work was complete. I drove away a very satisfied customer. About 5 days later, I called CBW again. This time because I had run over a split retread while traveling to Oregon. I wasn't happy to find the loose tire tread had trashed half of my lower grill, my wheel well, and the underside air dam. When I got back to town, I called CBW again and was promptly asked to drop the car off for inspection. I was called mid day with an estimate and scheduled the repair for the following Monday. They called me a few hours later to inform me of other damaged parts (not body related) that they could have repaired. The salesman did mention that the two items were dented and busted up, but we're working. I thanked him for reporting the condition of the components to me, but I would choose to have them repaired if and when they fail. He then told me that my car would be ready to pick up in a few hours. I was amazed at how efficiently CBW's shop was run. I picked the car up this afternoon and it looks terrific. Thanks CBW and thanks Riley, for making my two body shop experiences pleasant. Your shop did a fantastic job getting my car road worthy again. Nothing personal, I hope I never have to come back, but if I do it will be to Central Body Works. read more

The worst body shop experience of our life. We were rearended in our suv. It was a specialty SUV, we asked if they were sure they could repair it correctly, they said yes. We waited, and waited, after over a month, they finally told us that our car was done. We went to pick it up & found that it wasn't done. The "new" paint looked like a child had painted it with egg shell throughout. So, after another 2 weeks in their shop, they once again told us it was done. We went to get it & started examining it, they paint was fine, but we found so many other things that weren't, including wires hanging out of the back where there was suppose to be a light & a crack in the interior in the back from the accident, that they had missed. They said they had to order more parts & then would call us when they came in to install. We took our car home. To our horror, upon driving it, we found literally 20+ things still wrong with it. This is after over $12,500+ in repairs they said they did. We had to go back there & meet with the insurance estimator, they begged us to bring the car back to fix all the items still wrong. Instead, we took our car to another body shop, a true body shop, they examined the work CBW had said they had done, they told us that our vehicle was a total loss & that it was from the beginning & that CBW & the insurance company knew that from the beginning. Our car still had the wrinkled in the ceiling where it had been crumpled in half from the impact. We were also told that it wasn't safe to even be driving it around that way. So, after all of this, our car ended up totaled. Horrible, horrible horrible dishonest body shop. Don't waste your time. read more
