Thank you for the help on my car! Wonderful service and great communication. I was updated through the entire process.

Body work here was impeccable!! I highly recommend coming here if you're ever in an accident.

I just got my car back and it looks amazing! ask for rebecca she was great to work with!!

I had a great experience with Caliber Collision! Everyone was friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They made everything easy and stress-free, and my car looked great when I got it back. The repairs were done well and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Caliber Collision to anyone needing collision repairs! read more

Don't go to this place. After we have in accident with my traverse 2020. The insurance send us here. They took a while to fix it. To start. After i pick up my car the AC wasn't working. He told me to talk to the insurance and the insurance told me to talk to them. Snd im here with out AC. They charge me for a tire that they didn't even replace. I Have to go back and complain. Then they replace another tire with the wrong size. Then now my car starts pulling when i drive it after they change tires and he doesn't want to talk to me. Please stay away from this place. read more

Shit shit shit job! All around in service, lack of communication, quality , zero value. My Audi Q5 was hit by a neighbors teens on the side back door while backing up . 1. My representative was not easy to get a hold of and didn't not meet deadline . After 2-3 weeks of a grace period and dodging my calls with the receptionist I called corporate in Texas ( got a call back really quick) 2. Unfinished car was delivered with missing handles above windows , I was going to get a call to let me know when they are delivered and ready to be installed and months later no call . Not even sure why I needed new handles the damage was just on door ( seems like they might just be ordered parts to steal) 3. The cap covers on the side of my left mirror has fallen off. 3. The other day I was driving around looking at Halloween decor with my son and tried rolling down my window and hear this awful noise the window was crooked and would not go down fully. Most likely will be reporting this company to better business bureau and calling corporate again. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This shop does terrible work, might as well use a spray can. Horrible customer service also. Worst shop I have ever been to. Save your self a headache and go somewhere else. This place should be closed down. Worst auto body experience of my life read more

Stay away from this location!! I was told before bringing my vehicle in that there was no back up. Since bringing in, they have pushed out the repairs to almost 2 months (december 4- estimates Jan 27) and even at that estimate I'm not confident it will be done. Every time I follow up, I'm met with a different excuse- getting parts is hard still with COVID (what!? It's 2026.) the technician is sick, the new one's father died, they had to move things around, holidays, you name it!! You can just tell by the supervisors tone of voice that they have zero urgency. They are still getting paid. Meanwhile I'm sticking with a sky high rental bill waiting on them to get their act together. Please stay away from this location- wish I had known this before trusting them with my car. read more

Kara always kept me up to date on my cars repair. It was returned fixed and clean. My car was involved in a minor accident in the parking lot of my work place. Instead of going to The other Car Repair place I chose Caliber. Hopefully I will not get into any more accidents. If I do I will continue to go to Caliber. read more

Caliber Collision and the company they use for glass work are a mixed bag.  When I first called Caliber I spoke to Mark, he was extremely nice and very willing to answer my questions. We made the appointment to bring the car in the beginning of February.  Our point of contact person at Caliber for our claim was Kara. She was extremely fast in going through the car, it was very clear she was busy and honestly my husband and I both felt we were an inconvenience. When we came back inside she told us she needed to come up with an estimate and we'd go from there. It was Wednesday and I asked how long that would take. She repeated what she just said. I said ok but will that take 2 days, 3 days or how long? She said it'd be done by Friday afternoon. Fast forward to Friday, I am not getting a call, so I call and leave a message but no call back. So I called Friday before closing.  She said their computers were down so she couldn't call me. I was given a return date for the car of roughly 3 weeks. The roof didn't need to be replaced so the car was ready sooner than expected. But wait, we need another day at Caliber.  The glass company had to replace my windshield in the repair process because it cracked when they took it out. When they installed the replacement, they didn't calibrate the sensors in the windshield. Shouldn't that be part of the service? It is with other companies. This was only realized as they were finishing up the work  So the next day it was calibrated.  Jim, the general manager was trying to accommodate us by delivering the car to us, etc but unfortunately due to the restrictions on my credit card, I'd have to actually be present with the card to pay my deductible. I give him credit for trying.  As I'm driving it home, I realize the rearview mirror was barely screwed in. It was very wobbly and wouldn't stay where I put it. I talked to Jim when I got home and I told him my husband was bringing it back in tomorrow to be tightened.  (We could have done it ourself, but it was part of their job) This should have been done by the glass company but Caliber does give the final sign off. So both are to blame.  My husband takes the car in the morning to work and within 45 minutes of driving has a 10-12" crack across the windshield. I refuse to speculate if it was a mess up on someone's part or a rock. I know what I was told but I also know the glass company hadn't looked at it at that point. But my husband was taking it back for the rearview mirror anyway so we let them handle that replacement. Jim told me im text " we" would have to file a new claim for that. No where did he tell me I had to call to submit the claim or make any calls. This was a Thursday. On Friday, Jim tells me Monday the glass will be put in and that the glass company called me. No they didn't.  He is nice and set up a rental car for us at the shop rate until the car is ready for the 2nd time. It should be noted that Jim had the employees in his office ,when my husband came back for the rearview mirror and cracked windshield, with the door open giving everyone a verbal spanking. Apparently they promised a car ready for a customer that day and they didn't even have the part in handSo he said all communication has to be by text and only he talks to customers. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE HEARD THAT CONVERSATION. It shows  just how inept they can be.  Monday comes and the glass company couldn't install the windshield because I hadn't called the insurance company to file the claim. I scrambled and spent hours on the phone trying to get it straightened out. I did and the next day I got the car back with windshield #2 installed and calibrated.   Jim did pay for 2 days of the rental and that was greatly appreciated. A week later, my husband goes to leave for work at 3am and lo and behold the rear window defroster wasn't connected. Again another contact to Jim. He offers to come to my house to plug it in. After discussing it withy husband, we both decide to call the glass company since they're the one who disconnected it. They should have revonnected it The glass guy came out today, spent 5 minutes here and reconnected it. He told my husband there are lots of issues with that shop and their techs could and should have connected it as they put the inside of the roof panels back together. It was definitely a mixed bag dealing with Caliber. Collision and Bayside Glass. There were definite bright spots but also spots with horrible communication.  2 windshield replacements and the funny is I had roof damage and a few body dents from a tree branch falling on my car. The glass wasn't damaged. read more

I had a collision and the front panel needed to be replaced. They worked on it three times and each time I drove away it would begin to get loose. Now, for the fourth time it's falling off again and the last time they fixed it, I even called the managers and made them look at it to make sure it was properly done. I don't know what to do! read more

2 Star Experience: Quality of craftsmanship (3/5) combined with very weak management (1/5) drives my review. The delivery date was delayed twice with no justification for the service requested. Overall value was fair but offset by incremental rental car expenses. Will not bring business back to this shop. read more

Being in an accident can be incredibly stressful especially when it's not your fault. The crew at Caliber really went above and beyond to make the dreadful task of getting my car worked on less stressful. Smooth process from start to finish, I was updated on the status frequently enough to know what was going on and everyone from the front desk to my service advisor and the manager where friendly and attentive. read more

Second time dealing with Caliber Collision. Both times for rear end damage. Both times repairs were completed in less than 1 week. Both times car looked brand new, would never know it was damaged. It took over a month for my car to be repaired. It took 6+ months to even get it. On the way home, the car was making a noise. Took it back and they gad forgotten to remove tape after painting. Caliber Collision - Body Shops Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

Like most businesses these days, this shop has declined. I had a crease in a front fender which I turned in to Geico. Caliber has Geico plastered all over it and it is a "Geico recommended" facility. I was asked to bring in the car and drop it off on a certain day. I did so. Then they called and said I needed to sign an authorization for repairs BEFORE I received an estimate WHICH I HAD SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED. Florida law MANDATES that a written estimate be provided and approved before the work commences or that the customer specifically in the manner provided by statute waive the estimate. I did not execute such a waiver. Nor did the shop have the statutorily mandated sign posted advising consumer's of their rights. I assumed I was dropping off the car for the estimate and that it would be emailed or provided before repairs. Days later I was advised the repairs had commenced. I must note that Caliber has a rental car agent roaming the lot and encourages customers to rent a car during the repairs, while SIMULTANEOUSLY retaining many cars on the lot for days before starting repairs. Seems to be a scam to rent cars. TWO DAYS after beginning of repairs an estimate was provided. Then there was a dispute with Geico about the amount of the deductible and I advised the shop I had not approved the repairs. They said they would attempt to resolve the dispute with Geico, but went ahead with the repairs. There was no resolution with their partner Geico and I paid the bill. The repairs seem at first glance to be and they have a "warranty" but I will not do business with this shop again. Prior to this transaction I would have given them high marks for efficiency and quality. Not now. read more

After getting into a car accident they estimated the truck would be in for about a week. 11 days later we got it back and they were even friendly enough to pay for the rental for the extra weekend. At that point I would have given them five stars. Our rep was a nice guy Before leaving the lot I asked if we should do a drive along together to make sure it drives correctly and the representative told me it's not necessary because we have a lifetime warranty on the work. I drove the truck off the lot and immediately realized the steering wheel was extremely loose. Next day the representative from caliber told us to take the truck to his alignment guy who did our alignment. That guy said multiple people felt the steering wheel and said it was a normal amount of looseness. Meanwhile I'm driving the truck and it feels completely unsafe. So then caliber says take it to the Dodge dealership. now I'm annoyed and feel like I'm being blown off but I take it to the Dodge dealership. And they say: "Ram notes: John service desk; Louis ride along- he drove the truck, yes loose steering wheel, noticeable at all speeds more noticeable at high speeds, very noticeable when braking, steering wheel is lacking tension towards especially towards the right. Could be a spring in the steering wheel or something with tire/rotor(?). Couldn't diagnosis have to take to caliber to figure it out. But yes it is loose." This is the same truck both caliber and the pit stop gave a thumbs-up good to go after I spent over $5,000 of insurance money on the repairs. Will update with final review read more

Had to have some repairs made here after getting rear ended as they are a Geico repair center. I was a little leery at first being 1200 miles from home and how I would be treated. They did a great job with the repair. Customer service was awesome and I rec'd daily texts on the repair status. While I hope to never need their services again I wouldn't hesitate to use them and would definitely recommend them to a friend. read more

Ive taken two vehicles here. Both times the service was great. I am only giving two stars since it was the receptionist at 5:00pm. Just a word of advice make sure to provide excellent customer services to all consumers. Your receptionist refused to help me because I was young which was very bad call. That's okay a three star rating and going down more will not help you. John and the team did an outstanding job handling my vehicle. I took it in with damage to the front grill area from an accident. They went the extra mile and throughly checked everything. They even detailed my vehicle before I picked it up. They truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you John and team. read more

So here's the thing: it's like a year later and this time I--not my wife this time-- got into a collision 2k miles from home. My 2006 Acura was struck by a cartwheeling ATV that flew off a trailer that was towing it on the highway. Luckily, there was only damage to the right front bumper and fender. I brought the vehicle into Caliber where Quintin took care of my situation. He sent me daily updates via texts of the progress and I picked up the car one week later as good as new. Quintin went out of his way to ensure I got my vehicle back as soon as possible and in showroom condition when I picked it up. Geico and Caliber worked seamlessly to make what is usually a bad situation, a virtually painless experience. I recommend them highly. John Spillane read more

Terrible shop. Don't take your car there if you want the job done quickly and smooth. Never going here again

Went to Caliber for repairs after an accident. The repair estimate was about 10 days. They've now had my car for 51 days and all they can do is tell me they're working on it and they keep extending my pickup date. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I've used Caliper three times. Each time I have received professional service and quality repairs. I have an auto with them now. (Someone rear-ended me.) I own a business and we try to do the best we can all the time. But like all businesses we have workers out that day or someone is out of the office. This time when we went in we did have to wait about 15 minutes. It was not a problem. It happens. As far as their quality of repair, it's always great. read more

Worst collision place ever!! Do not take your car here ever!! They told me the car would be done Wednesday I waited 20 days they ordered the wrong bumper for the car and had their glass place mess up and have to come back days later. I have to sell this car and the interior is filthy. They did not put plastic on the seats or mats on the floor. They were very unprofessional and nasty when I told them I needed the car today. Save yourself weeks of waiting and go somewhere else. The only reason I went here is because it was the "express" facility apparently express means waiting for weeks and months. I had to take extra days off from work to go here only to find the car was still not ready. NEVER TRUST CALIBER COLLISION!! read more

The absolute worst place to take your car to. I decided to go with Caliber because they were a Geico certified repair shop and it was the worst mistake i have EVER made. I went to pick the truck up after received a phone call telling me it was ready for pickup.... when i arrived there the first thing i noticed is the back of my truck literally looked like it was spray painted, they did not sand it down and paint it for the repair they simply through some paint on my truck and called me to come get it. After pointing that out to the body shop manager, i then got in the truck and noticed neither one of my turn signals were working ( i was hit in the rear) The body shop manager got an attitude quickly and stated that they would fix the paint and look into the turn signal issue but he wasn't sure if the turn signals were due to the accident. (Both taillights were replaced) I assured him that before they repaired the truck that they were for sure working and it was most certainty from the repair work they did. A week later i received a phone call telling me the truck was ready for me to pick up. I arrived at caliber and checked out the truck, they had fixed the paint and it looked decent. I then asked the manager if the turn signals had been fixed and he paused and said they hadn't and it would be another week to do fix them and asked if i would come back. I took the truck (stupidly) and agreed to bring it back in a few days to "fix" the turn signals. I had the truck for less than a couple hours and it started driving funny.... felt like it was going to stall out and wouldnt you know as soon as i got to Brandon (45 mins from sarasota) for work the truck breaks down on the side of the road. My wife then had to call caliber and tell them to come get the truck. Note i am now missing more work because of this and my wife also had to leave to come get me. Caliber had my truck for a week in a half and called me said due to something with the four wheel drive is the reason my truck broke down and tried to charge me money.... (not true) i picked up my truck, took it to my work and literally the truck gets stuck in gear and will not reverse. My wife then calls calibers customer service to file a formal complaint and we take the truck BACK to caliber for the 3rd time. Caliber then realizes they are not capable of fixing my truck and sends it to a chevy dealer. A week and a half goes by and i hear nothing, so i call and inquire about where my truck is and i call the dealership they sent it to, to get an update. Of course when i call to get an update on my truck caliber failed to inform the dealership of what was going on with my truck and it had already been there for over a week and half. At this point we are a month out of me not my truck, it is still at the dealership and now they are saying something is wrong with the transmission and its not their fault. So not only has this place had my truck for a month but now i am expected to have to come off another $1500 to fix my truck because they are taking no responsibility. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR AWAY from this place... they are a bunch of crooks. read more

These guys and gals are wonderful to work with and did an amazing job on my husband's pick-up. I was rear ended while stopped at a light by a Geico insured. They referred me to their shop and stated they have a lifetime guarantee. I dropped off the vehicle and was provided a loaner. The damage was minor, a crack in the middle of the bumper. They fixed that area and repainted it and blended it back. The right side of the bumper was blended / painted over pre-existing scratches so it looks good, but they left a chip mark on the left and simply clear coated over it! I am embarrassed that they felt that this was good enough to present to a customer as a finished product. read more
