It's extremely difficult to come by customer service and the craftsmanship that Caliber Collision provides. Melissa went above and beyond for multiple steps of fixing the front end of my brand new truck. Stayed in contact, always had time for a phone call or a visit to view the progress, and send me photos throughout the entire process. Once I received my truck I was speechless, the level of effort that these techs put into their work is unrivaled. I would recommend ANYBODY to choose Caliber Collision. Excellent customer service and impeccable craftsmanship. Thank you Melissa and Caliber Collision!! read more

Caliber Collision is the place to go for any of your auto body needs. They helped make the process of having my car fixed stress free, easy and in a timely fashion. My advisor at Caliber, Luis was great. Having to get your car fixed after getting hit can be a headache of a situation (to say the least), but Luis and Caliber Collision help the process run so smoothly! Between the insurance company, to the rental car process, all came together with ease. Everyone was very accommodating. Brought my car in on Wednesday afternoon and had my car back to me by Friday. The work done to my car was amazing. It looks better then it did before I got hit. Very thankful to Luis and Caliber Collision for the great experience. read more

I recently had a driver back into the driver's side of my 2013 Toyota Corolla causing a large dent in the rear door. Anticipating a nightmare experience I brought the car into Caliber Collision in San Ramon. Much to my relief, I was greeted by an extremely professional and empathetic group of individuals. Shawni, the General Manager was very kind and understanding of what we were experiencing. Joe our Service Manager kept us informed of what was happening every step of the way. He even contacted my insurance agent to get answers to questions I had concerning my policy. Bottom line is the staff of Caliber Collision made a very traumatic event tolerable. If I could give them 6 stars I certainly would. read more

My car was side-swiped in my condo complex parking space. Gratefully, the person who did it left me a note, so I contacted my insurance company and they put me in touch with Caliber Collision. They were clear about what the costs would be (not to me, but they were clear anyway) and clear about how long I could anticipate my car being in the shop. I have my car back now and it looks great. So it all worked out well. read more

My recent experience with having body work repair completed was way beyond my expectations! From initial contact via a convenient online pre-survey of the damages, and my possible need for a rental car, through the first visit where the repair estimate was made and submitted for approval to my insurance company Caliber Collision took care of everything including daily text messages informing me about the progress through ordering necessary parts, tear down of parts to be removed and replaced, through painting while all the while welcoming questions at any time via the text message updates. Will not ever use this shop again. Inexperienced, unprofessional, and just trying to scam insurance companies for more money. Take your vehicle anywhere else. read more

I was recently involved in an automobile accident, and thankfully the damage to my car wasn't extensive, the car is a cherished 2001 Mercedes 500S. The damage included by rear view mirror, wheel and fender on the drivers side. The fender took the brunt of the damage. From my first meeting with the office at Caliber I was impressed, the positive reassurance that my car would be repaired completely and in a timely manner was very reassuring. Melissa walked me through the process, the timeline and put my mind at ease. I received daily texts keeping me updated and informed of the process, this was very helpful. I had never worked with a company that provided daily updates on the services they were providing. I was given a 5 day timeline and they met that timeline to the exact day! That's was I call service. I couldn't arrange with my family to take me to pick up the car, so Melissa arranged an Uber to pick me up and they paid for it!! The service was outstanding, my car is perfect, you would never know it was so damaged. I am a very happy, satisfied customer of Caliber Collision. read more

I had my passenger car window broken and some damage inside my BMW when someone attempted to break in to my car. I choose Caliber because of some of the impressive reviews. I am glad to say, I need to pile on the praise. Esther handled my claim and I felt like she was treating my car like it was her own, taking care of every detail, some which were not easily visible with broken glass all over the car. It did take a little longer than expected for the repair, but the quality is worth it, as every detail seems to have been repaired and perfectly cleaned. She stayed in touch throughout the process and was extremely professional. Thank You! read more

I had some work done on my car back in December. It came out looking like it was brand new and as if nothing ever happened. I was updated throughout the process and appreciated the customer service from start to finish. Months later I was contacted because of a mix up on my end with what I owed this company. Shawni was an absolute delight to work with. Normally hearing a call that you owe money isn't the most exciting thing. But Shawni's great nature and ability to help me understand where I want wrong was very much appreciated. She gave great customer service and helps make this company's reputation go a long way. I'm appreciative of my great looking repair and my service even after all was complete. read more

Not only did Melissa answer all of my questions & address my concerns, she was very friendly and understanding. I didn't feel like just another person/job here. I was treated no different than the person who brought in an expensive high-end car right before me. This is not the kind of place you'd want to visit frequently, but I'd go back here again if I ever needed this type of service. My car was repaired In only 2.5 days! She looks and runs like new. So glad my insurance company suggested this body shop. I highly recommend it! read more

After going to a place in Castro Valley to get my car fixed I was left with an improperly fixed car and more damages. During my struggle with them I had to take it back 10 times to try to get them to fix it right. I was very worried that there was still many things wrong and although that shop is contracted with AAA they refused to do it right. AAA then suggested Caliber Collision to me. When I spoke with them they were extremely nice and helpful when going over my car with me. The lady I worked with didnt just hand me the sheet of damages, she actually went around my entire car explaining what she saw and the possibilities of what would need to be done. They fixed over $500 in damages from the most recent accident and over $5k of damages from the prior accident that the other shop never did right. Caliber Collsion did a full car inspection making sure nothing was missed. On top of all the amazing work they did, I was updated throughout the entire process which was very much appreciated. When I got my car back I was amazed. I didnt even recognize my car it looked better than new. Caliber Collision gave me the best repair experience I ever had and would 100% recommend and go to them again. read more

So this is about 10 days late but here ya go, my vehicle was broken into and vandalized in sf, progressive suggested caliber and I went along, the work that was done looks ok the paint has a lot more orange peel than it should though. The real issue is that after getting my vehicle the front turn signal no longer works in the side the disassembled and repaired kinda weird that would leave your shop like that, next I noticed sanding dust everywhere in my vehicle even in the center console, and I'm not talking a little dust it was bad, and the last thing was discovering all the broken glass they supposedly cleaned up, it was still in my seat and floor. Very disappointed, when I contacted caliber they said to bring it back, no thanks, I would not let them work on my vehicle again if given the chance. So they got 6k from progressive and $500 from me and left my truck dirty inside with lots of broken glass to clean up plus a broken turn signal ! Thanks caliber read more

I was involved in a minor accident with damage to my rear bumper. Because of the scratches I was not able to tell if there was damage to the clear coat or the paint, and since the accident was not my fault I decided to have it looked at by a professional. I had intended on taking my car to Cook's based on a recommendation from a friend, so was happy to hear that Caliber (formerly Cook's) was the preferred collision center of the other person's insurance company. I was able to get an appointment quickly for the appraisal which is when I met Melissa. She was very professional and clearly knowledgeable about her business. Long story short, there was no damage to the bumper itself or the paint. Everything could be buffed out by their detailing department. So happy to see there are still companies that know how to provide excellent service and are honest about their business. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing a collision center, I would highly recommend you take your vehicle to Caliber. read more

My 2007 Tacoma truck's roof was rusted (bad factory paint job) and I had a dent in my tailgate. I had my truck's damages estimated by a repair shop in Dublin originally as I did not know this place existed. When I finally had the money together to get it repaired I then discovered this shop which was so much more convenient for me as I live in San Ramon. I brought my truck in on a Monday and their estimate beat the Dublin estimate. I left my truck with them and was contacted three days later and advised that all of the work was done and that they were able to do it cheaper than the initial estimate I agreed to. They did a beautiful job repainting the roof and the tailgate was fixed to my satisfaction. All of the personnel at Caliber Collision were professional and friendly and, should I need repair work in the future, I would gladly go back here again. Thanx so much, especially Melissa read more
