I first came here years ago when somebody scraped the fender of my car. I initially didn't want to go with a Caliber Collision location but they were what was recommended by the insurance company. Much like when someone asks "Who has the best burgers?", nobody ever answers "McDonald's". They just happen to be the big chain with more name recognition. Reluctantly, I went ahead with them anyway. When I received my car back, it was almost as if they had performed magic and the scrape had completely disappeared. Absolutely had a great experience here. They worked with the insurance company and got my car back to brand new condition. I dropped my car off, Enterprise pricked me up and gave me a rental. Upon return, I was able to just bring back the rental to Caliber Collision and they worked with Enterprise to return it for me. So it was really smooth to drop my car off for repairs and pick/drop off my rental from here. Alex was my case manager. He kept me informed on all the parts and work in progress. Really easy to work with and you can tell he really wants to help. Because of the supply chain issues, he scheduled the repairs for approximate parts delivery. Appreciate him being considerate of my time. Once it was time to drive off in my newly repaired car, my key fob wouldn't work and wouldn't allow me to start the car. I also noticed a portion of my fender had been cut out and horrible patched. It has been ongoing since April. The catalytic converter was stolen from my car and Geico had me get it fixed through Caliber. We mostly worked with Eric, who really went above and beyond to help us get this fixed. Recognizing that there is a huge demand for catalytic converters and a shipping backlog, Eric worked with us to get all the parts info beforehand so that he could make sure that everything arrived in time for our appointment. The day of our actual appointment was super painless- just dropped the car off in the morning and it was done before 5pm! I had repairs on my back bumper after I was involved in a hit and run. My service provider, Brett, did an excellent job. I was able to drop my car off on a Monday morning, they called enterprise on my behalf and had my rental car meet me the same time I dropped my car off. I received daily updates through text about the status of my repairs and had my car returned to me sooner than their estimated completion date. When I came back to pick up my car, caliber allowed me to drop my rental car off with them, saving me trip to Enterprise. I was also pleasantly surprised that my car had been vacuumed and wiped down before I got it back. Very satisfied with their service and would recommend to others. read more

If you care about "after care" work DO NOT go here! These people does not care to live up to their promise. I have a 2015 Toyota Camry that was involved in a minor collision which they repaired and replaced one of the headlight. I had replaced the standard bulb (yellowish in color) with an after market bulb that cost $75 prior and they just threw it away and put in a standard headlight. These people was so careless to check to make sure that the replaced headlight matches the other side and of course I picked up the car during the day so didn't noticed the difference until 2 days later. When I brought this up to Caliber's attention, they had me drove to their shop so they can check the headlight. Matt asked that I send him the link where I purchased the bulb so they can put in an order for me since he couldn't find any at the auto store that matches. A week later still nothing, even with a follow-up text. So I called Caliber back and this time was told that Matt is no longer with Caliber and was transferred to "Eric" which he promised that they wanted to resolved the issue, again asked that I send the link to his personal cell #916 291-2268. I explained to him I would take a lesser cost bulb (-$25) since my initial bulb was no longer available. He never texted back. I again called Caliber 3days later and confirmed with Michele if I got the correct cell #, she said yes and will have Eric call me back. Now 3 weeks later still nothing. I wish I never went here because not only did they finished the repair 2 weeks late, it also cost me $75 dollar extra plus my time and energy trying to chase after an empty promise. When I'm feeling better I will call my insurance to file a complaint too since this shop is a contracted shop, 4220 Stockton Blvd. read more

Our vehicle was involved in an accident in November. Our insurance company had a list of auto body repair shops we could choose from to bring our vehicle in for an estimate. We notice that this Caliber Collision was on the list Three years ago our 2nd vehicle was hit in the rear end. We read the reviews at the time and thought this would be a good place for repairs. We were satisfied with the repairs. Fast forward three years and we decided to go to them again. Big Mistake! Quite a few of the same people were still there. The only friendly face was the front desk receptionist. We were told it could take a week or two before they could take it in to do the estimate for the insurance company. It was driven all around Sacramento for over a week for work. We didn't have any problems with it that whole time. We got the call to bring it in We were told they would keep us informed of the process up to the time the estimate was sent to the insurance company. This was a lie. After almost a week I called Caliber and my phone call went to the manager, Eric. He made every excuse in the book as to why we weren't receiving communication from them and why it was taking sooo long to complete the estimate. He promised me that we would get updates from then on, which never happened. we had to call our adjuster for updates on our vehicle. The estimate was sky high. The insurance company totaled the vehicle we drove for over a week with no mechanical problems. We were given the choice of taking the payout or having it fixed with a salvaged title. The vehicle was 19 years old with only 90,000 miles. It was well maintained. Thanks to the extremely high estimate from Caliber Collision we had no other choice but to take the payout. Replacing the pickup was no easy task in the pandemic. Used vehicles were in short supply and almost twice as much for a used vehicle from the pre-pandemic time. We were not pleased with any portion of the process from Caliber Collision on Stockton Blvd. The company overall has gotten too big! They could care less about their customers. I found the manager, Eric, to be all talk and no follow through on his promises. Poor management in my opinion. If your insurance company suggests this location- run!! You need to get one or two estimates from other shops. It's your right. read more
