On July 21, 2024 someone slammed into the back of my vehicle when my parents and I were at a stoplight. After filing a claim through their insurance company, I shopped around for an auto body repair shop. I checked some reviews online and Caliber Collision at 1319 Capital Blvd stood out. From the moment I called and spoke to Tammy on the phone, I knew without a doubt that this was the right repair shop for me. Tammy was very professional and cordially answered all of my questions. Within 24 hours I received a return phone call from Caliber with the earliest available dates for the start of my repair. On the day I took my vehicle into the shop, I was pleasantly greeted by Tammy who gave me a brief explanation of the process. Tammy also arranged for the rental car to be delivered to the shop. This was a huge convenience for me. I was very appreciative of this benefit. I was then introduced to my Service Advisor, Chris. Chris greeted me with a smile. He has a good sense of humor and lightened the mood before we went to take a look at the damages to my vehicle. Chris did a thorough visual inspection of the damages to my vehicle. He explained the next steps and gave me an idea of what to expect with regards to communication and the receipt of updates on my vehicle repair. I spoke to Chris a couple times, and I received consistent updates via text messaging which was beneficial. It took one week and two days for my vehicle repair to be completed. I picked up my vehicle today. My vehicle repair was done exceptionally well. My vehicle looked as if I was never in an accident. Chris was very patient as I checked some of the parameters and features of the vehicle to ensure everything was in good working order. I am totally impressed by the customer service and workmanship at Caliber. I was treated with respect and as a valued customer by all staff that I encountered and was kept informed on the status of my repair. An added convenience was the ability to pick up and drop off the rental car at Caliber making it a true one stop shop. I highly recommend this location for any auto body repair work on your vehicle. I had damaged the front bumper of my Lexus. I damaged it after sliding on ice and hitting a sign. The bumper had cracks in it and it was even coming off the side hinges above the tires. USAA recommended Caliber Collision so that's who I went with. When I came back to get my car it looked brand new. They did such an amazing job I asked Tammy if Harry Potter fixed it because it looked so good. Everyone was really kind and they kept me up to date through calls and texts almost daily. They even had awesome snacks for customers and my inner chubby kid was going crazy. I am beyond satisfied with the quality and value of service I was offered. read more

If you value your vehicle and want an honest estimate, go elsewhere! They declared my car a total for items not even included in the claim that I had no knowledge needed repairing. Now I have a car in excellent mechanical condition, that can be driven without any safety issues that was deemed a total loss because they did not want to invest the time, contract with a provider for interior work, or getting parts that were needed to be shipped from afar. so I listen to my insurance company USAA and I took my 2004 jaguar because my trunk was damaged caliber collision said the bumper needs to be replaced as well and the total was over $2500 which the insurance company wanted the total the car but the car is in pristine shape with a new engine new clutch new electric moonroof, new brakes, new tires and runs absolutely perfect but now they wanted to total the car which is a big issue now all the jaguar really needed was $795 for a recycled trunk and that is installed price and that price is from jaguar in Cary, so if you take your vehicle there to collision caliber hold onto your socks as they will totally inflate what you truly need to have done and overcharge you twice or three times as much ,shameful pricing, very overvalued and inept valuation read more

The manager talks as though he really wants to help with getting your vehicle back on the road. However, once you leave the establishment, it's a different ballgame. If you want a total loss vehicle, this is the place for you. Use them at your own risk. Take pictures, lots of pictures, you may just need them in the future. Request a copy and read the estimate sheet. Ask lots of questions about the repairs needed. Hold on to your estimate sheets because you may need it in the future. North Carolina total loss law is 75 percent. If you are in the 60's, they may total loss your car although you are not at 75 percent. Good luck if you decide to use them after all! read more

I only wish I could give them half a star for service. I brought my Mercedes Benz ml350 for rear bumper replacement from an accident. They knew nothing about my vehicle. They had no idea how many batteries were in it. They forced all error codes to pass. Two days after I picked my truck up, I started having serious issues with all codes to the point my truck needed to be towed which cost me $260 after repair. And today, it is back in the shop for the very same reason. They knew all the sensors in the bumper needed to be checked by Mercedes but I was advised not to bring it there because I would be responsible for all expenses. I drove 2 hours to this shop because it had great reviews, now I am wondering if it is the employees at this shop who are writing their own reviews. I WILL NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE TO THIS BODY SHOP AGAIN. I went Raleigh NC shop. July 15, 2022. Thanks to this body shop, my Benz has been in and out of the mechanic shop and it has costed me over $2,000.00 to date. This body shop has no idea what they are doing and should stick with low end car and stay away from HIGH END vehicles like Mercedes Benz. Wire issues, sensor issues, etc, etc, etc. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Poor attitudes and bad business. read more

I went to Caliber Collision in Ellisville. I have a white Infiniti and I have had a key scratch on my car for six months. It looks pretty bad and It has been bothering me. I stopped in Caliber Collision with no appointment. A nice young man came out to my car and was going to give me a quote to repaint my car and repair the key scratch. He was taking pictures of my car and asked me if I was going to turn it into insurance. I said no. He felt the scratches and said "Hang on" and went inside, came back out with paint thinner on a rag and rubbed the scratches right off. I was blown away and asked him if I could send him a Venmo. He said no, we are here to help people and not rip then off, and to please write a review. So thank you for your honesty. read more

After having some damage to my vehicle Caliber and they're amazing team took care of my baby. They're work was exceptionally done and they stayed in touch with me throughout the process. They even made the transition to my rental and the return of the rental effortless. Not considerate of your time or their wormanship. Had a fender bender this past February and things still are not fixed properly and it's December now. First go around the rear lower bumper was visibly not straight. When I complained about I was told "well that is good as it gets and they didn't see any thing wrong". Luckily a manager looked and did say it was warped. They finally replaced it months later after I repeatedly had to follow up with them. When they replaced it the second time they left off sensor rings and a week later the lower bumper started to separate. They also misplaced storage blocks in the trunk that had nothing to do with the repair. They had to reorder those as well. Once again months later and only after me following up multiple times did I get them to attempt to repair it again. The icing on the cake is I had an appointment today 12/08/23 at 8:00am to have it fixed for the third time only to be told the only repair technician who could work on my car isn't scheduled to work until 8:30am. So if you value your time, want things done correctly, and have technicians who actually pay attention to details you should definitely go somewhere else. Adding insult to injury they really push hard for you to give them 5 stars as soon as you pickup your car. Don't fall for that like I did. Give it some time before you reviews these guys to make sure the work was done correctly. Now I have to come back yet again next Wednesday to hopefully have things repaired yet again bc they don't know how to schedule. read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS! State Farm recommended this as a preferred shop after my vehicle was damaged and they were so bad I am changing insurances. The first time I picked up my vehicle after a minor cosmetic repair to the bumper a piece of plastic trim came off my car while travelling down 440 and it was a lucky thing that an accident was not caused. They ordered the replacement parts and when they arrived I was given a rental and told me they would fix the issue in a day or two... 6 days later I go to pick up me vehicle and see that the trim piece was still improperly installed. Finally, on the 7th day of a repair for what should have been a 1 day job, my car was restored to pre-accident condition. Just when I thought the ordeal was over I see that Enterprise charged me for the rental and I had to get back on the phone and dispute that. Horrible customer service, techs take shortcuts, and are incompetent to the point of being dangerous. read more

I came in for a quote on a limestone removal on my paint. I had been quoted across the board in the lower $50s-$70s but decided to try out one more shop. I met with Alan, who took the time to try and buff it out while we were talking about what caused it (leak from the roof of my apartment complex). Before I knew it he had taken it right off! He shook my hand and I left without a dime paid. Very friendly and courteous staff. They did an amazing job fixing my wife's Acura with regular updates on the status of the repairs.

Due to an accident, I had to take my car into caliber collision for an estimate. The individual who hit my car carries Nationwide insurance and this is where they sent me. Everyone at reception was nice but the woman who wrote my estimate was not friendly to the point where she came across as rude. She asked if I was going to get my car repaired with them and when I told her I was not sure yet, I just wanted the estimate and the check to be sent to me, she immediately acted like she didn't care. She told me she was only going to write me for the bumper and a tail light and that if I chose to go anywhere besides their shop, I would probably have to pay more. I felt like their estimate was super low as a way to try to get me to go with their shop and I was right. I took my car to two other body shops for comparison and a lot of the damage that they saw, caliber collision didn't even write on my estimate. The other two throughly inspected my car and took at least 15 minutes with it. The woman at caliber spent less than 5 minutes and was done. The other two estimates both came in at almost $1000 more than what caliber said, due to damage found that they didn't write. I have had work done at a different caliber collision location before and was pleased but I would never recommend this location to anyone and would advise people to go elsewhere if you want an honest estimate. read more

I was involved in an accident with my BMW 435i xDrive GranCoupe. The vehicle initially looked in ok condition however upon further inspection by the Caliber Team the total came out to be about $17K throughout the 1.25 months repair, Justin kept me updated at least 2x a week and was very polite and helpful , he was also very organized and well coordinated with BMW which did all the mechanical repairs. At Pickup, Justin was there to help and deliver the car personally to me. I had some more items to be fixed which he was happy to do, even with my OCD nature and extreme attention to detail he wasn't frustrated with me and was happy to help. Now about a week later there are some items I noticed in the car the needed to be worked out which is understandable considering the complexity of the repairs done. I called him up first thing this morning and he gladly agreed to look at the car and made sure that I'll be provided a loaner till my repairs are complete. I'm very happy with the service so far and would work with them again. Justin has made the entire process clean and simple which is greatly appreciated. Derek Black was my service person and I hate the day I took someone's advice on choosing this place to repair my vehicle. My vehicle was there a week when the insurance called me to ask why I had not signed the form for them to start repair. I had signed the form and emailed the form to Morgan right after they received my car but they had not looked, or she apparently had not let Black know. The next week I was told there was trouble figuring out what bumper my vehicle needed, even though I had told the advisor that I put the bumper in the trunk in the event it was needed. Anyway!, I was told they were Mercedes Benz Certified. These things should have let me know there were going to be problems with this place. These people had my vehicle over two months and I was never informed of the progress of the repair. Once I did pick up my vehicle, I had a post repair inspection by another business that found there was a broken part that should have been replaced, brackets and bolts that were not replaced on top, bottom and side my bumper. I could literally shake my grill off with little or no effort at all. The paint had defects on both fenders and the hood, as well as the air conditioning making noise that it did not make before. I ended up calling the insurance company back to get them to to get Caliber to speak to me, Black would not answer my calls or tell me when I could get my vehicle. The manager ended up taking over but my car stayed even longer. My vehicle still makes the noise. I was under the impression that my vehicle was to be repaired to the previous condition. Since it is as they said "only a noise" they are under no obligation to repair it, regardless of how annoying it is to drive around? Ridiculous! Well, at this point I do not even trust Caliber and I will have to pay someone else to figure this out. I strongly recommend that NO ONE uses this place for any repair. If I could give this place a zero review , I certainly would. Again, if you do choose to get repairs here and you are assigned Derek Black as your person, I'm sorry for you. He should be ashamed of himself and Caliber should as well for allowing this kind of treatment. I feel strongly wronged in my situation. I feel I made a terrible decision and I greatly regret it. BJ It's been several months and I have tried several mechanics since and none want to even touch or try to correct the noise problem since Caliber previously worked on my car. I cannot explain how irritating it is to have to listen to this noise while driving, but it is a Mercedes and I can't just throw it away. It is indeed a shame when consumers who spend their hard earned money have to suffer because of a business that's does shady work. Tried bringing them some business from where a young teenage driver backed into the side of my parked car. Front receptionist was cold, rude and unhelpful. I brought my car by at 11 and was told that the entire estimating staff was on lunch until 1 o'clock. Keep in mind this is a small ding a bit of touch up work. I have gone through other calibers in the triangle in the past and my experience at this location was WILDLY different than every other CC I've been too. Avoid at all costs. read more

Unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. Our Audi was there for a simple bumper repair estimate at the recommendation of the Leith Audi dealership. Caliber Collision was broken into and our car , which had been left unlocked , along with five other cars was vandalized and stripped.....how convenient! The stereo, the subwoofers, the amplifier, my ray bans and my gps were all stolen . The center console was ripped completely out. Not only did Caliber assume no responsibility, they had the audacity to say that they did us a favor leaving it unlocked as the thieves would have probably broken out the window if it had been locked. They acted like if they ignored us, it would go away. There were no apologies or offers to see if they could help in any way. They completely looked the other way. If this is the customer service you like, then by all means, take your car there for repairs and shame on you Audi for recommending a company with such poor customer service. read more

I recently had body work done on my Volvo. I was nervous, my car is relatively new and I worried about the quality of work. I bi-passed the from desk and worked with David. He is fantastic. He offered to come to my work for the estimate since the damage was superficial. He sent texts instead of calls because it was easier for me to correspond this way. I asked a lot of questions and he had answers. He was patient and thorough and turns out I had little to worry about because the work was great. If you liked Haddock Collision - they were excellent- David was Haddock employee. I have referred one person to Caliber/David already and their exprience mirrored my own. Excellent customer service that started with a phone call and prompt appt. scheduling. Caliber's response time and comfortable amenities don't put their prices out of proportion. Justin popped my bumper back in place and secured a light on the front end of my Prius quickly while I waited for about 15 minutes drinking coffee and eating popcorn. The entire passenger side of my Highlander was damaged by a deer. Caliber did an excellent job repairing the body of the Highlander. During the repair process it was discovered that the passenger side curtain airbag needed to be replaced, the tech responsible for removing and replacing the headliner did a very poor job. When I was told my vehicle was ready I found headliner several dirty spots, 2 pieces of inside trim were scratched so bad they needed to be replaced, one of the two headliner fasteners was actually missing. After taking it back the scratched and missing parts were replaced. The headliner was to be cleaned, an attempt was made, when I got the car home, I had to clean 5 spots myself. read more
