Not only did I have to bring my car back to them to fix their mistakes, I was told it would only take 2 days and did not get my car back until 3 weeks later and the car looked WORSE. My insurance company managed to tow away my vehicle to Caliber Collision Mullica Hill, NJ. At Caliber, woman namely Heather was extremely disrespectful, and rude. Secondly, quality of work done by them was of a substandard, rather unacceptable quality. Resultantly, I had to seek intervention of the Shop Admin of the insurance company. Although I am still not satisfied with the work, I took delivery of my vehicle half-heartedly. I am very much disappointed and would like to advise people not to use Caliber Collision Mullica Hill, NJ due to their rude behavior and bad quality of work. Had minor rear bumper damage to a Toyota Tacoma, Caliber did the repair and the bumper stuck out on the side that was not hit. It was a bad installation job that they blamed on non OEM parts so I got my insurance company to provide OEM parts. The truck is still not right, but I give up since they don't seem to have the ability or care to make it right. I will have to fix it myself. I have more body work to have done, not going back there, which is disappointing since they are close by. **** Update: You can see Caliber Collision Corporate reached out to me on here offering to help, but they never responded to my email to them. It is disappointing, I was hopeful they would make this whole situation right. All I can say is, don't use them as your body shop. read more

After a fender bender we took our vehicle to the Mullica Hill location since we had a good experience with a different location. Big mistake. What should have been a simple 1 week repair(max!) was over a month. They changed the pickup date 6+ times and provided inaccurate and false information each time they texted an update. Excuse after excuse. When we were told the car was ready, it had gaps where the headlights meet the bumper, the check engine light was still on, the AC was no longer working and the under mount bolts were laying on the dashboard(along with the snack wrapper from a tech). 3 days later we attempted to take delivery again, the bumper still wasn't right, and the check engine light was still on. It's mind boggling they would say the car was ready and expect us to take the car-TWICE!! We told them the code and what the issue was and they couldn't get it right. This is a vehicle that had gone through their "rigorous" quality control process TWICE, but they didn't catch any of that? Zero quality control and shoddy workmanship top to bottom. I wouldn't take my bike here to have it repaired, one star is generous. read more

Recently brought my BMW in after I was rear ended (yes I know now to go right to BMW). The initial process was easy on my end because the other parities insurance was taking care of everything. There wasn't extensive damage, mostly bumper, tailgate and exhaust. It took about three weeks to repair. When I went to pick it up everything looked great. When I got it home I realized there was a loud rattling noise when I pulled into the driveway. I asked my finance to check it out and he determined it was the exhaust. While he was under there he also noticed that the underside of the bumper and the heat shield still had the original damage from the accident. Bumper was still cracked and heat shield was crumbled in the accident and it appeared they just tried to bend it back. We also noticed that the tailgate buttons weren't working properly. So four things in need of repair. I called and brought it back in and again they were very nice and a gentleman walked outside and checked the car out with me. He said the exhaust was a part defect and cracked bumper and heat shield were one piece and he would order a replacement and take care of it. No answer for why it wasn't repaired to begin with. I guess they didn't expect me to look underneath. Also blamed the open and close buttons being wired wrong as a BMW part defect. I'm not sure if that's true but he said he would call BMW immediately and get back to me the next morning at the LATEST. No call. Over a week went by and I called to see what was going on. No one knew. The gentleman that I spoke with and was waiting for a return phone call from wasn't available. I was placed on hold for a while and they came back and said when can you drop it off we have to bring it to BMW to get 'worked on'. She claimed she left me a message, I triple checked my call log and voicemails and nothing. Don't take your vehicle here. I'm going to BMW myself now because I have zero faith in Caliber. It was a long, drawn out, frustrating process and I'm driving around a BMW that rattles like a tin can! read more

I was extremely frustrated because I did not receive my car when I was expecting it. But it wasn't calibers fault, just like everything else in this country, There are problems with the supply chain, and I am simply a victim of that! I stopped in this morning and they are trying hard to do whatever they can to get the part delivered. After that it will be a simple procedure and I will be able to drive away. The people who work there, by the way, are lovely and if I am ever unfortunate enough to need body work done again I will not hesitate to use them! read more

When I took the vehicle in for an estimate, I was impressed with the company, everything was explained and I had no trouble making the decision to have them provide the repair work. The vehicle, a 2015 GMC 3500 pickup, was dropped off and Caliber was given authorization to proceed. Five days later, after the damaged area had been completely disassembly, we received a call that there was an error in the part pricing, in their data base, and the new part required was twice the cost; they also found some hidden damage and there was an increase to purchase that part. I have no issue with the hidden damage but expressed my dissatisfaction in the fact that THEIR and THEIR suppliers data bases were not up to date and we were responsible for the increase not to mention the fact that we find it difficult to believe that a part (bed side panel) would increase in price, almost 100%, seemingly overnight. Of course the truck was already disassembled so there was no real choice other than to authorize them to proceed. Had the discussion occurred at an earlier point, we would have had the option of talking to another body shop or part supplier. i will offer that the work appears to be well done but an overall estimate increasing by a significant amount is a problem. NOT HAPPY WITH CALIBER; CHECK AND VERIFY YOUR ESTIMATE PRIOR TO AUTHORIZING REPAIRS!!! read more

Background: took Kia sedan to caliber for repairs after a fender bender accident on 76. Bottom line: never using this company again. The good: mechanics and body work technicians performed well and the car looked nice when received. When rear power windows didn't work after we took the car home, they managed to fix it within a few hrs the next morning without complaint. The bad: the quoting process took 6 working days (six!). Dropped it off on a Friday and didn't have an estimate until the following Friday. When we received an update email notifying us the quoting was complete, all that was provided was a date (which was 3 weeks away!) without any written quote. A day and a half later, I finally call to get the quote and received pushback from the representative because I didn't think they should have started working on the vehicle until I saw the quote. He told me that's not how it works, the paper I signed when I brought it in authorized them to do whatever they wanted, regardless if the quote was received. This isn't true, because the clause clearly states "A service Representative will provide you with a written/oral evaluation" (which never would have happened if I didn't call). Generally just a very poor customer service experience with this company which unfortunately overshadowed the good mechanical and body work. read more

We stopped at Caliber Collision because we were driving down the road on our way home from a mini-vacation, and our car started making an excruciating noise like something was dragging under the car. We pulled into the parking lot, and my husband went in to see if anyone could help. Out came 2 employees who worked there, and they immediately went into troubleshooting mode. Then a third employee joined them to help us out. They ended up pulling it into the garage to pull the tire off since that is where the noise was coming from. In the end, we left there with the noise gone (it was a stone stuck in the brakes), and extremely happy to be back on the road. It was such a simple fix in the end, but they were so helpful. You hear those stories about mechanics taking advantage of people being in a tough spot, and they proved that they are NOT them. Highly recommend their services!!! read more
