Blake contacted me quickly and, after checking out a photo of the damage, gave me all the technical issues around a dent near a door handle. I appreciated the in-depth explanation. He gave me a quote of $175 but cautioned that he might not be able to do anything without removing the door handle which might lead to a higher cost or even mean he couldn't do the job in which case he wouldn't change me even for the mobile visit. We set an appointment for between 9 AM and 12 PM on a Tuesday. He called at 9:43 AM to let me know I was next and then showed up at around 11:00 AM. We consulted and I moved the car from the street to the driveway in the back. About 45 minutes later, he was finished. The job dealt with some of the issues he described but he still got most of the dent out - one would really have to be looking for the imperfection to find it and that's with a black car that shows damage a lot more easily than a lighter color. He knocked the price down to $125 because of this and because what he did do was not as difficult or time-consuming as he feared and did so without me asking and took my debit card as payment. He was prompt and friendly, and was great at communicating the whole time. Then he did a good job and came in with a lower price than was estimated. Not sure how much more you can ask for. Had the unfortunate incident where I got a door ding on my 2 month old Toyota RAV4 on the rear passenger panel. You can see in the pictures its small, but sure if the car was a few years old, I wouldn't be so upset, but its a two month old car. I found about Dent Tekniks on yelp, saw the reviews and pictures, and then checked out a local auto body shop and decided to go with Blake @ Dent Tekniks after our call. He went over some options to get the dent out. Maybe glue pull might have work, or drill thru door jam and pop, or maybe pop out taillight and pop out, or go thru the wheel wheel and try the pop there. I decided to go with the wheel well option due to the probability of success rate because of where the dent was located and the least noticeable plug. Well, I can't be more satisfy. The dent is out, no visible paint waves, the dent is gone, and I can't see the plug where the tool had to go in to pop it. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, Blake will be my first call. At long last an honest car repair/dent business. I sent some photos to Blake and got an estimate. Upon arrival, he looked at the dent and said he could get most of it out, but not all due to the nature of the dent. He lowered his price from the estimate and asked if I wanted it done. Then he fixed 90% of the dent. He also fixed a couple of small dents on the hood, and put some touch up paint on it, since my car was the same color as his. He was not satisfied with the way the repair looked, even though I was happy with it, and then he dropped the cost of the repair down again, to half of the estimate. Is the repair perfect? Amazing job by Blake! After getting my three week old car washed I noticed a dent right when I got home. The car wash would not take any responsibility so I had to take things into my own hands. Blake was very responsive and walked me through the whole process before coming to my home. Since the dent was located in a really tough spot (edge of roof by windshield), he recommended glue pulling to remove the dent. These guys are great. I usually take good care while driving and parking but unfortunately, I received an unsightly door ding in a busy parking lot at work (now I opt to park far). I called up a couple a couple high-rated PDR places and settled on Dent Tekniks based on location (mobile service) and pricing.
