An uninsured driver plowed into the back of my SUV at a light causing significant damage in Dallas the week before my planned move to Oklahoma. Caliber Collision in Dallas made the necessary repairs to my car and after getting it back I noticed the back lift gate would only open sporadically and then stopped altogether rendering the trunk area unusable. I reached out to Caliber and due to my schedule they put me in touch with the Caliber in Moore, Ok as it was now closer to me. The manager in Moore is James Light. He immediately ordered a new trunk latch and contacted me when it came in. I took my car in to the Moore location the Friday after Thanksgiving and he personally installed the new latch and noticed a few anomalies that were missed in the initial repair from the Dallas location. He brought them to my attention and scheduled with me to have them repaired correctly at his location at no charge. He understood my new work schedule is very limiting in free time so he offered to put me in a rental car, at no charge, while they complete the repair. I was involved in a hit and run last October and USAA recommended I have my SUV taken to Caliber Collision in Moore to have the damage fixed. Once I went to pick up my car, I immediately noticed the remote start wasn't working anymore. I went ahead and took my car and USAA sent out a third-party to check out the issue in November. In December, I reached out to USAA to ask if there were any updates and was told to wait. Somewhere, someone dropped the ball and I waited over 6 months before reaching out again. At this point USAA decided that the remote start was unrelated and they were not going to help and were done with my car. James at Caliber Collision had been involved with the issues and realized I'd waited a really long time for my car insurance to basically tell me to kick rocks. James absolutely went above and beyond and ordered the part needed to make my car work, paid for a rental car, and worked tirelessly to get me taken care of at no charge to me and with no reimbursement from USAA. Someone scratched up my car trying to park next to it. I brought it to Caliber at the suggestion of the insurance company handling the claim. They got my car in very fast and explained the whole process to me. They helped figure out some issues with the car rental company and were all very friendly during the whole process. Can't thank Caliber Collision enough for their work on my Mazda 3. They replaced the front bumper, headlight housing, and left fender. They blended the paint perfectly, and even fixed a rear backup sensor that wasn't even part of the damage. They really go out of their way to see that you are taken care of.
