They did an exceptional job on the repairs and let me know that their repairs have a warranty. Well....something happened with the sensor in the area where my vehicle was repaired and so I took it back to Caliber Collision. Avoid this place like the plague. My wife dropped off her car there for a fender bender. I went to pick her up and one of their employees pulled out of a parking space, going forward and hit my car as I was driving in front of him. This started a 2 month ordeal. They originally indicated they would take care of everything. But they kept trying to return the car to me with misaligned boddy panels, lose trim, chipped paint, paint smudge, etc. i attempted to pick up my car 5 times just to have them fix it again each time due to the extremely shoddy workmanship. They eventually had to send it to another one of their locations in North Miami. I thought the car was finally fixed but I discovered today that the passenger door is scraping against the fender they replaced which chipped the paint in the door. Oh, and my wife's car. They returned it with a completely misaligned bumper. Anyhow, avoid this place at all cost and I wish I could give then negative stars. read more

Would recommend a homeless guy to do your body work before these people! Customer service is absolutely horrible! If you complain to the manager she will put you on hold and then hang up on you!! My car had wrong parts put on it! "Driver side mirror was totally different " after everything was done, I noticed stuff missing that wasn't missing before the work was done! My rim was bent be on repair! But they put like 12 wights to balance my rim!! Safety hazard!! They will cut corners to keep the cost down just enough so your vehicle won't be totaled so they can collect a check from the insurance company!! read more

horrible customer service they lost parts on my vehicle, taking it apart and putting it back together. I went into the office the next day to talk about my vehicle and the damages the accident caused. I walked into the office and overheard a bunch of guys in an office, talking shit about me and all the concerns that I had on my vehicle yet they had no idea what they were doing. I pulled my car from the dealership and when I got it back more parts and more damages were caused after I took it to them. they were extremely unprofessional, and I would not suggest them to anyone. read more

Theft on Caliber property My insurance recommended Caliber so I brought my car in. It was deemed worth less than the repairs and a sticker put on the windshield. I wanted my car back. I don't know what all happened with my insurance, Caliber and the company that was going to get my "total loss" car but when I went to pick up my car it was ransacked. Glove compartment, center console, dash console, my server apron, they were all gone through. The nickels, dimes and quarters in my center console were taken, over $30. I understand not leaving anything valuable in your vehicle but there wasn't anything valuable in my glove compartment or anywhere else. The theft doesn't really bother me, the going through my stuff does. I've taken many vehicles many places (repair shop, car wash, garage, valet), etc...) and this is a first. So, when Caliber tells you to remove your valuables, you really should. read more

I had a hit and run happen to my vehicle and Progressive suggested this company to repair my vehicle. Since it was my first time ever dealing with an accident, I wasn't sure what was best, the dealership body shop or another company that stood behind their workmanship that had a robust warranty. When I arrived I was nicely greeted by Gabriella at the front desk who brought out my service advisor Germain. Germain explained the process, reviewed my car with another coworker, and I was on my way to the rental car place. I got my car back on day earlier and it looks brand new. I'm very happy with the results! They even kept my rental there and called to have it picked up from Enterprise when I picked up my car. They have great customer service and do quality work. Do not waste any of your time, money, or energy here. I was in a car accident and my insurance recommended this location for my repairs. The estimated repair time was 11 days, but the job ended up taking over four weeks. I understand that businesses are facing shortages, so I wasn't upset about the extended repair time. However, when I did finally pick up my car and drive home I discovered that it made a rattling noise and the front bumper was not completely attached. I had to schedule a date to drop off my car again to have those things repaired, which again took several days. I do not have children, so the backseat is not used very frequently. However, I did recently have a rear passenger for the first time since the accident and they were unable to open the door from the inside. It was not a child lock issue, as the entire locking mechanism was not functioning. Caliber replaced the entire door panel during the initial repair, so I had to return for a THIRD time to resolve this issue. Once my car was returned, I noticed that the technician scratched my window tint during this third repair process. The associate assisting me, Steven Dulasky, said that he would contact corporate to get that repaired for me. Unsurprisingly, Steven did not get back to me in a timely manner. I had to call Caliber multiple times over several days before I got an answer. It wasn't until another associate left a written note on his desk that Steve finally returned my call and said they would not be repairing the damage to my tint. He claimed that the scratches were already there (which is false) and that because there was dog hair in the back of my car they were not liable. I have a 14 year old dog with arthritis and cancer. He is rarely in the car unless he has an appointment with the oncologist. He cannot get into the car on his own, much less make a scratch at the top of the window. This entire experience has been utterly frustrating and disappointing. They do very shoddy work at this location and do not truly care about quality. Please spare yourself the headache and find another location for your repair needs. read more

I gave caliber collision four stars because the first time they fixed my truck, they left it more a disaster than what I bought it in. Many things were not fixed, old parts were re-used, and I felt like I went to a scam collision repair shop that only wanted money as opposed to a major company that normally prides themselves on their work. I dealt with someone who did not seem to know what he was doing, and when he gave I'll advice, Such as, "the sun will melt the parts into place" knew I made a mistake in choosing this place. It's a shame considering there are many people who are knowledgeable in the auto industry who are looking for a job and would provide excellent customer service and ensure that the company ranks five star across-the-board with their knowledge and experience but yet they have this incompetent person working for them. Well the insurance company offered to allow me to take my truck to a different body shop, but the manager of caliber collision, Xavier, called me and apologized for my previous experiences. He offered to make it right, and fix my truck to the standards it should be and to the pre-accident form. While I was very hesitant about it, he was footing the bill for this 3 round repair and not the insurance company so I decided, what the heck if he messes up again, I'll just take it to another MORE reputable shop that prides themselves on their work and would return my truck to standard. To my surprise, I was not disappointed this time. My truck was returned to me in excellent and immaculate condition. I had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. What should've been done the first time, was done the third time. While most agree that the "third times a charm", the fact that I was without my truck for too long was not something I enjoyed one bit. They did make it right, I never had to deal with the incompetent fool again, and I really hope that they dismiss him and get someone in there that knows what they're doing. Would I recommend caliber collision, it depends, while they do know what they're doing, I almost feel like there's some laziness going on considering it took three tries to get my truck to where it should be. Unfortunately for them, I did work at a collision repair shop so I was aware of too many little issues and details that most would not be aware of and I pointed them out. So while I am happy with the third round of work this is definitely a go at your own risk shop. I think unless someone knows what to look for, they will half-ass the work just to get by. On a side note, The girl at the front desk is awesome, she handled my rage, screaming, with so much cheese, and never flinched. She kept a smile on her face the whole time and apologized even though she had nothing to do with the repairs or the incompetency of the estimator. Super disappointed and upset with Progressive!! After having an accident and contacting my insurance to resolve my property damage, I was recommended by my adjuster to go to Caliber Collision Took my car there and was called 3 days later by German from the shop at almost 6pm telling me it was ready. My husband gets to the shop Monday morning to pick up the car and was told "OH, your car is NOT ready yet. It has not been aligned" He decides to leave because he has work and was told he would get a call to pick up the car later that day. He return in the afternoon when he gets the call and takes the car. He inspects the car only to find out that parts of the car were still scratched, not fixed properly and missing- not in the condition the car was in before the accident. ----------- Long post short-------- There were decisions made by the body shop that were not communicated with my husband and I at first. The rear bumper had a "step pad" on it... when we got it back it had a sand paper looking sticker decal on it instead. The front bumper grill was still scratched, the front bumper was not fixed properly and there was a cover missing under the front bumper of the car. My husband proceeds to tell German the issues he found and German THEN says OK, the part was not approved by progressive but I can order it on E-BAY! AFTER DECISIONS WERE MADE NOT BEFORE putting something completely different on the rear bumper of the car. (making it seem like we wouldn't notice the difference and we would go away) I call my adjuster who was great and explain everything....she puts me in touch with Raymond and I explain everything again- Ray agrees to meet me to inspect the car again and sees all of the issues and agrees that the car was NOT fixed properly and should NOT have been given back to me in that condition. Once again, I was told they would order the parts and I would get a call to bring the car in AGAIN! We bring the car in and get a call a few days later the car is done. Once I pick up the car, I encounter German again at Caliber.... and he tells me that he was not the one who initially called me, that he had never spoken to me that my car was done and wasn't even going to show me and review with me what was done. we discussed the issues previously in question and he argued with me front beginning to end while I was there. He said that the car did not have the parts I was claiming when it came in (there are pictures that the body shop took and pictures I took at the accident scene that show the parts) if you remember I was previously told that Progressive had not approved the step pad (contradicting statements) then he said that the decal on the bumper was what Toyota had for the bumper (never communicated this to us PRIOR to putting it on the bumper) ---- I am sure you get it- WORST EXPERIENCE EVER dealing with a body shop THAT WAS RECOMMENDED by my own insurance company. Got called a liar, was told incorrect information, was a total waste of time going to this shop 3 times for to get treated like total garbage. Where no one cares for customer service and where they just want the cars in and out like a factory. DID NOT EXPECT THIS AT ALL SINCE IT WAS A PROGRESSIVE RECOMMENDATION AND WISH SOMETHING WERE DONE ABOUT HOW THIS PARTICULAR SHOP TREATS PEOPLE AND THEIR VEHICLES. read more

My Subaru was not driveable and even had gear problems when I left and was advised to call Geico. They washed their hands and couldn't be bothered. I eventually sold my Subaru as a result. read more
