Unfortunately, Perfect Finish is no longer. It was sold and purchased by Caliber Collision Repair…read more The business was sold in 2023 (guess-a-mate). I have taken my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 to Perfect Finish for several years. Not once was I unhappy. If there were a problem, Steve would quickly address the issue, and a resolution was provided. I was sadden when I discovered that the shop was sold. It was nice to have a place to take my car in for mechanical issues. My A/C began to show signs of wear. I purchased all my OEM parts myself. Dan performed the removal and installation of a new compressor, Condenser, Upper and Lower section hoses, and dryer. The only issue that I encountered is that the upper radiator hose clamp was not tight enough, and leaked all over my engine. A simple mistake that was quickly rectified. I find it very difficult in finding a reputable, reliable auto repair center in my area. Prior, I used to take my car to the Honda Dealerships in O'Fallon, and ST. Louis. After proven problems with the dealership in O'Fallon, I will never take my car there again. As far as ST. Louis, they made a mistake that they thought I would not noticed. Guess what, I did. However, they made good on their promise to fix the issues. It's really sad when I see Auto Repair shops in our area that resemble junk yards. Car scatter throughout the parking lot, car hoods left ajar for months.

This place is money hungry! We brought our car here because a one of my husbands airmen told him…read morethat they were a good place to go to since they fixed his AC unit. We take our car in on 8/10/20 pic added. Got our car back 8/11/20 and vehicle still wasn't fixed engine light came back on driving it home so we took it back per Don because "mechanic missed something" so we take it back that same day get our car back 8/13/20 low and behold still having issues so my husband calls back and they say take it back Monday which would be on 8/17/20 so they can fix it. Mind you this would be the THIRD TIME first time we were charged $450 second time $168 and probably another hundred something when we take it back. I feel like they are intentionally missing parts so we can take it back so we can pay for labor the first time as you can see we paid $400 for labor the second time we paid $150 for labor. So we are on the hunt for a different mechanic since apparently they can't fix the problem and "that specific code wouldn't show up till the other codes were fixed because the other codes hide codes" per Don again UPDATE: 8/14/20 the first visit they "tightened a knuckle in the steering wheel" my husband drove it to work this morning the turn signal now turns on the high beams and lets out smoke so instead of fixing one issue they caused more issues..

I can't even begin to explain how satisfied I am with everything here! I just happened to pass the…read morebuilding on my way somewhere else. I tend to prefer places that don't look too nice from the outside (which is why I passed up a different store on the way) because I feel that my money is paying for appearance and therefore work price is inflated! This is absolutely not the case. Although plain, this is a clean and well run place. The lot was filled with Hondas and BMWs and a few others obviously. Since I have both, this appealed to me! Auto body work is a tough job and it is nice to see people with expensive cars and trusting them for the work. I needed a new bumper and wanted to pay out of pocket. I was hoping to just do the bare minimum because I am selling the car, but he offered to clear up the headlights (like the sparkling ones on the BMW in the lot) for $50 since the bumper will already be off. I couldn't even see the glass on those headlights --that's how clean they were! Sold! Anyway, not only did he take me right off the street, he looked immediately and gave me an incredible price. This was impressive two ways: one, the price. Jesus it's a good deal! Second, I didn't have to wait around for someone to look at it or bring it back in or wait days to hear information of any kind. There it was: price and completion date in a matter of 15 minutes. He said he could get the bumper Monday and it should be ready Tuesday. This is my final glowing point.... No long wait! I will bring my cars here any time I need something done. Everything about my experience was pleasant! If you need any kind of body work, come here. I also saw they had a sign for hail damage removal. Check this place out!

OK, that happens sometimes, not a big deal. But, the next day they had it towed to the autobody shop (where it should have initially been towed to) and then charged us for 2 tows. Almost $500! I don't know why the State Police use these scammers. Never again.

I was fairly bristling with hostility, as my hubby was deployed and it was just me and my daughters and MIL, so I made sure to double check EVERYTHING they told me. They were good humored and patient, showed me everything they were going to do or had done and they did a great job for a good price. To my mortification, due to a mixup on where my hubby's paycheck was deposited, the check bounced. They called us personally instead of shuffling us directly to another business, or sending it back to bounce again, and very kindly allowed us to make up the payment again, using a check again, after we got it taken care of. Since then, we have never had a lick of trouble with these people. They have even given us rides home when it was raining, or really hot and they didn't want to see us walking home when we dropped off the vehicle. They remember our old vehicles, and this last time, when I, for once, called ahead and told them what needed to be done, they went ahead and pre ordered the stuff they'd need, because they remembered what they were dealing with and knew what they'd need (brake work). Because they are a small shop, we sometimes have to pay for the part to be ordered and delivered before they can make a repair, and that's completely understandable. Because they sometimes get overwhelmed they can take a little longer than some larger places, but since we know that we can work around it. They are scrupulously honest, kind, and go the extra mile for their customers. If they cannot do a repair, they tell you up front and are willing to recommend some local shops that can. They're our first choice, every time.

In a vehicle this old, parts are scarce but they were able to source necessary parts to get me back on the road. I actually added some things, I wanted the cab buffed out and when they called me to let me know my vehicle was ready for pick-up, I was just astonished. The fit and finish was just suburb. It looked like it just came off the showroom floor and for a 20 year old vehicle, that is no easy task. The final bill was right on with the initial estimate. I wasn't disappointed. I was kept informed every step in the process which is an added bonus. Thanks to all of the staff at Caliber Collision in O' Fallon, IL

Their website promotes hail damage repair and free estimates, but when I arrived, the woman at the front desk was rude from the moment I walked in. Instead of offering helpful service or acknowledging the mix-up caused by their own online system, she doubled down with attitude and acted like I was wasting her time. She incorrectly claimed I booked as "self-pay" (I didn't -- that wasn't even an option and even if it was she said they don't deal with that either), then told me they don't work with Geico. Why was my appointment even booked then? I took off work early for this appointment, only to be brushed off and told to try another branch. Absolutely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Will not be returning to any of their branches.
