The tech spotted a little surface rust and because he had got in trouble for doing a repair on a jeep like mine a couple weeks prior said he couldn't do mine. I asked if his Supervisor could come out and I'd sign a release and set an appointment for the following Monday. Come Monday the tech called and said the supervisor said they couldn't do the repair. After many phone calls and being lied to I went to my local body shop and they confirmed that it was just a little surface rust and action auto glass could easily do the replacement. Absolutely love the 2 ladies on the front end! Very nice, respectful and literally can ease your stresses of putting your car in the shop for repairs. My adjuster was Laser, congrats on the new baby, he took care me like I was his on, literally! Kept me cool, calm and collected. Texted me roughly every other day with details on where exactly my car was in the repair process. It was finally ready on a Monday morning and I had to work but hey no sweat! They let me keep the rental for an extra day free of charge and didn't charge me a sitting fee like most repair shops do. Made it in on a Tuesday morning, waited about 10 minutes and then my car was ready. We did a complete walk through. Checked a few things. They replaced my entire front bumper which had a challenger logo previous, seemingly enough it was missing from the front...that was a loss. I'm giving a 3 star is BECAUSE 1. Anytime I called up there to get information, a very rude lady would say she would call back AND NEVER DID! she obviously wasn't the 2 sweet ladies sitting on the front end but STILL, in person customer care is just as important as over the phone customer care. 2. My service rep did a great job staying in touch with me and the insurance company. The repairs look great and were completed ahead of schedule. If you get your vehicle fixed here and something goes wrong later...buyer beware. They will blame you. I had a 9:00 am appointment this morning.. no good morning , no how are you, acted as if I didn't have an appointment. Then this big man came at me . No introduction, just hey let's go look at your vehicle. He immediately said this vehicle has been hit. ?? Really? My fault right out of the gate. I thought they stood behind their work with a warranty. He took my key fob and into the garage my vehicle went. Then he came out and said look at this dent. A dent? I don't recall my vehicle having a dent before he took it back to the garage. The bumper clips not connecting properly is a known Toyota issue. Avoid this collision repair facility. read more

They are the worst. I only used this company because my insurance company list them as a preferred auto body shop that will warranty the work. Caliber damaged my hood and window control but tried to make me believe it was done prior. I have pictures that shows that is not the case. I have since gotten a quote for the damage and was informed that Caliber somehow damaged the hood and tried to fix it which is why the paint buckled the way it did. I tried to be nice but Jeff was so nasty for no reason. I have a signed letter stating they will fix the issues but that has not happened. At this point, out of malice, I do not trust them to do the work properly. Also, they claim the replaced parts are new but I find that hard to believe. The parts are clearly used which is why the control is not working. They have been sued previously for stating replaced parts are new when in fact they are used. I want receipts. read more

Let me start by saying that they did a great job on my Mercedes bumper work. If a business thrived only on good work then they would be OK. The trouble is with their customer service. They were all smiles and friendly until they got my keys. I was promised a call every other day with the status of my repair which did not happen. And when I called them it sounded like they were annoyed and I was bothering them. Add to that my car was not ready when promised and that's it for me, no more Caliber. Took my car here today to get an estimate on having my back fender fixed after getting rear-ended. The guy in the office (Steven) completely blew me off. I had to coax him outside to look at it, He said that they were booked until the end of October. I said that was fine since it was still drivable. I asked if I could get an estimate. He just looked at me and said, I don't think we're going to be able to help you here. I was like, what??? I asked for his name and drove down to Spivey's. The owner was very nice and gave me an estimate and an appt to have it fixed in less than 15 min. The ironic thing was that Spivey's had twice the number of cars waiting to be worked on and Caliber had 3 empty parking spaces available. I guess that speaks volumes about their business. read more

Brought my 1999 Toyota Camry to Caliber Collision in Decatur for repair after a fender bender. Joseph something-or-other greeted me courteously and promptly inspected the damage and gave me a quote. After I chose Caliber over another repair shop in the area, I brought the car in for repair. It was turned around before their original promise date which was a pleasant surprise. As a cynic, I thought to myself, they couldn't have possibly done the job right that quickly. They did an incredible job making the rear bumper look as good as new! It's scary having to turn your car over to folks you don't really know. When my Mazda 3 was hit by a falling limb, I needed to find a reputable shop that could repair damage to my roof, front windshield, and hood. They stayed in contact with me throughout the repair process, which did involve having to order specific replacement parts, and basically deconstructing my car to ensure all repairs were properly fitted. I had my car (2020 Hyundai Elantra) towed to Caliber and the estimate/repairs started. The estimate was pretty consistent with the insurance appraisal, and Jose kept me posted on the state of things throughout the process. He called/texted me regularly and was quickly responsive when I reached out to him. My car was finished in a reasonable timeframe and I was able to pick it up when promised. The work looks great and they even cleaned the interior of my car quite nicely. I've had it back for a few days now and had no issues. Although I have visited this location in the past, I was very disappointed and frustrated with my most recent encounter. Not only was the manager unprofessional, but she (Jennifer Oliveira) was rude and disrespectful. I had to return my vehicle because of several issues that developed as a result of my repairs. Not only did Ms. Oliveira question my veracity regarding the complaints, but she refused to make a rental car available while they tried unsuccessfully to make the appropriate repairs within 30 minutes (what a joke). When I called the corporate offices for Caliber Collision I was referred to the district manager who appeared concerned. When he asked me to return the car again to try to make the appropriate repairs, I told him that I preferred taking the car to a licensed manufacturer's dealer. I have shared with the district manager the repairs that were made and costs associated with each repair. To date I have not heard anything back from him or the company. To say that they stand behind their work with "100% Satisfaction Guaranty", that is a joke! Consumer beware! read more

Lemetrius Knapp at the Decatur Caliber is a great service advisor and kept me informed about the status of my car repair during the entire process. He was available by email and cell phone, and answered all of my questions quickly. Lemetrius also personally made sure that the parts getting installed weren't damaged or defective. The Decatur shop is very busy, but Lemetrius always took the time to update me at every step. And the body and paint shop staff did an excellent job replacing the damaged parts so that my car looks like new again! read more

Do not take your vehicle to this shop. Despite their partnership with my insurance company, I have received poor service from this body shop. After assurance from Enterprise that it was okay, I returned my rental car (a new Camaro) here to a woman named Danielle. She thanked me and said there was no need to inspect the vehicle. The next day I was told the vehicle was stolen. Even though several other employees confirmed that they saw me return the keys, Danielle denied that she ever received them. Somehow, two weeks later, after I filed a police report and secured legal counsel, Danielle found the keys again. Would you trust your car to a shop where it might go "missing" only to reappear after you seek legal recourse? read more

Do not take your car here if you do not want to get the run around. It has taken them almost a week to do a one day repair and I still don't have my car back. I have no idea when I will get it back. They won't order parts unless you leave your car with them so if you decide to cut your losses and go get your car and take it to a reputable repair shop - you will be stuck paying for the rental car that you did not want or need in the first place but which you had to take so that they would order your parts. This wouldn't be so bad if you didn't also have to put up with the woman who provides the concierge service through insurance (Ashley). Rude does not even begin to cover how this woman behaves. When I asked her to speak with someone who could assure me that my car would be done this morning (turns out they haven't even begun the work on my car) she started shrieking at me "I can let you speak to blah and blah but they are just going to tell you the same thing I have." She literally would not stop talking over/at me in this obnoxious, outrageously aggressive tone. So, I guess if you want for it to take forever for your car to be repaired and you also want to be verbally abused by the lady at the concierge service then this is totally the place for you. read more

After a day of being snowed in and visiting 3 auto repair shops down in Decatur only to be turned down; a Subaru Dealership referred me to Caliber Collision. What a joke i had to rake the car back they left the messed up tire and rim in the on car because they said trie thread was low, oil pan had fallen off but what did they do my oil light is on and my insoect lifht is on, the radatior was broken which over heated the car killed the heating coil and they left me with no heat ot any way to defrost my window, forgot a piece on the front bumbe that you coukd clearly see, left broken the side view mirror and the list goes on and on. I dont trust they wven fixed my car correctly. Being new to Atlanta this is definitely the place to go! I'm not one to deal with ANYTHING with my car, however, everyone here made it so easy and simple. I needed my bumper and light done from an accident and they not only explained it thoroughly and repaired, but gave my car the best detailing I think it has had in years lol. I dropped my car off yesterday because of a long scratch on the passenger side. They called me today and told me my car is ready. They are able to buffed out the scratch and did it completely free of charge. The scratch is gone and they save me $500 insurance deductible. People are really polite and responsive there. My Fiat was hit by particle board from a truck pulling a home made trailer with home repair materials shabbily strapped on top. It flew from his trailer while we were both going 70 mph and slammed into the right side of my car crushing the front window, some of the door, the frame, etc.... Luckily the owner of the truck saw what happened and we both pulled over. Long story short, I chose Caliber Collision on Ponce de Leon to have the car repairs due to a friend's recommendation. Most of the staff was amazing. The individuals at the front desk were awesome. Michael, who was assigned to my car, would keep me up to date on all the repairs. Three and half weeks later I finally got my car back (and I say finally because Michael said that the company they were ordering parts from sent the wrong parts 3 times). When I did, I was truly surprised that it was so dirty. Several years ago, my previous car had to go to a collision shop and it came back so detailed. My friend who recommended Caliber said her car came back so clean and detailed with no showing of the wreck she was in. I was handed the keys to a car that they only cleaned exactly where they thought the damage occurred. They didn't take into account that the broken glass from my front windshield spread across the dashboard and onto the driver's side floor, seat and some glass was actually found in the backseat, too. They only cleaned the right front tire. I find this so strange and actually disappointing. Very disappointing. I texted Michael to tell him about my disappointment (since that was how all of our communication was done) and I did not receive any feedback. I do not recommend this place now. read more
