worst shop ever, it took them over 3 weeks to fix my car. i had never heard that before. and the rep always promise to call but never did. promise me to call me on friday. i waited till tuesday then i call him get the status, then he promise me again will call afternoon but waited another 2 days and i had to call back to follow up, then the same thing happen over and over and over again. dude i don't know where you guys learn your business of customer service but if you promise to call, you call. you don't wait till customer to call you. and keep on promising my car will be ready on the same day but never happen. seriously what kind service is that. sent my car in on 1/3/16 and till now 1/30/16 i have not yet got my car back. now who is going to pay for my loss. read more

I do not recommend Caliber collision after bringing my car to get repaired here. My vehicle was at the shop for over 2 weeks. When I picked it up and I looked around to see if it was repaired correctly I noticed a very noticeable dent on the back door. This dent was not there when I dropped it off for repair. It was also missing the LTZ symbol on the side they repaired. I was told to leave the truck so that it could be repaired. A week later I picked it up again and ever since I picked it up I have noticed several damages that were done at the shop. First of all, they drilled the plastic floor mat to the body of the truck. The other day my 11 year old son noticed the back mirror has damage to it as well plus the inside of the door panel that was repaired has dents and scratches that were definitely not there before I took my truck in for repair. I am definitely taking my truck back and I hope the manager can repair the damage that was done at caliber. I do not understand how the employees there do not take the time to carefully put everything back the way it was rather than sending the vehicle back to the owner with more damage. This clearly shows that Caliber and their employees are not careful with others possessions. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere. I recommend Seidner's Collision. I had an excellent experience with them when I had them repair my other vehicle! read more

Body work on my Audi was done great. Work took a lot longer than expected but they paid for a rental. Original estimate 2-3 weeks, final took 2 months. They also charged my insurance for a window they broke without getting approval from my insurance before replacing. They forgot to return the 2.0T Quattro emblem that was on the back of my car. The work on my car looks great but I'd probably go somewhere else next time. read more

Can't recommend enough! I have been bringing my cars here for years since this was an independent shop called Platinum Coachworks. The corporate structure has changed, but the staff is all the same. I was originally referred by Penske Mercedes as they are a authorized Mercedes-Benz repair facility. They do top-notch professional work. On our most recent visit, Edwin took care of us. He was very attentive to my concerns and very available. He knew how upset we were that our car was damaged a day after we got it. I am very pleased with Caliber Collision's efficient and professional service. My Lexus NX got rear-ended. The parking sensor and the lift gate got damaged. Jeff assured me it was an easy repair, and estimated the job would take two weeks. Jeff gave me two three updates every week. They repaired my car beautifully and got it back to me a few days early. I was referred to Caliber by my Toyota dealer. I originally brought my car to the dealer service center for an appointment, but they took one look and said it needs to go to an auto body shop. They sent me to Caliber since that's where they would have sent my car. The bottom plastic panel of my drivers's side door came loose because I had hit something underneath and it popped it out of place. The service rep at the dealer thought the whole piece might need to be replaced. I called Caliber while I was still at my dealership service center and asked if they could get me in for an estimate today. This was in the afternoon around 1 pm, so I didn't think my odds would be good, but they said bring it over and we can give you an estimate. I drove over and checked in. I didn't have to wait long, just long enough to text my dad an update. Luis helped me. He inspected the area, saw that it wasn't damaged, and was able to just pop the panel back into place. No charge. I was so relieved because I was imagining a $2000 estimate and trying to decide how I'd get my car in since I work in Pasadena. I was also stressed because I didn't even have my car a month, and was like I have to repair it already. Luis made my day, and relieved a ton of stress. He said they care about saving their customers money. He saved me both money and time. He fixed the issue, unlike other places, I've been too, did not look for other things to charge me for, so I'm very appreciative for that. Thank you Luis! I greatly appreciate your help. Worst shop ever, I would never take my car again to this shop and I would not recommend it to any one especially if you drive a black car. I own a 2015 Mustang which was vandalized and this shop was supposed to repair it, the funny thing is that the car got it in around October 2015 and till this day Jan 14, 2016 my car hasn't been fixed right and I always end up taking it back for different repairs , I have taken my car back to the shop for warranty jobs at least 8 times minimum , this goes from over spraying of paint on quarter panels , dents, loose bumper,broken clips from bumper, clips which the shop tried to glue back on to the bumper and never told me anything about it hopping I would never find out , but the worst thing out of this is getting ignored from them after all the crapy work performed by them, this has been a terrible experience and if I can help anyone from a big headache I'll do it !!! I called customer service 2 times already, but they never fix the issue! I'm tired of this!, will my car be done by 2017??? Who knows!!!! read more

I was in an accident where a young man rear ended me. I took my car [an Equinox Premier] to Caliber to have it repaired. Within a week my car was ready. Two days after bringing the car home, someone keyed the back. I was so angry but decided to not have it fixed. While having my car detailed, my guy noticed the paint from the repair was not right. [It was a minor thing, I never noticed it.] I took the car back to Caliber and talked with Oswaldo. They would go ahead and repaint the back, putting new decals on and they would fix the keyed part. I told Oswaldo I would be more than happy to pay for that part but he said to not worry. They were even going to get me a rental car to use if I needed one. I was fine. They had my car for 4 days and I picked it up today. It's like a brand new car. The service and staff are beyond 5 stars. They kept me informed concerning my car and it's progress. My previous experience here with a small repair was great. However, I had them complete a larger repair and had a horrible experience. They had my car for almost 1 full month for a repair that totaled around $3600. The body work was fine, my complaint was that they gave me the car back with my back seat not being properly attached to the car, and they broke a plastic cover in the rear that covers the charger. When I took it back to them, they said they would fix it. When they gave the car back to me, the back seat was STILL not properly attached, I could fit my whole arm between the seat and the carpet where it was supposed to be attached. Had to speak with a manager after Nestor was trying to tell me it was "supposed to be that way." It wasn't. Finally got my car back after returning twice to get this issue fixed. I will never come back here. I was lucky enough to notice that the back seat was off, by what if I hadn't? Huge safety issue. This place was great when it was Platinum Coachworks, now it's just terrible work when it comes to quality control. Ive spent thousands here over the past 8 years, and now I'll never come back here. read more

In Jan 26, 2016 the shop towed my car to repair front damage from car collision. I called them after a week and ask for the status. The adjuster Mr.AP said that he still waiting the approval from the insurance co. The following week I called back and he said they got the approval and the repair now is in progress. The following week I called again then he said the repair got delayed since they have to return 1 part because it was not in good condition so they need to order another one. To make long story short, on Feb 18 (25 days later), Mr.AP called and leave mssg. on my VM (which I saved it) that the car is ready for pick-up next day (Friday) in the afternoon, they just need to wash it. I called him few times nest day, Friday, but only got his VM, left messages but never got called back. But after work, I went to the shop and spoke to the store manager Mr. HG to pick up my car. He looked at the computer for my car and to my surprise he told me that the car was declared total loss and no repair has never been done at all to the car!!! So FOR 27 DAYS they've done nothing to the car and lying to my face about the status of the car!!! I don't know what they trying to do with it or the plan behind it??? For sure it smells STINK and DISHONEST!! I told them that I am going to sue them for making the false statement & lying about it, and gave false hope. They never gave me the detail explanation why they did that??? I consulted my attorney, and Caliber agreed to settle and reimbursed my car rental. The corporate office never apologize nor give me explanation of their action. I reported this issue to Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more
