Cannot speak more highly of this auto body shop. Dave and Margaret were amazing and my car is in perfect condition. I was on my way to a job interview, (of which I didn't accept because I accepted another position with an organization I've been wanting to work with for years!), but was rear ended by a nurse that worked at the hospital (poor gal on her way to work and total innocent accident) and these guys took great care of me! read more

The only thing I have to complain about is that their receptionist/ person who answers the phone is incompetent and impatient. Please hire someone who is willing to help instead of saying "I don't know" for the entire conversation. read more

Just had a great experience at this Caliber! I had to get the bumper on a Range Rover Evoque replaced and Dave was quick to respond with an estimate, ordering the parts, and the repair. I turned the car in on a Monday and they estimated to have it back on Thursday, but we're finished with it Wednesday afternoon. When I got it back, the car looked brand new! I'm so happy with this repair. Also, they worked directly with my insurance and with the Enterprise down the street where they will pick you up from the collision center for a rental and then drop you off when you turn it in. Also, Margaret at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. :) Wonderful customer service! Thanks guys. read more

I think the guys name was Justin. He gave me a quick quote on the car, then talked me through the best alternatives per cost. I ended up fixing the problem myself but these guys went out of their way and installed a fender for me. I couldn't figure out which person to tip so I am just giving a shout out. This place does wonders for a lot of people who get ripped off at smaller "Mom and Pop shops." Do yourself a favor and just get a free quote. read more

Really great service! I had some pretty minor scratches fixed on my bumper and they buffed out and fixed all the other marks on the bumper too, no additional fee. Great customer service. They called Enterprise for me and kept me updated the whole time. Will certainly be bringing my car here from now on (and all their work is guaranteed for life!) read more

I was getting work done here through AAA after being rear ended. I brought in my car on Monday morning & by Tuesday afternoon it was ready to be picked up!! My car just needed work on the bumper but they did everything so fast & on top of it they washed the car & touched up my headlights that have been foggy for a while!! I was blown away with their customer service & how fast they work here. I would definitely take my car here again if needed & I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

Just bought a new Lexus 350ES and some savage scratched the entire passenger side. After doing extensive research of auto body places AAA recommended, I decided to have this facility repair my baby. The staff was very helpful and patient with me (I'm extremely picky with my car) and the paint job they did was FLAWLESS!! Absolutely no overspray and they paid attention to details. The manager Dave was very responsive and walked me though their process since this was the first time I've been to a body shop. I definitely recommend this place if you're unfortunate to need a body shop. read more

Amazing customer service and quality!!! As the reviews below have been from previous managers, the new manager has made such a difference. She greeted me as I was walking through the parking lot and made me feel so welcome. Our service advisor Chelsey, was great as well. The whole shop had an awesome culture! My car got back to me in such a timely manner. If I ever have to come back, I'm coming back to this Caliber Collision. Thank you so much to the amazing crew!! read more

After being helped by Nick Thorburn in the past one week, I had to say he is the best of the best. Always kept me updated what was going on with my car and really appreciate his promptly reply. This is the first time I had the accident issue with my car, and he really helped a lot. My car was returned to me within 7 days and it looked like brand new. High quality of service. Pass special thanks to Nick. read more

I'm a very happy customer. This shop partnered with AAA auto insurance is the best so far in my experience with auto collision repairs. People at this place are the best in customer service. Dave goes above and beyond making sure your car is fixed to your satisfaction. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I love my car again! read more

Excellent service! I was rear-ended Thursday morning around 9 am, took my car in to this location at Farmers recommendation around 11 am, and had my car delivered to me in North Orange County by Friday at 4 pm - cleaned and looking like new. They returned my rental car and everything! read more

My RSX was almost stolen. The whole steering column was wrecked and the car was not able to operate. I filed a claim through USAA and they referred me to this place and it was one of the best experiences I've had with a mechanic shop. Knowing that a lot of places get pretty sketchy with their business, I kept that in mind the whole time I was dealing with them. Fortunately, I never felt that way at all and I was very welcomed since Day 1. My point of contact was Nick and he was extremely friendly and would always call me with updates about my car. When my car was "fixed," my new alarm set up decided to go nuts and wouldn't shut off. I called Caliber at 10 PM and they contacted the manager of the shop in Costa Mesa. The manager then contacted Nick and helped me figure out what to do next. My car went in the shop another couple of days, and everything was on their dime. Since the issue wasn't completely resolved, they took my car back and made sure everything worked properly before returning it again. Since then I've had no issue and I'm very happy with everything. I am not the type to write reviews often, but I figured this Caliber Collisions in Costa Mesa offered such great service, I had to return the favor. They definitely deserve the recognition and I would go back to them if I needed anything. They have a lot of great connections. read more

If I didn't know better I would have thought that my husband had bought me a new car! I am almost at a loss for words...which never happens. James was so wonderful in dealing with insurance for me, fighting to get what I was owed, and keeping me apprised of the progress. They offered to come pick me up so I could retrieve my vehicle, but when they realized I had a little one....they brought the car to my house! My vehicle was spotless and restored to almost brand new condition.... And it's 7 yrs old! My only regret is that I could not rate them 10 stars! Thank you Caliber....and give James a raise! read more

The customer service was great! James Espinoza handled all of my concerns with care. I will never go anywhere else!!!

I took my VW Jetta to Calber Collision after being in an accident. I had never heard of them before but they were reccomended by AAA and down the street from my house so I said ok. Dave Tripplett was the person who came out of the office and looked at it and was very nice from the beginning. I especially liked that he said he was a VW person, as in liked them. It was a Friday and I wasn't ready to give up my baby for the weekend since they couldn't do the estimate until Monday. He said I could keep it till Monday as long as I did not drive on the freeway and went slow, so I did. I dropped the car off on Monday and saw Dave again and he checked out the car and said he'd know more details after they got it apart and that he'd send the estimate to AAA. I felt relieved to have someone as nice and caring as Dave that I could leave my car with. Dave contacted me the next day and said the estimate was complete and they were going to start repairs. He was very detailed in his explanation of what they were going to do and I appreciated that as sometimes people think women don't know about cars and gloss over the details, not Dave. He continued to call me periodically to "keep me in the loop" as he said about the status of my repairs. I just picked up my car and it is BEAUTIFUL! They did a fantastic job and went out of their way to get my car done quickly. There was a lot of suspension damage and they were sure to be thurough, careful and quick. I could not be more pleased with Caliber Collision and Dave. Overall their staff is fabulous, friendly and you get to eat popcorn while you wait. Thank you Dave and everyone at Caliber! I would definitely reccomend them to anyone looking for auto body repairs. I wish they did mechanical repairs as well. Satisfied customer Colleen read more

Great service! No, great service! Price seemed pretty good too. This was the first time I had to use a body shop in decades and I was skeptical going into the experience, due to my previous experience back then. I thought I was going to get strung out on quality and time, but was very pleasantly surprised. I had selected this shop through the Farmers Insurance website. They called me when I delayed connecting with them. Proactive. Not pushy at all. My brand new Toyota Tacoma got rear-ended while I sat stopped in heavy freeway traffic--distracted driver (likely texting). 100% the other driver's fault. I was concerned that any body work would make it look like a used truck. One day brand new, the next day damaged goods. Jay was the representative assigned to my case. I was a little annoying about using only OEM factory replacements and limiting any body/paint work. I also didn't want to give up my truck over the weekend. Jay and the Caliber team got it done! Like new, all Toyota factory parts, completed early, very polite and accommodating. No insurance hassles. I highly recommend them. read more

Came here for a second opinion on some damage to my car. This location charged me HALF of my original estimate from another place. I was helped by Jay (he's the manager) and he kept me updated about the progress of my repair and got it done FAST. Highly recommend this location, their staff is great and they care about customer service. read more

An uninsured driver crunched my car. I heard the guys were good and I am willing to pay cash to fix my Mercedes, But, spoke with a guy named Mike and he was a total JERK to me over the phone... I guess since there is no Insurance Company to pay the bill, my car isn't worth their time. I was having a tough enough day without this Jerk making it worse read more

Over the years I've used this particular Caliber a few times. This week they made a relatively minor repair to my wife's BMW, but to her it was a major headache. I cannot say enough for the treatment I received from Pedro...I appreciated his professionalism and knowledge. And my wife is happy...well done team.!!! read more

the job they did to my hood was horrible, worst expiernce and work done to my vehicle was the worst, would not recommend this place to anyone!!! everytime i wash my car and the paint i get pissed!! read more

We had a 7:30 appt. to meet with Dave and drop our truck off for repair. After we waited 15 minutes I asked for him again, meanwhile 3 guys are standing around drinking coffee and shooting the breeze, of course one of those guys was Dave. After 5 more minutes of waiting he comes to talk to is with no apology for the wait or anything just asked why we were in a hurry. Hello? It's Monday morning at 8am we have to go to work. Basically they are rude and inconsiderate, go to Caliber Collision on Logan Ave. in Costa Mesa, they will treat you right. read more

Extremely unhappy with my experience with Caliber Collision in Costa Mesa. I will start by saying, they had their hands full when I dropped off a car that had been recently stolen and recovered. The guys that had my car went on a 4 day smoking joy ride leaving ashes with cigarette and drug smoke residue. They also scratched most of the inside then crashed it when they tried to evade the police. Caliber made me feel very comfortable and said I would basically have a new car. Couldn't be further from the truth. Their original 3 week estimate for completion turned into 6+ weeks. Caliber also scratched one of the side windows which was on backorder at the dealer (an additional 3 week delay), but at least I had my car during that time. When I received the car after weeks of waiting, there was white over spray on most black exterior plastic parts...they blamed it on the detail company that should have removed it. One of my leather seats was replace, but was returned wrinkled and didn't look like the other seat, so they blamed it on their upholstery company. They promised to hire a reputable company to detox my car and rid the car of all unnatural smells and make it safe for my children. I received it smelling like chemicals that were supposed to go away after a few days. A couple weeks later the chemical smell went away and the smoke smell was back. In the end, I went back to my insurance company and they made Caliber Collision pay for a reputable company to fix the smoke damage. They corrected the damage, but that was another 2 weeks without my car. The major issues I had with Caliber was the fact that they blamed everyone they hired, they were sloppy with their work, their estimate for repairs was way off and they hired a mobile detail company to resolve a smoke damaged car because they were behind schedule. Maybe they should hire better more reputable companies. On the plus side, Lewis was mostly honest, polite and responsive. He did the best he could to cover for the company and took a lot of heat for things they did wrong. This happened about a year ago, so maybe things have improved... read more

I got Great Service here ! The job was done in time and my car looks great ! My agent Jay worked with me to get my car back in time and gave me updates all the time . i would bring my car back to this place for all my needs . Thanks Jay ! read more

I was recently in a car accident. the damage was extensive. My car was towed to Caliber in San Juan Capistrano, it was then brought to the Caliber in Costa Mesa as this is the location that was able to service my Audi. The transfer was made immediately and I received my first call from Brandon the day after my accident. Brandon explained to me that he would be my contact and he would provide me with consistent updates and information regarding my car and the repair process. Brandon did just that! He was courteous and consistent with his information throughout the 5 week process. My rental car insurance ran out after 4 weeks and my car was delayed due to parts availability, Brandon stepped in offered to pay for all rental car fees that extended past my insurance allowance. He actually called my rental company to have them bill all additional fees to Caliber. When my car was ready Brandon offered to have it towed back to San Juan that day, as this was a more convenient location for me to pick up the car. I was able to leave my rental car in San Juan when I picked up my repaired vehicle. The whole process was as pleasant as this type of situation could be, there was absolutely no Hassle factor on my end. I never had to chase down info or even make a phone call. Thank you to Brandon for your excellent customer service! Thank you to Caliber for getting my car repaired! read more

Very curteous. Always keep u up to date. Gave me a ride home. Used them twice. They try to be very helpful. Only complaint is how long it takes them to repair your car but then again, I know nothing about mechanics of cars, etc! My car does look as good as new! read more

I have always gotten the best customer service from location. They've done an amazing job fixing my car after an accident. But what I really love is that when my bumper was recently popping out, they fixed it for me for free (as well as cleaning up a small scratch for free!) I will always give them my business because they really take care of their customers! Thanks Bob for being so amazing and fixing my car. read more

Very professional and polite. Got the work done in a timely fashion and it look great.

I was very impressed with my whole experience with Caliber Collision. I received constant email updates on the status of my car and they completed the repairs faster than originally estimated. I worked with Nick and he was wonderful. He stayed late to make sure I could pick my car up before the weekend and made sure to keep in constant communication with me regarding my vehicle. I will definitely be a return customer if I ever need repairs again. Thanks Caliber Collision and Nick for a wonderful experience! read more

My 2017 XC90 bumper was damaged at a carwash. I was able to get a quick estimate and ASSURANCE that the work would be done correctly at Caliber. The car looks great and I LOVE the fact that there is a lifetime guarantee. read more

Work done on M-B S500 on referral by my insurance company USAA. Very satisfied with prompt job and professionalism.

I damaged my fender in a parking garage. They repaired it so well I have a hard time believing it. The fender was pretty well banged up and the paint (silver) is tough to match, and they absolutely nailed it. It took a little longer than estimated, and they suggested a rental and paid for it. I'm a perfectionist about my car, and would highly recommend them. I used them twice with my prior car for minor stuff, and they were perfect with it, as well. read more

I brought my 2013 Ford Focus in to get fixed after I was in a small fender bender on the 55. Joe helped me out through the entire process. It took a little longer to fix than Joe had told me, but that was because they were really backed up. Joe informed the rental car company and the insurance carrier,!who was taking care of the costs of the repair and rental, to let them know they needed to extend my rental. I did not have to call or update arrangements with anyone. Joe not only gave me regular updates regarding my car, but was exceptionally friendly and helpful every time I spoke to him. Not only did they do an amazing job repairing the damage, but they completely detailed the inside and outside of my car as well! For me, that was the cherry on top of the whole experience. I would also like to mention I am an insurance agent and regularly refer clients in the area to this Caliber Collision location. I have even more reason to refer clients to this location. Thanks again, Joe and everyone at Caliber Collision! read more

I took my car to Caliber after a hit and run incident. They completed the bodywork and paint in half the time estimated by others. They also perfectly matched my pearlescent paint job. I recommend going here even if a bit our of your way. read more

My white car got a big (3 foot brown scratch) in a parking lot hit and run incident... My insurance company sent me to CCC (in costa mesa) and they took one look at my car and said- "I think I can just buff that right off." And they DID!! They brought my car back good as new and told me they would report to my insurance that it was a paint transfer that they buffed off at no cost. I was so grateful and pleased. I have been swindled and ripped off when it comes to cars again and again. they could have told me they needed to replace the door to get rid of the scratch and I would have bought it. They were honest, effective, and got the job done for FREE!!! Does it get any better then that. (P.S. the man who helped me was named Cody). If you ever see this thank you again Cody! read more
