I've been to the one on Minnewawa. I'll compare. Greeted and asked how they can help as soon as I walked in. Wasn't hard to email or call about my car. Took care of my concerns quickly. The one on Sunnyside wasn't like this. Went in for a very small repair. Which they did a good job repairing but they introduced other issues. Poor clear coat polish. Then introduced swirl marks after they repolished. Then they left scratches at the edge of that panel. I had to go back twice and the scratch I decided not to waste my time and polished it myself at home. Additionally, they left a lot of peeled 3M tape in the area where it was removed from. Some even got into the car's water drains. I had to vacuum those out myself. They also installed a badge loose; it was wobly. Other things: Took 4 working days to confirm my policy with my insurance. I had to call back and follow up. Realizing they didnt do anything, I called my adjuster to call them to confirm my limits. Emails took longer than it should to get a reply. I found out my contact went on vacation. The next contact left the job. Maybe it was just bad timing or maybe it was poor management. Office staff was nice once they started working with you and they were always willing to make things right. The extra time used to bring the car back and to get things rolling was unnecessary. None of these things happened the last 3 times I went to the one on Minnewawa or in the far past the one by Blkstone/Bullard or the one out on west Shaw. read more

Went there early 2024 to get my car repaired after getting rear ended. Everything seemed pretty easy and quick. Until I got my car back after a few month the trunk no longer worked. I had to manually pull the E-lever in the back to open it. I had brought it back in stating that I needed to get this looked at, stating that it was from a previous repair. They told me unless I pay for additional repairs that they won't be doing anything of the sorts. read more

This location does quality work. Unfortunately, the dishonesty and laziness of Savannah during the billing reconciliation process made this a negative experience. We have been owed $500 for 19 days and counting. I would recommend utilizing other Caliber Collision locations because it's a good company. Customer service wasn't the best. The employees I spoke with inside and over the phone seemed annoyed and agitated, but the mechanics I spoke with outside were very helpful and kind. I had an appointment at 1:30pm for an estimate and came in at 1:20pm. However, they didn't see me until 1:55pm! I didn't expect them to see me 10 minutes early or anything, but i also didn't expect them to see me almost 30 minutes late. This was really frustrating since I already had to wait almost two weeks for the actual appointment, and I was on my lunch to be there. I was well aware of the fact that the appointment would've taken a while, but the lady I was waiting for did not seem considerate of my time at all, and if anything, she seemed annoyed like I was the one wasting her time. When it came to the estimate, i felt like the lady performing it was trying to downgrade what the collision caused. There was a dent on the passenger side door, and I knew it was related to the accident. (When my passenger first got out of the car after the collision, the door made a big pop sound as it was opened. I spoke with multiple mechanics about it, and they all said it was caused by the accident.) After explaining this to the lady, she continued to disagree with me and said that since the door didn't squeak when being opened, then it wasn't effected by the accident. That made no sense to me. As we were talking, one of their own mechanics came up to us and explained that I was right. He said it was very common for those types of collisions to cause a dent in the door like that. Afterwards, the lady got quite and seemed annoyed as she turned around and walked back inside without acknowledging anything her coworker said. It was really weird, but I appreciate the mechanic for saying something. In the end, she told me that they wouldn't be able to work on my car anyways, due to some warranty policy they had with the paint, and just gave me the estimate. I asked if they could refer anyone who would be able to, but the business she recommended seemed kind of sketchy. It didn't have any yelp reviews, a website, or any poof on google that they even existed. The insurance company covering my repairs also didn't have any record of that business. It might've just been a new company, but I expected her to recommend a place that actually had experience. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience and the lady was unprofessional the whole time. I only went here because the insurance company recommended it and the reviews seemed decent enough. But it ended up being a waste of my time after waiting almost two weeks and being turned away in the end. I would've given 1 star, but since the guys in the parking lot were helpful I'm giving 2 stars. read more

Here we go again... Six months after repairs, the paint in bubbling on my brand new 2025 Toyota Tundra that was repaired by Caliber Collision on Sunnyside in Clovis. I don't even deal with them due to the incompetence of the staff at the location and the manager Jon with his passive aggressive attitude. I allowed my wife to speak to him, who has worked in customer service for over 25 years. We were informed that we were responsible for a rental after they failed at providing a simple paint job. Funny thing is that after Jon refused to provide the rental and my wife spoke to corporate, who by the way agreed with us, we will be getting a rental while they try for the now 6th time to get it right. Please do your research before dealing with Jon and his staff. Not to mention we already have theft from this facility, that then, also had to replace the stolen stereo item. Since when has doing the right thing become so foreign. read more

Went to Caliber Collision today for the first time after being in a slight sideswipe on I-5 coming back from a Disney trip. Immediately walking in door I felt welcomed. I was acknowledged right away and had a technician looking at my damage in less than 5 minutes! The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. About a week ago I had a appointment where they were supposed to put my car up on a rack to inspect the undercarriage for any damage. So I arrive for the appointment and they said I would have to bring the car back because it has to be put on a rack for inspection and I would have to make another appointment to bring it back to do that. I said that's what I did over the phone and that's what I'm here for for the inspection on the rack. Yet they said you have to bring your car back for another appointment. I'm not sure why I even came in that first day because it was just to make another appointment. Pretty much wasted my time that day. Not very welcoming to customers. Kinda felt like they didn't want my business. I was very polite with them and didn't loose my cool. So I made another appointment and brought it back. I dropped my car off for inspection this morning . My appointment was at 8:30am to drop off my car. I arrived at 8:15am and the office staff that check you in didn't appear to be that busy. But the person that was supposed to check me in said to wait because the computer was warming up. Yet they kept working on the computer preparing other repair orders. After 20 minutes they finally decided to check me in. Also when I brought my car in a week ago they made me wait over 30 minutes just to be told I had to bring it back for another appointment. I just didn't feel very welcome at all. If they are that stressed out with the work they do then maybe it's not the best job for them. Now I am bit concerned about my car being in their care. I will add to this review as things progress. Update to review: I just picked up the car and before going in to settle the bill I was greeted by the manager while I was looking at my car. I went over the situation with him and he was very helpful. When I went inside to check out it was much different situation than the previous two occasions. They were much more helpful. I started coming to this location before it was Caliber and the transition was seamless and the customer service remained as attentive, professional and the repairs are flawless. Recently, they have even exceeded my expectations and I can't recommend them highly enough. I took my 2013 Hyundai Elantra in for paint work. If you know Hyundai, then you know how bad their paint quality is. It was peeling and flaking in multiple spots and exposed to the bare metal. I tried to get Hyundai to fix it, but they refused and if you look online you'll see all the complaints about their paint. Caliber explained what they could do right from the start and what to expect. I knew exactly what how it would come out. I could tell they wanted to do the right thing for me and were not just in it to make a buck. These guys were so helpful and their customer service was terrific. Oh, where do I begin in my lengthy experience with Calliber while just trying to get a bumper replaced. I'll try to keep this short... I brought my car in after having minor damage from being rear-ended. It is the STOCK color from Mazda called soul metallic red. The only repair needed was a bumper replacement. After the first time they painted it, the color of the body and the color of the bumper didn't match. They weren't even close. So, I brought it back in, and they told me it was because the bumper is plastic and the body is metal. I'm not a collision center, but it seems like a reasonable explanation. On my way out from scheduling a repaint appointment, I said I would need a rental car again. They said my insurance company would pay for it. Seems odd since it's Calliber's mistake, but again, I'm not a collision center, so I don't know their procedures. (After contacting my insurance, they of course said it's Calliber's responsibility and Calliber had to pay for it.) I get a call a few days later, I go in to pick it up and immediately see that there is zero improvement in the paint matching. They tell me they used a special toner, but it still doesn't match. So, why did they call me to come pick it up? Now, for paint job round #3, they said they're bringing in a "color specialist." Just a reminder... this is a stock color. I go to pick up my car after the 3rd paint try, and it's about a 90% match. I had been patient and polite this entire time. Way more than I should have been considering what they had done. But paint job #3 is where it fell apart. This time... they told me they dread whenever a car my color pulls in (I'm sorry for the inconvenience of giving you money) and told me the colors would never match because my specific car was made in Japan and there's a chemical they can use in their paint in Japan that they can't use in the US. Seems a bit far-fetched... but again, I'm not a collision center. I then said that I was surprised they couldn't fade the paint from the bumper to the body of the car, so there wasn't a solid line, like is done in many other instances. Here's where things fell apart for Calliber. The guy tells me they couldn't do that because my insurance wouldn't cover it because bumpers aren't made to match the body of the car, so they don't care if they don't match even though they matched originally. I have USAA insurance. They're ridiculously phenomenal, and I immediately know two things: 1. There's a 0% chance USAA would say that and 2. If, in some bizarre world they did, they would have contacted me. For the first time, I'm heated because I know I'm being lied to. Which means... how many other times was I lied to? In order to make sure my anger was properly placed, I later contacted USAA. They said they had indeed already given Calliber permission to blend the paint because it's difficult to match. Then the cherry on top is that they used some chemical to clean my computer screen that damaged it, so now it has strange streaks, and the smooth finish is gone wherever that chemical made contact. Needless to say, Calliber will be hearing from me again. read more

I needed repair for damage I caused when I hit a tire retread on the freeway one night. Through my insurance, I found this repair facility and the inspection of the damage, estimate for the repairs, the arrangement for repair and coordination with Geico was pretty easy and well facilitated. From the time of the accident until I picked up the vehicle with repairs completed took a little less than 3 weeks but this was because Caliber Collision has alot of business. The office folks there were real nice and professional. I will definitely remember these folks in the future for any car body work done. read more

This would've been my third time using Caliber Collision...glad it wasn't. The first time I used the Sunnyside location and was pleased with the service and repairs. The second time I was referred to Barstow location in Clovis where I sat in the waiting room for a long period of time listening to personal conversation from the employees, laughing and engaging with each other. Finally, I was helped and after dropping off car, repairs completed, the car looked good. Again, I sat in the lobby waiting to leave, same atmosphere. Personal engagement was more important that paying guests. Fast forward, I went to Sunnyside location because I didn't want to return to Barstow location and Sunnyside said it was faster if I went to Barstow location because of my insurance. I begrudgingly agreed. Sunnyside took my info and to this day, one months plus later...I haven't heard from either location for an appointment. There are plenty of other businesses who will gladly accept my business. Won't refer anyone here, instead will tell them not to go there!! read more

There should be a ten star rating option for this business. They went above and beyond in every way. The customer service was excellent. They handled getting me to my car rental place as well as getting the rental back when I picked up my car. The estimate was less than expected. The care was finished ahead of time and my car came back looking better than when I dropped it off. Not only because they repaired it but they also washed and vacuumed it. The employees were polite, professional and friendly. Isaac was the advocate for me with the insurance company. He phoned and kept me updated on any communications from the insurance company and progress of the care. Michelle was also really helpful. She was part of the excellent customer service as well. Unsure what people are referring to in regards to quick... it has been 7 weeks for my repair and my car was hit on the driver side fender (close to the tire) .. and guess what -- it is still not done... they outsource some of the more specific jobs , which is fine, but 4 days to sit at a shop waiting (!) for the engine to get removed is absurd. And they dont follow up on those shops that they outsource to -//it ll sit for 4 days at engine shop, 2-3 days sitting at alignment...so time just drags on.... read more

I had to take our BMW to this location after issues with the Barstow location. It took 2 weeks, very worth the wait it came out so amazing. They kept nearly all of the old Brads Auto body employees so I had a feeling this time it would come out right. A aside from three employees starting at my very young fiance, the whole time we check the car over. We had a great chat with Manger and Customer Service Rep. I would highly recommend you look them up, if your ever in the not so pleasant place of needing them. Excellent work, great personalities, only thing lacking is better keeping customers up to date on progress and finish times.
