Four full weeks - an entire month - for a simple quarter panel replacement. There were no outstanding reasons either. No shortage of parts, ordering issues, or lack of paint availability; there was nothing but simple bad management to drag a 3-5 day repair out to 4 full weeks. If you don't have an unlimited rental car, or a lot of buddies that don't mind driving you to the store so you can actually buy food on occasion, then don't waste your time here.
For the first week after dropping off my vehicle there was little communication as they inspected and ordered a new quarter panel, only to say that they'd be finally getting around to replacing it sometime during the second week. After a few days, I got the notification that the job wouldn't be finished for another two weeks after that. When I asked why it would take so long, they simply said that the repair was 'on schedule' to finish on the desired date.
As their scheduled finish day approached, I began to call and inquire as I hadn't heard anything for nearly the entire two week period. They said that the quarter panel was finished, and that it just needed to be painted. However, as the pick-up date approached, I was called and informed that painting wouldn't be done on time. In fact, it took another entire week for the painting process to be completed, with many more angry phone calls made daily to help and speed up the process.
As I finally arrived to pick up the vehicle, I had a pretty unhelpful discussion with the acting manager about my dissatisfaction. They told me that I had to pay the full price for the service, but that there was a possibility of some reimbursement if I forwarded my expenses. As I got into my vehicle to drive away, I noticed that they didn't even bother to reset my security system, leaving to plenty of warning lights and car dings on my drive back home with none of my safety features working. To make matters worse, the following day I opened up my trunk to find that they'd forgotten to return all the items after cleaning, so that required yet another trip to the office in order to pick up my now dusty and dirty trunk cargo.
After sending them my bills for my rental car, Uber, and other things to their corporate office, it was still another two weeks before I heard back from anyone, and that was after a few emails and phone calls for further persuasion. I did (or at least will be at the time of writing) receiving at least a partial reimbursement for some of my expenses, but I honestly feel that I shouldn't have paid anything at all for the terrible service I received. It's a shame too because the actual body work was decent, but PLENTY of other body shops would've done the same work in the normal 3-5 days that such a job should take. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I won't be back myself. read more
