When I finally had time to bring it in for warranty repairs, I chose this location instead, and I'm SO glad I did. I worked with Brian, and he made the whole process easy. I showed up without an appointment for an inspection, and he got me scheduled for exactly the dates I needed. He finished the repair on the day he promised, and the work was done exactly right. My car insurance sent me here to get an estimate for hail damage. After talking to the call center, they made an appointment that was two weeks out and promised me the estimate could be done within an hour or hour and half. The appointment confirmation was sent by email directly after I hung up. When I showed up at the scheduled time, the shop claimed it was not aware of my appointment and they could not write an estimate for me. They said I would need to reschedule and most interestingly, they informed me that the vehicle needs to be dropped off and the actual repair started to get the estimate to the insurance - which was strange as it most likely will be totaled by the insurance company, so no need to start a repair in the first place.... I wrote to the company and general manager how unprofessional this is, but they didn't bother to respond or even apologize. Needless to say, I won't come back. read more

We took are two cars in on back to back days after hail damage. As they where listed on All State claim center as an options. Thought it will be easy as we pass it ever day two and from work. I get it their busy specially with all the hail damage this year. After a month we still had not received our an estimate. Then we are ask to bring a car back in via email with no clarification on which vehicle as we had two claims and therefore two vehicles. Then when our local All State office asked how was going we told them we hadn't heard back, they reached out and just told them we didn't show up for our appointments, which is just a flat out lie. As we have a voicemail asking us to come back in because they need better photos, so don't lie! read more

I'm not one to write reviews, but Caliber Collision's excellent service needs to be noted. I am more than pleased with Caliber's excellent service, and highly recommend them. Excellent experience from the get-go. When I went in to drop off my vehicle, they arranged for a rental car for me, and drove me over to Hertz. I received daily updates via text, and the car was ready on the date they told me. I live in Rollinsville, almost an hour away, and was unable to go down and get the car that day (a Friday), and asked if I could leave it until Monday. Less than 1/2 hour later, I got a call from the shop manager (Steve, I think?) that he would be happy to deliver the car to me, and return my rental car. Now remember - I live almost an hour away! That is definitely going above and beyond! The car was delivered after dark, so it wan't until the following day that I went out to check on the work. They did a beautiful job. AND they washed the exterior, and even cleaned the entire interior of the car to boot! read more

My wife's Kia Sportage had rock damage to the front end of the car from high winds along HWY 160. Made the claim thru Allstate and they low balled the claim but sent me a list of recommended body shops and Caliber Collision was on the list so I set the appointment thru them. From the very first call, they were great to deal with! Rita that answers the phone answered all of our questions and got the appointment set up right away. When we got there to drop the car off, Blanca came out and did the inspection and assured us that they would get everything that needed to be done covered by Allstate as they work closely with them. They quoted us two weeks but it was done in a about a week and everything that needed to be done got covered. When we went to pick it up, we were extremely happy as the car looked brand new! They did an outstanding job. The manager, I did not get his name, came out and talked to us for awhile and wanted to make sure we were happy with the job. I have now been to Caliber multiple times..... for one repair. They botched it so badly I had to go back to my insurance company who agreed the work was poorly done and paid another shop to fix it. When I initially picked up my vehicle from them after 2 weeks to fix hail damage, I noticed that the epoxy job on the roof welds was super sloppy, interior trim was loose, there was a new scratch on my tailgate, the cowling around the windshield wipers was loose and the backup camera did not work. They actually reinstalled the tailgate without the wiring harness for the camera! The manager at Caliber agreed to take a look at these items and after several more days at the shop called to tell me it was done. When I picked it up the second time, the epoxy had not been touched and the camera wiring harness still wasn't installed so he told me to come back in a few months when they slowed down. When I came back about a month later, the management and changed and I had to explain the whole story. During this time, both of my tail lights fell out. Caliber failed to secure them with hardware. By the time I got back to Caliber, the management had changed yet again and the manager was reluctant to fix anything. I showed him the Caliber "Lifetime Warranty" packet that I got originally and he finally scheduled it for warranty work. They finally installed the wiring harness, 10 months after I initially dropped my vehicle off. Instead of re-doing the epoxy seams, they just lathered more in there and made it look like a kindergartner's play doh experiment. When I came to pick it up, I expressed that it looked terrible and he said "that is as good as anyone can do". This is when I called my insurance agent and sent photos to the adjuster who agreed to take a refund from Caliber so I could get the work done well at another shop. During inspection at the other shop, they found that the cowling that Caliber "fixed" had been glued into place after all the mounting hardware was broken or stripped, most of the clips holding the interior trim were broken and the panel on the tailgate to access the wiring harness was cross threaded with the wrong size bolts to the point that a new tailgate was needed. The other shop billed my insurance company $4400 to fix Caliber's work. I wish I had never gone in there.... they were such a headache and cost me weeks of rental fees and hassle dropping off and picking up my vehicle over nearly a year. They did crappy work and then did crappier warranty work on top of it. read more

Full disclosure, I did not end up having my repairs done here. First impressions, both times I visited the parking lot was so over parked I was afraid I might get scraped up by parking there. Interior has a bunch of different businesses, unclear who to talk to. No greeting from receptionist. Eventually someone came out from a side office and asked if I needed anything. The guy who assessed the damage to my vehicle was clearly technically good. He suggested I grab a tea in the office while he looked things over. They didn't have sugar, didn't seem to care that it mattered to me. Petty I know, but it adds to the flavor of the place. I asked how long the work would take. They estimated 20 business days. I had another quote from a different and very reputable shop, their estimate was 10 days for exactly the same work. Apparently these folks only work 2.5 hours per day on each vehicle. I imagine they do a good job based on the reviews, but not an enjoyable lot to do business with. read more

Top-notch service in all aspects. My biggest praise is for the amazing customer service, primarily from Tyler. From start to finish, Tyler was in constant communication with me, giving me updates via phone on a daily basis, and updates via text on a daily basis as well. I knew everything that was going on with my car and he left me feeling great relief during what would have been a much more frustrating time. When I dropped the car off on a Monday, I was told I'd get it back on Friday unless other problems were detected. When other problems were detected, Caliber nonetheless went above & beyond to still get my car back to me by Friday. Now that's what I call commitment and integrity! It's always a real bummer when you have an accident and need repairs. I was very skeptical when I came in for the estimate, because I have had some not so good experiences with other repair shops. But, between Caliber Collision and the way they work seamlessly with Allstate Insurance and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the repair process was efficient, easy and they handled every detail with care, and superb competence. Got an expensive quote for some dents in the roof that were caused by falling snow. They said it could not be fixed so the whole roof had to be replaced. It was several thousand dollars (I think around $5k if I remember correctly) and they wanted to cut off the roof and weld in a new one, which we all know is not a good idea as it never has the same durability as the original. So instead... went to an old school body shop guy who took out the dents in 30 minutes and didn't charge me anything. Took a $100 gift card to him the next day which looking back was cheap on my part. It sucks that all of our insurance premiums are so much higher because the body shop industry takes advantage of insurance claims with exaggerated and unnecessary estimates. This was a prime example for that. I agree with some of the other commenters on the parking situation there. The cars definitely have a high risk of being banged up, and I did feel uncomfortable leaving my car in the parking lot. read more

We had an amazing experience with Caliber Collision. After a disastrous initial experience with an independent Boulder auto shop, we had them halt work on our car and took it to Caliber instead. That was an excellent decision. Everyone at Caliber was thorough, professional and skilled every step of the way. Brian, our service representative, was super-knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to; he was patient, thorough and clear, able to explain a complex situation in the most understandable of terms. The whole staff was polite and helpful. When the repairs were complete, they cleaned the car inside and out, and delivered it to us in spotless condition. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The body work was great, but I expected that. What most impressed me was their customers' service. I got DAILY text messages on the progress of my car and calls every other day to discuss where things were with the repair. Alex was absolutely amazing---friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They made the whole process including handling insurance and rental car company so easy--all I did was show up and everything was done and arranged for me! I haven't taken my vehicle here since I work nearby and see how horrible they treat their customer's vehicles. Poor storage, parking people's damaged cars along access roads to the business park they're located in and blocking traffic to other businesses. I constantly see their employees test driving newly repaired vehicles with Caliber Collision's name on the service sticker at extremely high rates of speed nearby. One tech drove past at 70mph down a one lane parking lot road in someone's nice Audi just a couple days ago... If you value your vehicle don't let anyone from this company near it. read more

Steve apologized for the lack of communications on my repair, and I respect that he accepted my criticism and would endeavor to do a better job of managing the work flows. This shop is under new management, and it's great. Steve and the gang could not have been better. I got into an accident a year ago, and took my car to this shop. Long story short: They kept my car for three months, gave ridiculous excuses as to why they weren't fixing it, and less than a year later my passenger side door that they supposedly fixed started to fall off. I was beyond frustration. However, when I took my car back I found that Steve, the new manager, completely overhauled this place and turned things around. He got rid of the old crew that were incompetent and they now focus on customer service. They fixed my door, cleaned my car, and had it back in my hands after only one day. So, I highly recommend this shop to everybody. Even if it means that you have to drive out of town to get it done. read more

This place will destroy your faith in the human spirit and simple, social conventions like promises. Caliber pledges to complete an estimate by Tuesday; plan on receiving it on Friday. When vandals apparently scratched my car's hood, Caliber didn't detect it until delivering my car back to me. That delayed the return of my car by an additional two days -- after having gone without for nearly two weeks. The bodywork on the car was fine. absolutely terrible, !! customer service is non existent, nobody has a clue what's going on . After trying several months to get my car fixed after they had repaired it and bumper was falling off, I brought my car in on a Wednesday. I was told they had put an aftermarket by they adjuster I was working with, and they had a new OEM bumper that was ready for paint and car would be done by Friday. At the beginning of this whole mess and a reason for delay was the adjuster was going to check on if they where going to cover a car rental, but after a month of waiting i rented my own car and took my car down to be repaired. Friday came and no phone call or update, i called Monday and was told that my bumper was an OEM part and they did not replace, but they needed two clips and would there that day and they would call when done.... no call or update on Monday or Tuesday. i called Wednesday morning and left MY phone number, Wednesday afternoon after not receiving a phone i called back and the adjuster stated he had called mu WIFES phone to say the car was done. read more

My experience was not good at all. Caliber received my car on 8/7/2017 and the car was declared totaled by the insurance company on 9/22/2017. Between those dates I received very little communication from Caliber and what I did receive was in response to my calls to them. I chose Caliber because they were select repair shop by my insurance company and approve by my car maker. I was to receive a firm estimate of repair cost and a date when repairs would be done. I didn't receive an estimate until about a week before the final disposition on 9/22/2017 and never received a date when repairs would be completed. The best part of my experience with Caliber was when I was given a new service consultant named Alex. He called me for the first time on 9/22/2017 and asked me what was going on with the car! I told him of my frustrations and he worked with my insurance and got a resolution that day. There are a lot more details that I have left out because no one would want to read about my almost 8 weeks of frustration. My recommendation to Caliber would be to set up a fool proof system for staying in touch with their customers during a repair experience. The current one failed me. read more

The customer service at Caliber is amazing! They estimated that it would take approx 2 weeks to repair my car, but the work was complete a full 4 days early. Tyler kept in constant contact with me regarding the status of my car via text and phone calls the entire time. Was very pleased with the level of courtesy shown, professionalism and the actual work done. They even replaced some pin-striping on the side of the car that was not damaged, but missing, that I hadn't even noticed! I took it 3 other places, all of which said bondo was inappropriate in this instance. Just took three weeks to provide an estimate. They are off the list of recommendations for my insurance company (who were equally upset) and I would suggest no one ever use them. Broke my bumper and tried to get into Abra in Boulder, what a fiasco. My insurance company USAA (amazing company) suggested Caliber. They are super! Got my car in quick and pre-ordered the parts. They ended up having to order 3 bumpers until they found the right one. David went the extra mile to make sure it was right. Total time in the shop was 2 days and the work looks great. I'm honestly really disappointed with the service here. I took my car in more than a month ago to get a quote on the damages following an accident. It took about two weeks for them to get me in, which was a bit irksome but about par for body shops, so no real complaint there. The adjuster I met with (I believe his name was Matthew Hammerly.) was very accommodating and polite. He came out and took a large number of pictures of my car, all around the area of damage, and told me that he'd probably have a quote for me by the end of the day. Fast forward to the following week, when I had still not received a call back. I decided to call again, and talk to Hammerly, who tells me that he had been very sick, but that he would make sure to get me the quote as soon as possible, and that if he couldn't get it done during the week he would do it over the weekend and call me Monday. Well, Monday rolls around, and you guessed it, no call. I called again that weekend, got a call center that told me they would pass along my message. I called AGAIN a couple days after that, got Hammerly, who told me that he was meeting with a customer and would call me back that afternoon. No calls have come to me since then. It's now been about 5 weeks since I brought my car in, and I still have received zero contact of any kind from Caliber. They have literally not called, texted or emailed me once to even acknowledge the delay. I now am facing another 3 weeks of waiting as I try to schedule with a different body shop for the quote. read more
