Not really an option for me, as I commute to work daily, and my insurance company wouldn't cover the cost of a rental. So I did a little digging, found CCS, and made a call. Within an hour the owner (Mike) was in my parking lot checking out the damage, and within a day he called to tell me that he'd looked around and found me a new door that could be put on my car in the parking lot of my Norcross office during the course of a workday. And for the same price the body shop I'd visited had quoted for me. The whole process was seamless and professional, and I've been very satisfied with the job they did. The Dent Repair Guy took a Quick Look at my car and said it looked like it was hit pretty hard because some plastic near my headlight was punctured by the metal in addition to the bumper popping out. He said that quote I had from caliber would easily be increased to $4000-$5000 because they'd say to replace the whole bumper, grill, headlight etc. He quoted me just $500 to realign everything. I waited in my car and he was done in 25 minutes! Good as new! I was so satisfied and relieved to have saved thousands of dollars for such minor repairs. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. I will say the tech did make one mistake and somehow forgot to put the actual lock lever back into the door. I did not notice it due to the fact that I had a carseat on that side and never opened the door from the inside. Fast-forward 2 years, the carseats have been moved to the back row, and we realize we cannot unlock the door manually after my wife was trying to exit after sitting in the back. I stopped by and spoke with Reggie not really sure if they would be willing to do anything about it since it had been over 2 years since the work was completed. Even though the mistake was made before Reggie's time, he immediately apologized and told me that he would take care of it. Communication with the auto body shop was a constant issue. When seeking updates on my car's status, I was consistently directed to contact the insurance company myself. This lack of transparency added to the frustration and inconvenience of the entire process. When I informed the auto body shop that I would be retrieving my car due to the insurance claim denial, I encountered further problems. The promised completion date was not met, and the final labor cost exceeded the previously agreed-upon amount by over $100. The lack of an itemized bill, combined with an unexpected $400 administrative fee, only added insult to injury. What's more, my car was held at the auto body shop for an extended period, well beyond the promised timeframe. Upon finally receiving my vehicle, it became evident that the service was subpar. Not only was the bumper expected to be retained by the shop without my consent, but essential parts were missing, and my backup cameras were no longer functional. The entire experience left me feeling as though I had been taken advantage of, with the auto body shop engaging in what seemed like a deliberate attempt to inflate costs and withhold essential components. This has undoubtedly been one of the most unsatisfactory interactions I've had with an auto service provider, and I would caution others to not follow the directions of your insurance company if they are affiliated with this autobody shop, especially if you are at a no-fault accident. I used the Yelp feature to send pictures and received a reply shortly after suggesting an in-person estimate. I called and left a message to schedule an appointment, expecting to wait a couple days before even getting a callback. Imagine my (pleasant) surprise when Mr. Anthony called me back within a few minutes! (Green flag #1) I was told to come by Sunday between 8am and noon (green flag #2). I pulled up at about 11am and Mr. Anthony came out to take a look. The business page says "No job is too big or too small" and they stand on that. One thing I really appreciated is that he included me in the process. He simply asked whether I was looking to have the whole fender replaced (I wasn't), went inside and got his tools. It was that easy. No overselling. No overcharging. No frills. Just an honest gentleman who saw a small job, as it turned out) and made the time to do it. Yall. I drive an old Toyota and have interacted with my share of auto/body techs, honest and dishonest. Mr. Anthony was communicative, timely and very fair! I won't hesitate to come back.
