Pretty dang good is all I can say! Well worth a drive for delicious coffee and food or a day at a coffee shop. It was a little difficult to spot from the road as I couldn't see a sign (but I swear there is one), but once I found it, it was easy to navigate and had plenty of parking. All the workers were very pleasant and went above and beyond for a coffee shop. I order the chicken salad croissant (I asked to sub for regular bread but still got a croissant, minor mistake and it was still good) and the Smokey Mountain Cold Brew. Chicken salad was not my all time favorite, but was very good! But holy cow, that cold brew was so delicious and wasn't overwhelming in sugary flavor either. The place was full with some people doing work and some groups socializing. I sat in the middle shared section and moved to a small table when it opened up. I don't think the middle section has outlets (correct me if I'm wrong), so getting to a table was necessary for me to do any work. WiFi was very reliable. When searching for coffee shops in the area, Caliber came up near the top of the Yelp list for a reason! Im really glad I went here and I will be back for sure. I just stopped in for a quick cup of batch brewed coffee to go on the two occasions I have been here but I could see myself hanging out here working and a friend that came with me loved his vanilla latte. The baristas were very nice, telling me about the batch brew options and giving me info on where the beans were roasted. I love it when the barista knows about the coffee he/she is serving. Unfortunately that isnt the case at all coffee shops! I went out on a limb and got a flavored coffee. I got it because it was recommended by the barista and it had a name from Seinfeld...FESTIVUS! The flavor was great and a little bit of creamer smoothed it out perfectly. Definitely worth my money. In fact, I left my training seminar where there was FREE COFFEE and came here because of how good it is. If you are in the area, this is the coffee shop for you! read more

I love me a local coffee place. With Starbucks on every corner, I'd rather drive by them and find a local small business. I do find myself in starbucks plenty, but these places are much better. The staff here was very friendly, they have a good size seating area, some local artist's work for sale, as well as little gift items. They all seemed to be made by other small business owners. I love how they all are working together. The coffee was really good, and I liked the vibe of the place. Do yourself a favor and get some java here. read more

I just changed jobs and am now working in Donelson. I tried Caliber Coffee today for a cappuccino over my lunch, and I'm glad that I know it's here! While not big, Caliber has several tables where you can sit to work, study, or hang out. When I arrived around 1:30 on a Wednesday, there were one or two free two-top tables, but the rest were taken. Most people seemed to be working or studying! I had a classic cappuccino (very good), but their coffee menu is varied and creative. The barista was great, and the coffee was fast. I'm 100% sure I'm going to be a regular here over my lunch breaks when I just want a coffee and a place to read my book! (They also have a drive thru if you need your coffee to go!) So glad to have such a great coffee shop near my work! read more

Had lunch here the other day with my Dad. The building was slightly hard to see because the name is not on the building. It is however on a sign. The place had a good layout and menu options. I didn't get to try the coffee yet but had the Beet Salad and Chicken Salad. The beet salad was a good portion size, fresh and had a good mix of flavors. I don't often like many dressings but I liked this one! My dad said his chicken salad was better than it looks. . He gobbled it up but left the grapes. The chicken salad came on a croissant which always better! This is a nice new addition to the Donelson area! read more

I loooove their food! I've shared with my coworkers and they ask me everyday when I'll go back to get breakfast again! I even rave about this place to my customers at my job! I'm big on customer service though and I'm never greeted when I come to pick up my order. I also don't like that I'm not notified when the order is completed so when I get the smoothies they're kinda watered down or melted. I'd suggested making them last at least. Such an amazing find! Needed real coffee before heading out of town. Got an iced green tea and iced lavender latte. Both were delicious and made perfectly. Ordered bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit- cooked perfectly. Waffles for my kids- outstanding. Perfect size for littles and included butter and syrup also with a side of bacon. Avocado toast was massive and delicious! We also ordered a cranberry orange muffin that was perfectly baked. Not only did I appreciate that all of this was very reasonably priced, but the staff was so patient and got our order done correctly. They even included a pup cup for our dog as we ate outside at their adorable outdoor seating area. I will definitely return when in the area. read more

Caliber is one of my favorite local coffee shops to frequent on Saturdays. I love the fact that they have a drive-thru, especially during my lazy days. The staff are always so nice and personable. My go-to coffee is the cinnamon dulce latte which I've gotten my boyfriend stuck on as well. If you're in the Donelson area, definitely check this place out! read more

I've been going to Caliber regularly for probably about a year and a half now, and I'm finally taking the time to write a VERY positive review. The coffee is always amazing! I have never had a better cold brew than what I get here. Espresso drinks and drip are always good as well! I've tried several things off the food menu and several pastry types, and have never been disappointed! I'd like to make a specific shout out to their bagels, especially recently. I think they've changed their bagel recipe or something, but recently the bagels have been absolutely amazing. So soft on the inside, with a wonderful crust. Tastes so fresh, and is an absolute treat. I usually go for the Jake Bob for the added bacon! The staff there is so sweet and amazing, and really makes me feel at home. I think their genuine kindness is one of the things that has gotten me through 2020. (love you guys!! ) I would recommend this place so highly to anyone visiting or anyone local! They're a great shop that has amazing food and coffee, supports local artists, and have a great impact on the Donelson community. Only negative I can think of is I can't enjoy st*rbucks coffee anymore. Caliber has raised my coffee standards :-) And one last thing! Their ordering process is really great, especially with covid precautions. Drive thru is always easy and fast, and you can always order at the counter inside, but they have a great mobile ordering process! They use ToastTab, so you can order, pay, and tip in the app, and everything is at the table inside to the right when it's ready. I usually place my order when i leave my house, and by the time I get there, I just pop in real quick and pick it up. I can't recommend it enough! read more

Drive thru usually moves swiftly (comparing to Starbucks). Staff always wear masks and social distancing inside the shop is enforced. Excellent breakfast and lunch menu, and a very imaginative drink selection. I'm not a Hogwarts type of guy, but the Butterbeer Latte is deluxe! You owe it to yourself to try this unique blend of tasty flavors. The atmosphere is very "hometown" in a great way, as well. Indoor and outdoor seating is inviting, whether in a group or solo. One the more characteristic attributes of Caliber Coffee is the warmth and knowledgeability of the staff. They seem to really care about the customer's experience. Very fun spot. Definitely your neighborhood coffee shop. It's exciting to have such a good daily spot that has ample seating for the ones that work or need a place to study during the day, but they also do events at night during the week. And for the coffee, their drip coffee has a clean taste that definitely is way better than those other shops that taste burnt and bitter. Their lattes and americanos so far have been on point as well, not to mention if you have a sweet tooth or need a nosh, they have pastries and sandwiches to curb the appetite as well. Lastly, the service has always been bright and friendly and it's like they're having a great time. That comes with great chemistry and a fun team that all know what the goal is and how to achieve it together. Also, work is more fun when you're having fun. Seems to be a local favorite spot. For reference I ordered a smoothie and the avocado toast. Their smoothies are a bit sweet for me but I think the sweetness (agave syrup) can be adjusted upon request. The bread for the avocado toast tasted homemade. Ordered eggs as the topper to the avocado toast but requested them on the side which was no problem. Items were separately boxed which was nice as well. read more

Went through the drive thru and their menu was only up at the window so unless it's not your first time then you got to wait until you're at the window. The online menu did not reflect what's at the drive thru. Not a big deal. Got a charcoal mocha with soy. It was so unique and the flavor was amazing! Loved the hint of coconut. I love coffee and go to Starbucks a lot and make the rest at home. I just don't trust independent shops to make iced coffee the way I like it (hot fresh coffee on ice, extra ice, in a plastic cup). Independent shops make it too tangy, too light, too expensive and not enough ice. However, not only is Caliber priced right (unlimited coffee for $3) but I can get the bean I want, in a plastic cup with lots of ice with no hassle at all. But even if you don't like coffee that much, you might want to come for breakfast. At the $5 level you can get a breakfast sandwich on bagel, biscuit or wheat toast that will be filling. At the $10 level you can get what I got. The Dad Bod is 2 large biscuits, bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy in a brown container. Probably two pounds of food. Too much for one person....almost. Also at the $10 level, my dad got the smoke salmon bagel and said it was perfect. read more
