Highlights: Great build end result, clear and quick communication, on-time and quality work, including fantastic sub-contractors. Eddie worked with us to add-on an additional bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet, complete with french doors, and stucco to match our existing house. Scope of work: -Worked with his architect to design our project, work within city building codes, and get our plans approved, accurately and fast. -Removed a mature tree -Relocated existing AC compressor from backyard to roof and reconnected system (done in several hours) -Installed mini-split for the new room -Relocated electrical panel running to power pole -Dug and poured foundation, framed, installed windows and doors, seamlessly attached roof to existing roof, insulation, matching drywall, recessed lighting with dimmers, & electrical including plugs and installing fixtures. -Plumbing for new bathroom, including connecting sewer to existing line, and beautiful tile installation. -Small deck with composite decking. -Artificial turf for the backyard All of our inspections were approved on the first pass, and Eddie was able to get multiple inspections complete at once, worked with the city and power company through all steps of the process, and made it all easy. Eddie made sure we knew exactly when people were showing up to do work, and we had no surprises. He was there throughout all steps of the process to make sure the contractors knew exactly what needed to be done, and communicated any changes we may have had, and made sure everything was done right. The finished product. We love it. All our friends and family have told us how seamlessly the new room integrates into our existing house, and how nice the room and backyard turned out. We selected the finishes: Flooring, tile, lighting, shower door, door and window sizes, stucco color, and Eddie worked with us to bring them to life. He allows you to bring your own style to the project, and executes your vision, but he also brings his experience and expertise to make sure you select finishes that will last and work well together.

Assaf and Ron were great, and so were all their subcontractors. They are extremely experienced and had no issues completing the work and passing each inspection the first try. We went through another service to get permits, and unfortunately it was missing an entire page. Assaf and Ron worked directly with the engineer to get the page drafted, submitted to Burbank, and magically had it approved within 2 weeks, with no disruption at all to progressing the work. They completed the work within their estimated time. They also cleaned up every day. We were both able to continue working from home through the entire process. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that was done. We got about 8 quotes and theirs came right in the middle. They gave a detailed quote and there were no surprises with the payments later. Their greatest and most appreciated skill is communication. They always picked up the phone or texted/called you back within minutes. This was our first major construction project and they answered all our million questions and had the relationships with the vendors to modify items to what we were hoping for. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. You can see from the before and after pictures it all turned out beautifully. Thanks Assaf and Ron!!

I had the absolute pleasure of working directly with Jose, the owner, and I can't say enough good things about him and his team. Jose took on a massive project for us: building an ADU, a full room extension, and an entirely new garage from the ground up. From the very first nail to the final finishing touch, Jose was 100% in control. His attention to detail, communication, and commitment to excellence made a potentially stressful experience feel seamless. What stood out the most? His integrity. Jose only makes recommendations that are genuinely in the best interest of the customer -- never upselling, never cutting corners. He takes immense pride in his professional craftsmanship, and it shows in every square inch of his work. He was kind, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. This was a long project with many moving parts, and throughout the process, I got to know Jose beyond just a contractor -- he became someone I consider a friend. The hardest part about hiring someone to work on your home is finding someone with strong work ethics and impeccable skills. Jose and American Professional Builders are exactly that. Thank you, Jose, for building out our dream home -- a place our family and in-laws can now enjoy for generations. We'll absolutely be working with you again for all future projects.

My project began with a dream of building a cozy outdoor kitchen in our backyard. They did it all -- from the block wall construction to the stone masonry. Their team transformed my idea into a stunning reality. Weather permitting, we enjoy it during breakfast outside every day. Since then, I've used them on various construction projects I've been involved with -- doing everything from siding to floor installation to concrete work. Prices are reasonable, I can rely on them (which is more than one could say about most people), and they just have a personal touch that gives me peace of mind when I have work to do that could otherwise take over all my thoughts. This review was long overdue, but I felt I had to after the last project I just used them for completed. Hopefully it's helpful to someone else.

If I had to rate the service on a scale of 10, it would be 10. Amir, the project manager, was punctual, respectful, and attentive to detail. But, you don't need to "break the bank" to purchase quality and value. Build Method stayed on track despite issues we had with material supplied by third-party vendors. What we appreciated most was their level of communication. There existed a certain level of transparency that we appreciated.
