I had great experience making new master bathroom. Super responsible and care for the small details. I'm highly recommend, the job was fast, quality and clean, always answer to any questions with patience and the price was reasonable with high quality.

Eli and company are amazing!! We started our remodeling projects 6mos ago..weren't sure what wanted but knew exactly what we needed.talking with Eli eased our fears. We basically got a whole new house! They did AC/Heating, new tankless water heater, retrofitted the house, electrical rewiring, new plumbing, solar panels, flooring throughout, new windows, insulation throughout, new painting outside, interior paint throughout, new kitchen and bath.Everything turn out beautiful. Eli kept constant contact with us throughout the project. The office was amazing Orly and Tammy kept everything running smoothly. Any problems that came up they jumped on it quickly and got it resolved. It was a pleasure working with them and they're team.

Eli, Oren and their team are AWESOME!!! From planning to execution, all the way to completion of our bathroom remodeling. They listened to our "wants, must haves and wishful / wild ideas" and executed flawlessly. We would've never imagined our master bathroom to be that big. Same square footage, just layout changes. The time they took to plan with us, they both took time and revised a few more times and we gained so much room just by changing the layout. They manage to give us a his and hers huge rain shower and a his and hers handheld body spray hose with 2 pocket shampoo niche with a bench and a linear drain underneath the bench. They were very professional and clean. They do not leave the job site without cleaning up the debris and construction mess produced for the day. Orly and Alonzo handling the "other" follow ups related to the project was so pleasant to work with! I could go on and on and this review would be soooo long to read. I could not recommend them enough! I would definitely call them again for any future projects!

I mean the pictures say it all! Italian tile, beautiful finishes, I love my new bathroom. They took down two walls for me, doubled the shower size from before and put a beautiful new swing door. Thank you for bringing my dream to life guys really appreciate it. West Hollywood remodel.

Master bathroom they finished for me in November 2021.

Oren, Orly and Eli were the people I dealt with directly to work with C & L for my construction project (huge master bathroom) for my brand new home. I won't get into too many details as to why my brand new home needed a new master bathroom, but simply put, the original builders built a non-functional bathroom that didn't drain or slope correctly. So everything from tile, plumbing, sloping, waterproofing, etc needed to all be done from scratch. Everyone there has been amazing to work with. Oren and Eli are the owners and are super knowledgeable about construction as they do ground-up luxury projects. Orly the office manager was super friendly and helpful. Eli had promised me from the beginning there would be no change of order during the process. This is quite a big promise, and I figured it was a sales pitch initially, but he stuck to his word throughout the process. A variety of unforeseen issues arose mid-project due to shoddy original construction, and he always took care of it out of his own pocket. I always felt extremely supported throughout the entire process. I am not an expert in home construction by any means, but Oren and Eli took the time to really teach me the different options I had. I never felt rushed or pressured into making quick decisions. Eli probably stopped by my house at least 15 times during the 2-month project. He is practically part of the family now. I have already recommended this group to my brother, best friend, and cousin who all have multimillion dollar homes in Brentwood/Mandeville Canyon. I've also recommend this group to my parents. I say this to stress to you how much I trust this team. The best of the best hands down from a customer service perspective. From a quality standpoint? Extremely high quality outcome. I've attached a picture of the completed bathroom. But I watched every stage of the demolition and construction - and everything was done with precision and care. Take a look at the final product in the photo. Every single person who has seen it in person has said "Wow". It looks incredible. I don't think the picture does it justice. Hiring C & L was the best hiring decision I've made in a while. I look forward to working with them on new projects as I continue to acquire new pieces of property. I would give them 10 stars out of 5 if I could. If you are debating between C & L and another contractor, do yourself a favor and choose C & L. You will be so happy you did. Good luck to all you homeowners and thank you C & L for an incredible experience and an amazing master bathroom.

I really enjoyed working with this firm from start to finish. They completed a remodel of my condo after starting with the "bones" of my unit after a complete demolition. They worked along side my designer without any problems to ensure a team approach to completing the construction of my unit. They are responsible and very trustworthy and I recommend them to all of my friends who are looking for a general contractor.

C&l construction did a wonderful job remodeling our master bathroom! They were able to start the job when promised, and every step went By the schedule. The remodel took about 3 weeks including all the inspections. The workers was always on time and very professional they made sure I was happy everyday they finished working. They always made sure to leave the house clean! Overall we are very pleased with their work, and we will use them again for any other work we may have. Thank you C&L Construction.

What a fantastic job! I contacted C & L Construction for a bathroom remodeling project. Their expertise, work quality, reliability, and customer service were stellar. They took care of every detail starting with the demolition of the old space and then putting up the new drywall, installing a new electrical system, plumbing, tiles, fixtures, lighting, skylight and scheduling inspections. The crew was very professional with great skills and kept the workspace clean and safe for us at all time. The bathroom looks gorgeous and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Eli and Oren are an amazing team, great professionals, very creative, and above all wonderful people. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering remodeling their home.

Posts put low in ground, no protection from water

My parents had C&L build a deck for them in 2017. There was a number of problems during construction and installation that one should not expect from a company with supposed "top-notch service", as their website states. We are currently expanding the deck with someone else, and while removing the skirt to start the expansion we saw some additional problems that were not visible 3 years ago on the completed deck. Unfortunately, even though she was very unhappy with the finished project, my mother signed the paperwork to just get these guys out of here, so we were unable to contest it once I came to look at the work done. We simply decided that we would never do business with this company again and tell everyone we know about our experience with them. However, after uncovering even more of this job, we are fed up. We are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so that when this happens again, they might be held accountable. I have pictures I took from back then, as well as some I took just recently after new construction started, and decided to write this review as the poor quality still irks my parents and I. My parents paid $14,000 for a ~400 sq ft deck that was not built with the "quality materials" or "skilled staff" that was promised. At that price, it should have been built with real redwood or Trex decking. Instead we got home depot grade lumber, and shoddy workmanship. Part of the deck was installed over an old cement porch. Either construction adhesive was not used or not enough of it was used, causing the boards laid over it (which were warped because apparently it was cheap lumber) to bow up from the old porch and bounce when you walk on them. I had to correct this using cement screws and directly fasten the deck boards into the porch. I had to do this fairly soon after completion 3 years ago. While installing the vertical posts for the deck, they poured the concrete around the 4x4 posts, creating a depression immediately around the post. While it was a pressure treated 4x4, over time this will cause water to pool around the post, and seep up into and rot it out. My parents caught this at the time and had to make them pour additional concrete to prevent pooling, but some of the posts are still very low (pics 1& 2). They used wooden fence boards for the front skirt, which they only stained the front of and THEN cut the boards (with a rough cut which ruined some of the stain anyway *pic 3*) to length so they sat snugly on the dirt below the deck. There was no sealing the bottom of the boards, and they didn't even level the ground so after I dug a drainage ditch, all of the boards were different lengths (pic 4) The walking surface of the deck was not stained until after it was installed and only the visible side was stained, just like the skirt. It looked like they only smeared a bit of stain over the surface after the fact, not caring at all that you could clearly see that there was no stain between the boards. They left three out of four sides of ALL of the boards with no stain or sealer, which would have caused them to rot more quickly than they normally would (pics 5, 6, & 7). My 60 year old mother and I had to spend 3 days on our hands and knees in the LA summer heat with small paintbrushes repainting in-between ALL of the deck boards to hopefully give it a bit more longevity, but there is nothing we can do for the underside. There are numerous unprofessional cuts made with a skill saw (ironic) in the wood, where rather than make precise cuts that would look good finished, there are over cuts that are visible while sitting on the deck. (pics 8 & 9). Most of these we tried patching with wood putty, but again, its a fix WE had to do after C&L finished. Many of the boards used for the guard rail have visible lumberyard stamp marks on them, and when initially installed (pics10 & 11), still had the barcode stickers on them, that had just been stained over. Again my mother and I had to restain all of it. There were spots where the stain was uneven, or spilled and left to dry, not even in inconspicuous areas, but on the front skirt and the steps (pics 7 & 13) They also weren't careful while applying stain so that around the bottom of my parents house there is stain on the walls next to the deck (pics16 & 17) Not even all of the posts they used match. I don't know if they ran out of posts, but some are pine, and others are pressure treated 4x4s. (pics 14 & 15). Additionally, one of the guys cracked a window while handling a long board (honest mistake) and they offered to fix the window, only to turn around and say that "they don't make windows that size" (6'x3') and that they needed to replace the whole thing and could do the whole house while they were at it. So they tried to spring a whole other project on my overwhelmed mother. In conclusion, the best thing you can say about this deck is that it is built. AVOID C&L Construction AT ALL COSTS.

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

The project ran about six months. The short version: we'd hire them again. The longer version: Jacob, the design lead, is the reason we went with them. He has a genuine passion for old buildings and pushed to preserve original details that another contractor would have torn out without a second thought. That instinct matters when you're working on something irreplaceable. Ken managed the project more quietly but kept things moving. And when issues came up after the job was done -- after the final check had been cashed -- Jacob, Ken, and the owner Sage came back and made it right. That's not nothing. That's actually rare. Were there setbacks? Yes. If you've hired contractors in LA, especially on older properties, you know what you're signing up for. New Dawn isn't immune to that reality. They're not the cheapest option and not the most expensive either. But they're the kind of crew that stands behind their work, and in this city, that's worth writing a review about.

Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.
