Cali Tint - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Dublin, California

Their pride, honesty and integrity in their work speaks for themselves. A few days after a I made my appt, another matter came up but still allowed them some time to work. They were up front and told me that since my model was new to them (11 Lexus CT200h) they needed to take their time to make sure they knew what they were doing. They coulda botched it and rushed to get the whole job done but instead they only completed the rear of the windows with a promise to reschdule for the front. The work was nothing less than superb. They are also some pretty cool guys there that make you feel like you got the coolest car on the lot...even the kid with the beat down 88 excel Has got a pimped ride there! read more

Was so impressed with the service here. The guys were friendly and they completed the job quickly. The window tint looks amazing. I am very pleased and highly recommend them! read more

I just called these guys for a quote. They took the time to explain in great detail and reasoning why they would rather not do the job. I definitely appreciate the honesty and learned a few things. Saved some money by not having to do unnecessary work, so that is fantastic. If my other other windows were not already tinted, they would of course have my business. read more

Great prices, excellent customer service! Gerald went so far as to drive me back and forth the office (since I was only about 2 miles away). I went with the darkest tint you could go, limo tint. The end result was a great tint on a Toyota Camry 2008, and a great first time experience with Cali Tint. read more

The first time I went here, I knew I was in a good place but man did he take a long time to finish the job! HE told me 5pm but I picked it up around 11pm. I wound up hanging out in the shop around 8 or 9pm and watched the owner finish up the back windows of my car and all I can say is WOW! He took such good care of my car and made sure that every piece and part was accounted for and put back better than it was when it left the factory. The man is great at what he does and my end result was simply spectacular! almost 3 years later and my tint hasn't shrank, bubbled, peeled, anything at all! It looks just as good now as it did when I first got it installed. In fact, I liked his work on my car so much, I brought my dad's XC70 in to get all 7 panes of glass darkened and that car looks just as great as mine does. My dad sprang for the expensive stuff and he had more windows than me but for my own car, what I got and how much I paid was absolutely spectacular! Great value, I wouldn't be able to find a better shop! (even if I wanted to) read more

These guys are truly wonderful. I got home safely because of their professionalism. I wish nothing but good fortune and karma for them. God bless!! read more

Excellent service & overall experience. They are professional & did an amazing job. I had scheduled an appointment the week prior. I brought in a truck to have the windows tinted. Time was spent going over tint options and what would be best for my application/needs. I went across the street to get a bite to eat & to pass some time. I got a call about 2 hours later & it was completed. The tint looks great & is very reasonable for quality product. I've had a handful of previous vehicles tinted by various shops in northern and southern California & this is on par with the best I've seen. I had an great experience with this shop. read more

I've owned a lot of cars over the last 25+ years and they all had tint. I've been to many places, but none of them were as good as these guys. They guarantee their work, which is a must when it comes to tint and they've been in their location long enough to know they're not a fly by night. Their prices are higher than some others, but if you want the high quality hybrid film and you want it done right the first time and not need to go back, this is the place. It's been a few months and not a single bubble. Service is excellent too. Just keep in mind that you're not dealing with Neiman Marcus salespeople. So, if you're expecting that, ask yourself where you'll get that in the auto tint industry. Be happy that they're honest, hard working guys that take pride in their work. read more

This place is where to go. Best service and quality. Aldo worked until 9 PM to finish my car for me. I will send everyone to you guys. Thanks! read more

Absolutely love Cali tint! They came highly recommended by a friend. I have been there twice over the past year and have been treated with nothing but respect and professionalism. They handled my brand new baby with utmost care. You never feel you are being up sold or being forced to buy something you don't want or need. Very cool group of guys! read more

I needed to have some tint applied to some windows at my business. I called several places who either didn't want to come out for such a small job, or didn't tint windows that couldn't be driven into their shop. Called Cali Tint and they said they'd be happy to. They quoted me a price that at first seemed kind of high but after thinking about the fact that they're in Dublin and I'm in Berkeley meant they had to pay someone for a couple hours of travel time plus gas etc. The work looks great and when they were done the work areas was spotless. These windows get a lot of late afternoon sun and the rooms are now much cooler than before and the glare is gone. read more

Had my daughter's tint removed from the car she just bought. It was all bubbly and really hard to see through. I spoke to Gerald and could not be more happy with the communication and service through the whole process. Thanks Cali Tint! read more

I recently had both of my daughters car windows tinted at this location. I've had other cars done here too. The price was great and the quality of work is outstanding. These guys are polite and very nice to work with. They even stayed on the job until late at night to finish both cars. I highly recommend Cali Tint. read more

This place is extremely professional and they do great work. I have had 5 cars tinted and this by far and away was the best experience I've ever had. They gave me a ride to work while they worked on my car. They did an amazing job on the tint as well as a great job explaining the difference between the different options. When I went to pick up the car he asked me if I was aware that my front drivers seat was stuck. I of course knew about it and even took it to my mechanic who tested some fuses and couldn't figure out the problem so he was going to research it and get back to me. These guys took my seat apart and in 10 minutes found the problem (faulty wiring) and fixed it for me for FREE and I didn't even ask them to do it. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Fantastic. Really impressed with the quality work, quick turnaround, and friendly service. Will bring future business to Cali Tint

Excellent experience here! I came here about a month ago and had windows tinted on my F-150. I am thrilled with the quality of work and the customer service was exceptional. They demonstrated and explained the differences in the tints with no pressure to upgrade. Just give them time to do their work and you will be happy. They even hooked my three-year-old up with a stuffed animal which was beyond expectations! Thanks again guys, I will be back. read more

Gerald did a great job! He was able to fit me in on the same day. The results are perfect. I'll definitely be coming back when I get a new car. read more

I had my home windows tinted. I set up an appointment to come out to our home and give me an estimate. He patiently explained the different window films to me, and what I could expect from each of them. I felt the quote was very fair. I picked our film, set up an appointment. They arrived promptly and I am very happy with the work that was done. I highly recommend them. Ah, if only every business was run this way. read more

Cali Tint did an amazing job on my new truck and matched the factory tint perfectly! Gerald was very clear about what they did and how it matched factory tint and also said any problems they would fix, no questions asked. Looks great so far and will definitely refer anyone their way and for any of my cars in the future. read more

Best tint shop I've ever been to. Aldo is very professional and passionate about his job. He took the time to explain everything and make sure the job was done correctly. Most tint shops tell you can't roll the windows down for a few days, Cali tint removes the panels on your car during installation so that you can roll your windows down right away. Amazing job!!! read more

We came to Cali tint after getting a less than satisfactory tint job at another place. We had a dot matrix issue that needed major fixing. Cali tint was able to get us in right away and they did an amazing job. They were quick and friendly. We also didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for them to fix out tint. This is the only place we will bring our cars to from now on. read more

Brought my Frs to get back 15% and sides 30% as well as a sun strip, they did a magnificent job and it only took a few hours

Aldo has always taken care of me over the years. 4 cars down, one more on the way. No reason to look anywhere else.

Awesome!! Can I just say that I have had my last 3 cars Tint done here and they did such a great job! So, I just brought my new car to them last night at the end of day to see when they were available. Aldo told me that his schedule was full and he was going on vacation and wouldn't be back until the end of month. I was a bit bummed and he said if you want I will do it right now for you. Of course I said "Yes" and couldn't believe that he offered to do it when he was getting ready to close the shop for the night and go on vacation. That is true customer service and such professionalism! What a way to run your business!! I appreciated it so much ! Great guys, great work and a commitment to customers. You are truly the best! read more

Best price in the tri valley, shows the different types of tint and demonstrates it in their high tech machine ( tells percentage of glare it keeps out ). Guys are laid back , friendly and do a quality job. I would recommend this place to all my friends. read more

I'll agree with everyone about the owner being a perfectionist. I've taken all my cars to him and he won't let it out the door if there is the slightest imperfection. I takes a few hours longer to get the job done, but its well worth the wait. I Agree with the previous post about having the feeling like you're "talking with an old friend" while you're there. Gerald and his staff are great! The guy can hold a great conversation while carrying a squeegee in his mouth and installing tint all at the same time! Definitely taking all my future cars to this guy, no matter how far away i live. read more

This is THE place to get your car tinted. I have had cars done several other places, but this is the best job by far. These guys are artists and it shows. The owner offered to to come in and do my car on a SUNDAY! Can't beat that kind of service. Excellent quality and reasonable price = very happy customer! read more

It's always a pleasure to find a business owner who loves his or her work. Gerald is a master at his craft. Quality work & materials, no frills or BS. My husband and I have now gone to Cali Tint for 4 cars and each one has been well taken care of, with dedication and all the cars look amazing. The tint is still perfect almost 4 years later and I love the lifetime warranty and the amazing customer service from the guys. read more

First off, I've found too many places in this economy that do not give the level of customer care that I would expect when they are handed hard earned dough. With that said, this place has taken my expectation above and beyond. All my questions were answered correctly with no b.s. I've researched tints for a while and these guys proved their knowledge. EXTREMELY friendly and courteous. Like having old friends work on your car! Both guys at the shop are very serious about their work and ensuring your satisfaction. And their prices were very fair too. To the point of being fairly obsessed about getting it right! But the end result was awesome looking! My 2008 GTI looks perfect now! I will definitely be telling people about this shop! read more

Just had my car done by these guys and it looks great! They're very meticulous and take their time to get the job done, but it's well worth the wait because these guys are perfectionists. I imagine they work on every car like they're working on their own, and that's what true customer service means to me. I'd definitely use them again for any film related needs! read more
