I came to the shop without an appointment not expecting to be helped that day but they were kind enough to take my car and work on it after hours to get my tint done. The car looks great and the quality is fantastic! I definitely recommend! read more

Excellent work, fair prices and friendly service. I made an appointment about a week out, dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that night around 8pm. They guarantee their work and are really good at what they do. Will refer them to others! Very happy with the results. read more

It has been 2 years since I dropped my car off at Cali Tint to have some dope, dark, dank tint dropped on them windows. True to their word, zero bubbles, zero issues, and it looks fly as hell. The ladies are like DAYUMN. But seriously. Quality job. read more

Great service, quality of work is awesome. Got my Tesla model x tinted here and it looks great. I will highly recommend Cali tint.

I recently got my car tinted here and I am very happy with the results. I did a bit of research beforehand because I'm extremely picky about my car. Cali Tint was on the more expensive side, but had many good reviews. I decided to spend the extra money and I'm glad that I did. They had my car the whole day but did an excellent job. Bottom line: If you're looking for a cheap fast tint job, this probably isn't your place. If you want quality tint done right then I would recommend Cali Tint. read more

Service Requested: Window Regulator Replacement and Moon/Sunroof Repair Car Year/Make/Model: 2000 Honda Accord Coupe Appointment: No; last minute Saturday 3pm walk-in Service Time: approx. 2 hours Value: 5-Star; the best price for this service Be sure to ask for Gerald. He's the Man! Knows his craft well and is easy to talk to and understand. When G found out I was driving from the East Bay, he called a glass shop for me in Union City so I didn't have to make the long commute to his shop. You heard me right, he called another shop closer to where I lived to save me the drive. He talked to a guy at the auto glass shop about my window problem(s), asked if they could fix it and what the cost for part and labor would be - - when he mentioned that he was sending me over to their shop, the guy told him they were already closed despite their website saying the shop closed at 3pm. BLUF: A business who easily puts the needs of customers first, will always have my business. Cali Tint took care of me and did such an amazing job on my Mom's car windows!!! I'll be driving to Dublin for all my tint, glass and window repairs. Thank you, G! Appreciate your honesty, professionalism, knowledge and hard work ethics. Will be sending everyone I know to your shop. read more

I have had two of my BMWs tinted here. Both of them came out looking real sharp, no issues. Bottom line is they do a good job. Dont expect a super "professional" and polished place these guys are just regular no frills guys that are very good at their trade. read more

I've had 4 cars tinted here now and have never had any problems-- They are a great group of guys and the owner takes very good car of the cars he works on-- Some of my cars have been $100k+ in price and the one time I brought a car to "another" shop they nicked the door panel up.. Cali Tint is the ONLY place I trust now-- You might find a slightly cheaper place to go but the tint job won't be as nice and they might nick up your door panels (that was a lesson learned)... read more

We purchased a new truck and took it in to Paul for a tint. We called and got an appointment the very next day. The quality of work, price, and warrantee are unbeatable. This is actually the second vehicle we've brought here and his work is immaculate. I've recommend this shop to a few of my friends and they've all been very happy with his work as well. read more

They just tinted my BMW 535i. I am so happy with their work. I've never tinted my windows before and I wish I done this years ago. The temperature inside my car is cooler than I ever imagined and it looks amazing too. These guys are professional. I dropped off the car at 9 am this morning and had it back by 4pm. More importantly just because I rolled up in a BMW I paid the same as if I pulled up in a Honda or Toyota. The price was great and the product and service even better. These guys will do it right. read more

Fast, professional and well priced. These guys are extremely talented. I drove to them from Dublin and it was well worth it. I will be a lifetime customer. read more

After considering a few tint places, I decided on Cali Tint, and I'm happy I did. Gerald personally worked on my GS300. I got their Wincos tint 20% and after almost a month it looks great. They took great care of my car. It took them a while to finish my car because I had them remove the existing tint. I had to pick up my car the next day, but it was well worth the wait. They were a little more pricey because of the brand of tint I wanted, but I was more than willing to pay for a job well done. There are very few places that work with Wincos tint, and Cali Tint is one of the few in the Bay Area. I highly recommend them, no matter what tint you want. read more

Best tint shop in the area! I just had my Ford Edge done and it looks amazing. Very professional and clean work. He's incredibly thorough and makes sure the job is done right the first time which I appreciate. Now the only hard part for me will be keeping my windows rolled up for the first 48 hours. I highly recommend this shop for your window tinting needs. Thanks again Cali Tint!!! read more

These guys are the real deal. They go the extra mile and have decades of meticulous precision in their craft. Highly recommend.

I found Cali Tint through Yelp when I was researching local places. I like to do my research and actually had a list of about 5 places I contacted, some based on referrals from friends. I did my research in the evening and called all of the locations at about 9pm to leave messages. I was actually surprised when Aldo picked up! (Of the other messages I left - 3 never bothered to even respond and call me back.) Aldo explained the process and invited me down to visit the shop where I was able to see the material and the cars they were working on. My 2014 Mustang looks great and although it has only been a few months, I'm sure I can depend on them should I need any follow up. I like that Cali Tint is local and were willing to spend the time explaining my options. read more

Had these guys tint my car over a year ago and it still looks amazing. I plan on returning to them to finish up the front windows (had to hold off because my passenger side window was being replaced after a break in) They really care about their work and are passionate about making sure the job is done 100% the first time around (No bubbles! And they won't sell you some BS about bubbles going away after a few days like other places). I can't say that you'll find that at many other places. Thanks Cali Tint! See you soon. read more

Team did a great job on my car. They took longer than quoted, so keep in mind, you will need to leave your car a full day, maybe more. The reason? They take their time, they are meticulous, they care about the quality of their work. If you want it done right, go with Cali tint. read more

Getting car windows tinted, there are so many choices in the Bay Area but this place is hands down the best! Professional, friendly, worth every penny. The guys here are awesome! Got to watch the work being done and it was a pleasure to watch artists in action. They take great pride in their work. Absolutely recommend! I've got Nano carbon ceramic tint. I don't know how these guys do it. They will spend hours on your car to make it perfect and that is what they did for me. These guys are at the top of their profession. I am very happy with the work they did on my Honda Civic. I will for sure use them in the future. THANK YOU!!!! read more

Just had my BMW done at Cali Tint. Work was done as advertised and they did an excellent job at educating me on the process and materials. If you are looking for a sales presentation and a dude in a tie, then you should skip Cali Tint and then go get a reality check. They were honest, took their time, communicated time frames appropriately and did kick ass work. I would hire them again without question. read more

Just picked up my car from Cali Tint. As I expected, based on speaking with the guys at Cali Tint, the car came out perfect. They really go the distance to make sure the car comes out perfect. They did an AWESOME job on my car! Excellent customer service, friendly & professional. I purchased a new car and decided to tint it's windows. I found Cali Tint and checked the reviews on Yelp and decided to take my car to Gerald @ Cali Tint for the tinting to be done. Just like the other reviews on here, Gerald really did an exceptional job on my 2010 Dodge Challenger. Not only are the windows perfect now, he went out of his way to shuttle me back & forth for the job to be done when he had no one else in the shop to help. read more

I have to give Gerald and his partner at Cali Tint five stars, they are great. I'm extremely picky, indecisive, and ask a ton of questions. Gerald was very informative, took extra time to walk me through my options and why one type of film was better than another. They are perfectionists, they stand behind their work, and they want you to be pleased. I feel they genuinely take pride in their work and it shows. Brought in my 2014 Audi Q7, already had factor tint on back. Walked me through options even did a sample on back and front window to show me what it will look like. Noticed front tint has a blue tone. Gerald took it upon himself to contact the manufacturer. They ended up swapping out that film and gave him all new. Car looks awesome, very pleased. Additionally, I then brought my husband's 2013 BMW 740i in for tint 3 weeks later. I know it's a difficult car to tint. They took their time, and paid attention to detail. Don't rush your tint job. If they need your car from 8:30am-7:00pm, let them have it. They take their time and make sure it's done legit. Car looks amazing. Every time I came in, there were high-end luxury cars being worked on. Thanks guys, I'll be referring everyone I know to Cali Tint! read more

So.... I went to Low-Price auto Chumps down the street about a month ago to have my 1998 Mustang window's tinted, they did a blotch job. Absolutely horrible. After that company told me "well that's just the way it is, and we could cut the glass and (me) can spray paint the glass on top) RED FLAG! I found Cali Tint on Yelp this morning called Gerald before he even opened... Told me that some of these lower prices allure people with the low cost, but at the expense of cutting corners. Yeah, no kidding right?? Gerald told me to come swing by so he can take a look. Gerald educated me the issue of the "bubble" on the top of the rear glass can be resolved. Overall, Gerald and his partner are understanding, and very good at their craft. After Gerald properly educating me on the process, and why some places are cheap, lead me NEVER do business with anybody else, except for Gerald. He is a true craftsman, addressed my concern, found a solution and made this old car look GREAT. Here are several reasons why you should consider doing business with Cali Tint. 1.) Honest and Professional Owner 2.) Affordable pricing and give you practical options, not trying to upsell for addons that are not needed. 3.) Local Family man, I mean come on people, why wouldn't want to support a small shop in OUR community? 4.) Great Customer Service and Work etiquette. I'm a person who is also in the service industry, and let me tell you, finding companies like this are FAR and few between, so if your considering doing a vinyl wrap, or a great tint job, there is no questions. This is the company and owner you want to do business with. In addition, since today was storming, there was a large influx of inbound calls from customers, Gerald made an appoint to tell every client, "make sure you drive safe, take your time! I'll be here when you get here." Now that sounds like somebody who truly cares about his clients. I'm very impressed, and I look forward to continue doing business with Cali Tint. Thank you, Kyle A read more

I called in to ask how much it would be to tint my ski boat windows. I was surprised to find out how much it was, so i asked why it is so expensive compared to a car (maybe they use a different material?).. i was just curious and was going to bring my boat in anyways. The guy on the phone told me to "call every shop in the bay area and see if you get a better price" and then hung up on me. I was going to have my new Chevy truck tinted as well.... that's not going to happen either. Probably the worst i have been spoken to as a customer in a long time. read more

Dude has a lot of nerve! Quotes me one price to bring me in and puts the pressure on to sell me a more expensive product. 12 hours after my "appointment" and my car still isn't ready! I no longer care what the car looks like. This place closes at 5 pm.....why is it 10 pm and I'm still friggin waiting?!?! I was going to have 2 cars done at this place. I'm taking the other one to Livermore! read more

If I could give these guys a negative star rating I would... First off they are very rude and unprofessional. They didn't even bother to look at my car to quote me then threw out this outrageous ridiculous price....The owner is an asshole with a dick attitude. They look like they are about to go out of business. The shop was small and dirty. I would never trust these guys around my car let alone work in it. I Would never recommend them not even to my worse enemy. read more

I can tell you this place rocks for window tinting! Gerald (the owner/lead installer) is very patient and professional. He takes time to explain all of his products, shows pictures of his finished projects (in this case cars) and is very critical of his own work. When I didn't see any imperfections with his job he still spent an extra few minutes making sure it matched his standards. I'm not sure why this business doesn't have more reviews but the guy is busy, so it's a mystery. He was even nice enough to meet my work schedule opened early to meet me and then drove me to BART. Wow. read more

Called at 1pm and spoke with Gerald, who quoted me a cash price of $345.00, for five windows. He stated that he was going to lunch and run errands, but I could come in at 3pm. I asked if that was enough time to finish this job and he said that he would be done today. Arrive at 2:50pm and noted that the one stall shop had a BMW backed in and someone was underneath the rear of this vehicle. Gerald asked if I was the one who called previously and had me fill out the work order info. I completed this and left my key and proceeded to IHOP, for a late lunch. Got back about 3:45pm and noted my vehicle was still parked in the lot. When I walked up, I noticed the same BMW, with two workers underneath the rear. I announced that I would have to leave now and I was informed to come back the next morning; for the three hour(s) job. As I drove off, I thought why would anybody even think or recommend anyone else to come here!! read more
