Honestly, I was expecting an even better food and service experience due to the side of town it's on, so I was kind of excited to check it out. I walked in and immediately realized that when it's busy there all standards go out the door. There was scraps of food and crumbs everywhere, and a lot of cross contamination going on. But yeah, it was busy, understandable for lunch time hours, but all of the food standards shouldn't be last priority just because you have traffic. Once I got to the counter a young gentleman took my order, prepped the bread, cut the cheese, and slid my sandwich down to another young gentleman to finish it. The guy that took my order told the guy making it what my sandwich was, but for some reason the guy forgot (too busy paying attention to everyone else). So I reminded him (no problem). I knew as soon as he started putting the mayonnaise and mustard on it before the avocado that he was just checked out, or overwhelmed. But he went straight to the avocado after that and used the same knife to scoop and spread the avocado over the mayo/mustard. I always try to be helpful by telling them I want mayonnaise and mustard on it early so they can use the squeeze tubes instead of the spreader, because once you put the avocado, they can't spread the mayonnaise on top of it. Anyways, then he added the rest of the toppings (Mike's Way) and then he asked me if I wanted anything else on it, so I said "well it's a Cali Club" insinuating that he's missing a few toppings there. They were about to wrap my sandwich up and sell me a #7 charged as a Cali club lol. Once I got to the register the young lady asked me "what sandwich is it? a #7?" At this point I was just like "dafuq?". All of the staff were really friendly though. I think the franchisee should go do some checks and assist with the overall cleanliness expectation of the business. Thank you to management for reaching out to me via replying to my post. Parking is a little bit crazy during lunch time. Staff is always super nice here and the lines go pretty quick. I don't know if they have more than the 2 locations I know of. This location is not as fancy as the one on Brimhall, but their sandwiches are just as good.
