I took my Mini Countryman there a few weeks ago after buying new tires and replacing some parts with bad bushings and I left with a car that drives like a brand new vehicle. I tried another place that will remain unnamed multiple times and they could never get my alignment dialed in; there was always a pull or a shimmy and I chalked it up to my car being old (2013). I guess I resigned myself to that fact and wasn't shocked when I saw the nasty tire wear the last time I rotated my tires...it was down to the belts and I was basically skating down the road on those things. Well, that has changed. With new parts, tires, AND a place that knows how to dial in an alignment, my little car is driving straight as an arrow and cornering like it is on rails. The tech even tweaked the rear camber away from the stock Mini settings because they tend to eat tires as well. I can't say enough about the work they did and it was worth every penny. I have a 2004 Pontiac GTO that I did a coilover install on a few years back and never had it aligned after. I had new front tires installed as well at the time, and the shop that mounted and balanced them not only jacked my wheels all up with their tire mounting machine but they did an awful balance job as well. I then took it to another random shop that made it a little more drivable, but the car hasn't driven smoothly for quite sometime. It would vibrate like crazy at certain speeds and squeak and creak over bumps. Just flat out wasn't enjoyable. Andrew at Cali Custom did a fantastic job with my car. He asked me what exactly I wanted done with the alignment (whether it be for daily driving or track/drift/etc). I told him I don't daily the car anymore, so I wanted it as aggressive as it could be without being too obnoxious, for lack of a better word. I want the car to handle twists and turns really well, handle spirited driving while also getting rid of the steering wheel vibration at certain speeds and get rid of the wheel weight rubbing the tie rod in tight parking lot full wheel lock situations. So far so good. I haven't been able to drive it hard yet, but just the drive home was already worlds apart where it was when I brought it in. Definitely worth the $150 bucks considering shops like Les Schwab or Firestone charge basically that if not MORE and they won't even TOUCH a lowered vehicleLet alone do a custom alignment. I'll definitely be back to dial in the front even more when I get new tires and after I finish installing the rear coilovers. read more

I initially hired this auto shop to do body work on my mustang. They told me they would work on it and I kept getting the run-around and excuses why they weren't getting it done. They've had my mustang for 7 months. I also hired them to do my transmission fluid change for my Audi more recently. I dropped that car off on a Monday and they informed me that the car would be done on Friday. When I went to pick up my car Friday, I was surprised to find that it was not done. They said they changed the fluid and filter but now transmission was leaking. They did not bother to call and let me know. I had to find out after taking an Uber ride across town, expecting to bring my car home. Unapologetically, they told me to come back on Saturday and assured me that it would be ready. I arrived at the shop on Saturday at noon but no one was there. I called and texted them but no one answered. I waited two hours and they finally showed up. The owner Christopher Liland got out of his vehicle very angrily and slammed the car door, almost breaking the window. He seemed to be angry at his wife who was in the car with him. This is very unprofessional behavior for a business owner, he was frightening other customers and making a scene. He went inside and made me wait another hour all to tell me that my car wasn't ready. I left very disappointed but they told me to come back on following Tuesday. I arrived Tuesday on schedule and they said the car was ready and that there were no more leaks. I was happy to have my car back and fixed, so I paid for the service and drove off. After driving 30 miles my car started shaking and transmission went into limp mode, I barely made it back home. I called Christopher on his private cell phone to tell him about the issue. He took no responsibility for my car acting up almost immediately after driving it out of his shop, saying that he has nothing to do with the problem. I told him that I will have to take my car to the Audi dealership to have them figure out the issue and that I will send him a bill. He then told me in an upset tone to bring the car back and he will look at it. Upon taking a closer look at my car, I found that it was also leaking fluid out of transmission. I was busy with my work schedule and couldn't bring the car back that same week but I went on Friday, June 6th at 2:45pm to drop it off. We started talking about the Mustang and he got angry because I told him he wasted 7 months letting my car sit there without performing the work he promised and that it wasn't cool that he made me wait for 3 hours before just to send me back home. He said they didn't ask me to come and I explained to him that his wife did. He fought with her too the same as he was with me. He kicked the trash can (trash can ended up hitting his dog) and he got in my face almost hitting me, telling me to leave his shop before he kills me. He also threatened to burn my Mustang. I called police and now have a police report about the incident. He still has my car in his possession and I'm not even sure how I will get it back after the threats he made. I ended up having to contact BAR and try to get a mediation agreement to get it back. I don't feel safe going back to this shop and would advise anyone considering bringing their vehicle there for service to reconsider. They have a serious issue with communication, not being at the shop when they're supposed to be, and not answering their business phone or messages. I would call over and over and with no response, I resorted to taking an Uber ride across town a few times just to get an update on the status of my vehicle. In addition, they would tell me they needed parts to fix my car and I would get the parts they told me to get, bring them by the shop and then they would tell me that part didn't work or fit. This happened a couple of times. The owner told me that I owed him $20 for gas because he had to send somebody to go get a part for my car. What about all the Uber rides across town that I had to pay for because they don't answer their phone for their customers? Overall I am very disappointed and I would like him to refund my money so that I can take my cars elsewhere to get them professionally fixed. They are not professionals. I was really debating on writing this post but this is ridiculous. I went in on July 31st for an oil leak on my 2013 VW. They checked out the car and said it was the valve cover. I dropped it off and the claimed to have fixed the problem. When I picked up the car I noticed it was still leaking. I told them and they looked at the car again. They claimed it was just residual and if it still leaking come back in a week. I came back and once again they told me that it was residual and they found a massive puddle of oil. Once again I was told if the leak is still there to come back. This time to give it a week or two. I have it 3 weeks at this point being the beginning of September. I came in very frustrated they looked at the car once again and said that there was another oil leak. This time they were unable to figure out the part that it was coming from. They explained that they needed to order the manual for my car and they would call me the next day for the cost and labor, once they figure it out. I waited for a week and then texted them if they had found the part... no answer. I called them after the next week and the lady at the front said she would get the mechanic to look that day and I would get a call soon. It is now a month later since I called and never received an answer. I went to a new mechanic shop come to find out it was never the valve cover. I only went to this mechanic shop because my cousin said he had a partnership with the company. Clearly they are not educated on oil changes or foreign cars. Just keep it simple and go with an Alignment anything else beware of being scammed. The only plus side was that they were nice. read more

These guys are awesome. I came in for an Alignment and Brake Bleed job as a WALK IN and they squeezed me in despite having multiple appointments that morning! They definitely know their stuff and actually recommends you some advice. Said I should run a little bit of camber for some daily driving and a bit of spirited driving on the backroads. The nice lady inside is amazing she def knows her stuff too! Asked me questions, somewhat like a test to see what best fits my needs for my car. After asking multiple questions she was still respectful and open minded. Asked an important question like "what if my alignment isn't properly aligned" she responded with a guarantee alignment and I could back within a few days or so to get that sorted out! Sad to say they are changing locations to somewhere a bit further from me but also glad they're expanding! read more

I appreciate that they were really nice and were communicating with me about the process, wait times, and what to expect. Second, the guy that did my alignment who I think is the owner, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He asked me about my car, my concerns, and if there was anything that I wanted him to look at or address when he does my alignment. Usually if you go to any alignment shop, they just do it real quick and send you on your way and you leave not knowing what they even did, but not here. Overall I'm super happy with this shop and will definitely recommend them to everyone. Brought my BMW that I use for track days to get aligned after installing new coilovers. I do a ton of my own work and all I can say is that I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. Prior to doing the alignment the owner asked me a ton of questions about my driving style, how the car currently handled and what I was looking for. When I mentioned I like to do some of my own work he invited me to come back and watch what he was doing and ask ton of additional questions. This was definitely not just a cookie cutter alignment and I highly recommend anyone needing work done to give them a try. Afterward they stressed numerous times that if something was off to let them know so they could make it right. Fortunately on my spirited drive home I could already tell the difference and cant wait to get the car on the track. BTW they are moving to a new location and plan to have an oval track out front to test our the alignment once complete. Needed an alignment bad for my rsx since it had hard pull to the right due to -3 camber on my drivers side. First I went to les swab and they couldn't do the job. Wasted my money. I then saw cali custom as they work on many modded cars. Went to cali custom and they got my alignment better than ever! Car drives straight and they matched my camber so I'm at -1 ish on both sides!
