Place is quite crowded, in a gas station, but so worth it to try! There's a reason why people go there. There was plenty of seating too. I liked those tortillas, they reminded me of tortillas caseros that I've had before in Cali and Mexico. The tacos were a reasonable price and size was very appropriate for the cost. They have a salsa bar with pickled onions, pickled peppers, lemons and a variety of salsas. Meat was just a little dry, but still not completely over. I had two al pastor and 1 asada taco. I definitely will be back for tacos and to try the burritos! The tamales, I wasn't a fan of. I usually don't like vegetables (bell peppers ) in my tamales. I like that they have a little condiment station with things to choose from depending on preference. We just moved here from out of state and I miss all the Mexican food options we had near us. This Burrito was delightful. My meat choice was chicken. With lots of unique flavors, from the chipotle sauce to rice, it was better than I expected. There were lots of unique sauces to choose from. Excellent! Best in Bismarck. Lots of fresh ingredients in the burritos that are made as you order.

The food is decent, but not on the level of Mexican food from California. The portions are significantly smaller here (and cost more), and this is surprising as business overhead in CA is much higher. The menu is also rather bare bones. The two big issues I have with this place are #1, the prices. You can expect to pay about 30% more here than a comparable (fast/to go) Mexican restaurant. And this may be an isolated incident but the staff I dealt with was rather rude. I really wanted to love this place and I think they have potential, will try again in the future and come back to this review. read more

poor customer service and rude management. received a poor quality delivery order and they were unwilling to help resolve or remake it in any way. After being talked to poorly i don't even want to order from this place again. no apologies, or owning up to the cardboard they tried to serve and old grey guacamole. Here visiting from San Francisco, and I have to say this spot has some of the most authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Yes, in North Dakota. I've had the carne asada burrito a few times and recently tried their California fries...omg it was sooo good. Was given the wrong order accidentally, very loud inside of the restaurant and I could barely hear the worker yell my name, rice looked very weird and all stuck together, the refried beans were runny and were like a soup, and the food wasn't too good. But the food was enjoyable I had some food left that I brought home with me and will eat as leftovers tomorrow. Probably will not go again, but the food wasn't bad. read more

Respectable burrito. So far the closest we found to a "real burrito" in Bismarck. The little salsa bar was adequate, the pickled onions were perfect! We are SoCal natives and we're told this place had a decent burrito. We understand the majority of locals do not like heat, spice and love carbs. So I wasn't surprised to see rice in every burrito. They did let me customize some, so I took out the rice and added more meat. I had a Cali-King. Next time I will ask them to do carne asada only (it comes with a mix of carne or polo Asada and shrimp. I think the shrimp tones down any spice/heat. The menu is pretty simple and a tad pricey. But even McDonalds is pricey in North Dakota. It is hard not to pay less than $25, no matter where we go for fast food. It was reminiscent of a busy, noisy taco shop, just missing the Spanish music in the background. It was clean, basic, and service was decent. Will go again and tweak our order a little more. read more
