I prepared myself to wait, but I was called after maybe 5 minutes. From the moment I opened the door until I left, I was greeted with a smile. All the employees I came in contact with were extremely kind and accommodating. I must especially mention Jiselle - Assistant Clinic Manager and thank her for her help with a home pick up. Since I was done so quickly, I should have waited more than an hour and a half, but Jiselle called Access Calgary and arranged an earlier pickup. They said everything is good. Follow up ultrasound Oct 9, 2025 at EFW Radiology and I was told there is no heartbeat. EFW & my family doctor both confirmed that the ultrasound done at Canada Diagnostic Savanna misreported 137bpm when there was NO HEARTBEAT AT THAT TIME! NO CARDIO ACTIVITY. From the first second I stepped into the clinic I found all staff very polite, helpful and friendly and it was giving me the feeling that they all want to do their best to help. Then I met Dr. Tim Boyne. I have never seen any person like that. He just radiates peace. Also he patiently tried to explain everything in a simple way for me to understand the situation. I had a very good experience and I'm very happy that I had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting Dr. Boyne. I definitely recommend this place for Cardiology.

When i arrived to the destination ( 43 mins from my home ) I was told I needed to return the device the next day at 6-9 am. I said i had to drop my 4 kids at school at 840 so i would be 20 mins late . The technician said no, so i had to get someone else to drop it off for me the next day ( rules are rules so i didnt push). The same technician was rude and codescending ( this is NOT her first negative review .. red hair 30-40s ). She would not make eye contact. She pointed at what she wanted me to do instead of asking. Finally I called her out on being rude when she demanded i take off my shirt instead of asking me nicely or offering me a blanket to feel less exposed OR even saying " i am going to apply leads so you need to take you shirt off for a minute". I asked for a new technician as she was making me so uncomfortable ( as if i wanted to spend my morning getting a heart monitor with a cup of joy at the bed side ). The next technician, Pat, was lovely. Showed me how to use device. She was patient with my questions and the whole event only took 3 mins. I personally have not dealt with the cardiologists in building but my husband has and they are lovely. Too bad they hired someone that brings down their image .

The lab staff are very approachable and helpful if I need any additional explanations. I never have to wait very long except for now with the covid situation creating the need for more bloodwork analysis. This is totally understandable. The people who draw my blood on the whole are very nice and personable and give me confidence in their abilities. Therefore, I am more relaxed when the needle is inserted. Hardly feel anything. Mask, sanitizer and social distancing is employed throughout the building and lab. Overall, I think they do a very good job.

The girl working there was really nice and especially apologetic but she couldn't find my vein. She kept on talking to it like it was a separate entity from me, finally after two tries she asked one of the directors to take over. I was sitting there with cotton balls and tapes on both arms, but it didn't really hurt so I didn't mind. I had giggled a couple of times as she talked to my arm over and over again. Aside from my hiding veins I would totally recommend the third floor laboratory for their services, the hospital itself is so aesthetically pleasing and staff here is amazing.

Needless to say she was very rude and demeaning, however the woman who toke my blood was very pleasant and friendly and did a great job at taking my blood and making me feel comfortable.

Really really acceptable plus the whole thing of not accepting what I was saying. There must be some management that can enforce some sort of change in the level of manners there.

Instead, go directly to the Canada Diagnostic Centre at Pacific Place and explain your urgent situation in person. They were incredibly helpful and managed to find me a cancellation spot twice on the same day. I really appreciate their support during a very urgent time for me. Thank you!
