There were a few others in the waiting room ahead of me but I was told that the wait would be about 45 minutes which isn't too bad for a walk-in. Sure enough, I was in and out pretty much 45 minutes later! Everyone I encountered was friendly and polite. The doctor seemed like he was in a bit of a rush (I didn't get his name and he wasn't wearing a name tag) but he was thorough and quick in examining me. He provided some treatment and we discussed it a bit and then I was on my way again. Overall, pleasant experience (other than me being sick in the first place).

With a young child and myself working in childcare I think it would be safe to say that me and my…read morefamily have visited our share of medical facilities in the city in a short time frame. Just want to say this clinic is the worst walk in clinic I have ever experienced in the province or any other. Wait times are ludicrous(the emergency room wait is shorter on average.) Every single time any of us goes there we leave wondering why the hell we bothered?? The reception staff are all some if the rudest women I have ever encountered and really should not be working with patients in any way. Very insensitive and just mean spirited people. All the doctors are the laziest people I have ever met, but Dr. Collette takes the cake. Barely utters a word when he walks in. Doesn't bother to listen to anything you say and makes you feel like an idiot who has nothing wrong with you (whem any other MD says otherwise) or diagnoses the wrong thing because he rushes to throw drugs at you so he can go and sit in the back for 5 hours until he wanders into the next room to screw up his next patient. So unless every other medical centre in Canada is closed, save yourself 4 useless hours of your life and go anywhere else!

I've been a patient there for a while now. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists are amazing. My family Dr…read more is very humane. She listens to you, she's very through. I am very happy with her. But the clinic has 2 problems. Says it's a Walk In but they do everything in their power not to let you walk in. I don't mind waiting, I inderstand they're busy and I need to wait when I walk in. But sometimes unforeseen health issues can happen over night or the day before and you need a walk in. The second problem is one of the receptionists. Bad attitude, you always feel like you're a nuisance she can't wait to get rid of. Very cold and detached, borderline rude. Once she made me state outloud I had a UTI infront of a patient.. She kept asking me to say it louder .Has zero sensibility. She has nothing to do in the healthcare business. If it wasn't for the receptionist and the lack of walk in access, this clinic would be a 5 star.

I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersson and the level of care he provides. He is the…read moremost thorough doctor I have ever encountered, always taking the time to address our concerns, ask the right questions, and ensure we leave his office confident in our health. He is not just a family doctor--he is a diagnostician masquerading as one. My family has been seeing Dr. Andersson since I was pregnant with my first son, and over the years, his care has been second to none. We have experience with doctors in Europe, and among our family friends in Calgary, one owns a family practice and another works in the hospital emergency department--yet we trust Dr. Andersson with our health above all others. His ability to truly see his patients, listen carefully, and perform thorough checkups is unmatched. His bedside manner is exceptional; he has a gift for making my teenage sons feel comfortable and reassured, and he always takes our concerns seriously. But while all of this has become what we expect from him, it's not why I'm leaving this review. I genuinely believe Dr. Andersson has saved my father's life. After my father suffered a stroke, he spent several days at Foothills Hospital, underwent surgery (stent), and was discharged with no further follow-up. Given that Foothills is known as one of the best hospitals for heart and stroke care, we assumed everything had been addressed. But when I took my father to Dr. Andersson for a follow-up, he immediately picked up on something no one else had. With his usual thoroughness and kindness, he took my father's blood pressure, listened carefully, and without hesitation referred him to Total Cardiology. That's when we learned my father has a bicuspid aortic valve that needs to be addressed--something the hospital had completely ignored or overlooked. And if that weren't enough, Dr. Andersson personally called us after hours to make sure we understood what was happening. He told us, "Listen, they found some things, so they are skipping the middle man--meaning me--and referring him straight to a cardiologist. Make sure you answer the phone when they call, and don't worry, this is all for the best." The fact that he caught what Foothills missed and took immediate action is something I will never forget. Dr. Andersson isn't just a doctor--he is a rare find, a one-in-a-million physician who genuinely cares, is astonishingly competent, and goes above and beyond for his patients. I truly feel sorry for anyone in Calgary who doesn't have him as their family doctor because, as far as I'm concerned, he's irreplaceable. And as for my family? We owe him more than words can express. We are certain he just extended my father's life, and to us, that is priceless.

I had followed a previous doctor to 4 different clinics around the city before she left for Toronto. My son and I did a meet and greet with Dr. Rana Al-bayati and found her to be very efficient. I have seen her now 5 or 6 times in the last year and half and even just the simplest of visits i.e. prescription refills, she takes the time to ask thorough questions. I had put off a few things like some blood work before my appointment and she won't just let you slide if she needs the results. I can procrastinate like the best of them but If I wanted to move on to what I wanted, I had to do what she needed. Very impressive! Maybe not at the moment (haha) My 95 years old mother was not feeling well one day and of course I panicked and did not want to take her to any walk-in centre, so I phoned the clinic and asked if we could just walk in. They said yes and I rushed down and because she was not a patient she was seen by the next available doctor when they were available. Dr. Alaa Ali checked over my mom and found she was stable, and we went for blood work. The results came in and we were notified to come in and now my mom has a treatment routine. If anyone wants to know she is doing very well for a woman of her age. We just came back from Los Cabos yeah. The receptionists require a shout out as they are excellent to deal with. This is clinic is small and I wanted to keep this info to myself but how can I when they are just super terrific.

People waiting in emergency being very very rude to the medical staff and expect to be treated with kindness! Think again!!! How would you react if you were on the receiving end of that abuse? Non emergencies could have gone to their family Doctor or a urgent care faculty. Being rude is not going to get special treatment of any kind. Yes, it's hard on everyone's mental patients of waiting. I'm not a person that goes to the hospital with a sniffle or a cough or even a fever. To some people they feel this is their only option, and with this it puts a stain on the emergency system. The nurses took very good care of my mom from the time she arrived to the time she was admitted for a stay. With extensive testing they did find many issues and is now being treated. (Even my dad has been to this hospital 8 years ago for a medical emergency. Even back then we had great medical attention) Kindness, Friendliness with a smile is what you'll get in return. With that said: it makes the medical staff feel better while doing this stressful job they love. -Easy access from Deerfoot Trail or Stoney Trail in the deep south -Emergency parking is pay parking -Limited free 2 hour street parking on the south side. (Good luck in finding a spot) -Plenty of underground pay parking for longer hospital visits or short. For a hospital that is 10 years old still has plenty of room for expansion and is in a great location to service Calgary south and towns. I would like to say I would be returning because of the great prognosis and treatment. But medically I hope not.
