I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersson and the level of care he provides. He is the…read moremost thorough doctor I have ever encountered, always taking the time to address our concerns, ask the right questions, and ensure we leave his office confident in our health. He is not just a family doctor--he is a diagnostician masquerading as one. My family has been seeing Dr. Andersson since I was pregnant with my first son, and over the years, his care has been second to none. We have experience with doctors in Europe, and among our family friends in Calgary, one owns a family practice and another works in the hospital emergency department--yet we trust Dr. Andersson with our health above all others. His ability to truly see his patients, listen carefully, and perform thorough checkups is unmatched. His bedside manner is exceptional; he has a gift for making my teenage sons feel comfortable and reassured, and he always takes our concerns seriously. But while all of this has become what we expect from him, it's not why I'm leaving this review. I genuinely believe Dr. Andersson has saved my father's life. After my father suffered a stroke, he spent several days at Foothills Hospital, underwent surgery (stent), and was discharged with no further follow-up. Given that Foothills is known as one of the best hospitals for heart and stroke care, we assumed everything had been addressed. But when I took my father to Dr. Andersson for a follow-up, he immediately picked up on something no one else had. With his usual thoroughness and kindness, he took my father's blood pressure, listened carefully, and without hesitation referred him to Total Cardiology. That's when we learned my father has a bicuspid aortic valve that needs to be addressed--something the hospital had completely ignored or overlooked. And if that weren't enough, Dr. Andersson personally called us after hours to make sure we understood what was happening. He told us, "Listen, they found some things, so they are skipping the middle man--meaning me--and referring him straight to a cardiologist. Make sure you answer the phone when they call, and don't worry, this is all for the best." The fact that he caught what Foothills missed and took immediate action is something I will never forget. Dr. Andersson isn't just a doctor--he is a rare find, a one-in-a-million physician who genuinely cares, is astonishingly competent, and goes above and beyond for his patients. I truly feel sorry for anyone in Calgary who doesn't have him as their family doctor because, as far as I'm concerned, he's irreplaceable. And as for my family? We owe him more than words can express. We are certain he just extended my father's life, and to us, that is priceless.

I have been struggling with anxiety my whole life and as a teenager, had a severe eating disorder. After exhausting all other treatments, therapy, mediation, exercise, I was ready to try anti-depressants. Naidu hardly even looked me in the eye, showed zero empathy to my situation and had the nerve to tell me my situation was potentially hormonal. Thank you for being the most stereotypical male doctor I've ever come into contact with... I'm surprised he didn't ask if I was on my period while he was at it. I told him I'm a highly educated, competent woman, and am advocating for myself. That I deserve to be treated and hear my options. He proceeds to tell me that if I'm having suicidal tendencies, to go to a hospital (the psych ward) for treatment. I said that is not where I'm at, but simply want the care I need and to ensure I am working the system to the best of my abilities while maintaining his code of ethics of course. He prints off a blood sheet test and sends me on my way to get hormone testing.. This man lacks any emotional intelligence skills and clearly only cares about getting his patients out of his room as quickly as possible. The worst care, the worst empathy, the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

Any referrals for anything serious? Find another doctor because your referrals will not be directed to where you want to go. If you have kids and you're worried about their mental health also do not take them to this doctor because he does not give a shit at all. Bring up self-harm to him? He says oh all the kids do that. As a past youth care worker? SELF HARM?No they don't. Self-harm is a coping mechanism It's not normal, and not all kids do it. Secondly you need your prescriptions that keep you sane? Don't come here, he'll take his sweet ass time faxing them because he'll be in some other country or vacationing in Cuba or Mexico who knows but his first priority is not his worK ethics. 3rd, he will mess around with meds that can seriously put your life in danger .The way he messes with them and it's not a good thing. This is not the one to go to. If you want a good dermatologist Papillon dermatology is the best EVER!! THE people there LIKE receptionists? there are awesome. He's got this brunette that works there I never caught her name but don't care too she's probably bullied and junior high elementary school so she treats everyone like shit and she treats the medical assistant at the counter Irina like garbage! talks to her like she's a dog and she is the most loving caring person in the little business. But please don't see this doctor! out of spite he will screw with meds that if you don't take them like you're supposed to? Seizures, withdrawals (very dangerous ones) and a lot more. Just look up abrupt lower dose of benzos but luckily the pharmacist didn't listen to him and gave me my full dose that I needed till I see my new doctor next week. So please be a dear and do not see this person very immature very unprofessional belittled my children right in front of their faces. I would suggest for a doctor and for dermatology ,do not go see this man but definitely go to Papillon dermatology. Have a nice day Aymen

The technician said no, so i had to get someone else to drop it off for me the next day ( rules are rules so i didnt push). The same technician was rude and codescending ( this is NOT her first negative review .. red hair 30-40s ). She would not make eye contact. She pointed at what she wanted me to do instead of asking. Finally I called her out on being rude when she demanded i take off my shirt instead of asking me nicely or offering me a blanket to feel less exposed OR even saying " i am going to apply leads so you need to take you shirt off for a minute". I asked for a new technician as she was making me so uncomfortable ( as if i wanted to spend my morning getting a heart monitor with a cup of joy at the bed side ).
