EFW & my family doctor both confirmed that the ultrasound done at Canada Diagnostic Savanna misreported 137bpm when there was NO HEARTBEAT AT THAT TIME! NO CARDIO ACTIVITY. Approximately 1-hour after the completion of the x-ray, I received a call from the lethargic and unprofessional Evanston Medical Clinic receptionist with the results. She informed me that the doctor asked her to tell me that '(I) had 3 broken bones in my foot and that I should rush to the closest emergency (so that I could wait for hours on end) to be fitted with a walking cast.' Being employed in an industry that does not accommodate such a cumbersome device, I asked to speak to the doctor. The receptionist stated that 'she was busy.' When I asked if I could request a call-back from said doctor, the receptionist responded 'nope' and proceeded to hang up the phone. In order to investigate the diagnosis/recommended treatment w the residing Evanston Medical Clinic doctor (Dr Ayesha Imran) in greater detail, I was inconvenienced in having to once again return to the clinic and endlessly twiddle my thumbs in the waiting room. Upon finally sitting with the doctor, it was discovered that I was suffering from 'a nondisplaced oblique intra-articular fracture of the lateral corner of the distal and of the second middle phalanx'...in layman's terms, a fractured toe. Being a far cry from '3 broken bones in my foot,' my fractured toe required a $6 roll of medical tape from Shoppers (to 'buddy tape' my injured second toe to my healthy third), as opposed to the cumbersome (and expensive) walking cast recommended by Dr Imran. Not certain as to whether the unprofessionalism of the receptionist or the ineptness of the residing doctor should be of greater concern, I can most definitely tell you that I will not be returning to the Evanston Medical Clinic. An absolute ridiculous experience and an embarrassment to the medical profession.

The only draw back is that she isn't in clinic 5 days a week. But I have found everyone there very kind and supportive and efficient. (And I'm fussy .. I replied "sorry, I will not provide that personal information to someone calling me. It goes against everything security companies advise us NOT to do...we should NEVER provide our full name, address and DOB to an incoming caller. Let's find a better way to do this." The Mayfair caller had no idea what to do, other than she wouldn't schedule me, and I couldn't call HER back. I finally convinced her that we could select a convenient time, she could call my doctor's office to relay the appointment info. MAYFAIR MUST update their processes to come up with a state of the art booking system. This is 2025, not 1975.

Booking online is convenient but the website does not allow client to choose the center they want to! Twice it arranges a very far from my place and I have to cancel the booking. I prepared myself to wait, but I was called after maybe 5 minutes. From the moment I opened the door until I left, I was greeted with a smile. All the employees I came in contact with were extremely kind and accommodating. I must especially mention Jiselle - Assistant Clinic Manager and thank her for her help with a home pick up. Since I was done so quickly, I should have waited more than an hour and a half, but Jiselle called Access Calgary and arranged an earlier pickup. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone, especially Jiselle.

There is an elevator, although it takes forever which is weird given the lack of height of the building. There are very large, clear signs guiding you in the only direction down the hall you can really go. I had an early afternoon appointment. I walked in and there was no one waiting. The lady at the desk took my info quickly. She was pleasant although not overly friendly. I sat down and waited no more than 10 minutes (and I had been early). The ultrasound technician was very friendly and professional. She did her thing, always explaining what she was doing and where she'd be touching so there would be no surprises. It really put me at ease. The whole appointment took less than half an hour (including a short wait for results to take back to the hospital). If I need services like these again, this location is a top choice compared to some others. There is also a lot of parking which is handy!
