From start to finish, Emma was great with communication in planning. She texted over project options with paintings or clay art. My daughter chose clay and Emma sent over photos of sample projects she could choose from. My daughter asked to do a "Bluey" clay art project and I thought to ask even though I didn't see any samples in the studio. Emma asked for an image and within a few days they created one for the guests to replicate. That was appreciated as my daughter and her guests love Bluey and were so tickled to be able to make one. We did have a hiccup on the day of the party but Emma, her studio manager and staff were able to accommodate everything without batting an eyelash! I appreciated their flexibility and ability to pivot flawlessly. The staff were so helpful with setup and always making sure everyone had what they needed. They took care of cleaning up the space, and disposing of any party remnants for us at the end of the event. Our instructor was so friendly and talented. She went around to help any of the guests who needed assistance on their project. Emma was so friendly and thoughtful. She made sure there were personal touches and made sure each guest felt special. She checked on us frequently during the event as well. My daughter loved it and so did her friends. I wouldn't hesitate to hold another birthday party here again. During the party, guests kept asking me where I found her as they were amazed at the beauty and detail of her face painting art. Some guests were also interested in hiring her for their future events. Her balloon twisting skills were also amazing. She created a pair of angel wings that some of the girls wore thruout the party. My kids have been attending his studio when he was in Pleasanton and San Ramon for about two years…read moreand we had nothing but praises for Mr. Li, but not anymore. He recently changed his tuition structure for 15 classes for $300 which we paid but he never mentioned that we had to use it in 5 months. This past weekend, when we try to use the last two sessions, Mr. Li said we can't because it expired! We told Mr. Li that he never told us that when we paid the fee and he said his policy is posted on the window (which we never noticed until he mentioned it). Mr. Li said he also post this information on his website but we told him it doesn't matter because he should have said something to us when we paid him or should have given us a receipt with this information or something in writing to that effect. He stood his ground and told my wife that if our kids want to attend we need to pay. Mr. Li, you've been teaching our two kids for over two years but what you did is wrong. Regardless of what your sign said, you never told us we had to use it within five months and you as good business practice and teacher for my kids for over two years, you should've just let them attend the class and we would've keep coming. We were not asking for anything free, all we were asking is to let us use what we paid for. Now, you've lost two students and we're going to spread the word to everyone we know about our experience. Was what you did worth it?

I grew up at this art studio! I recently left for college, but I attended Li's Art Studio from…read moreelementary school to high school. Mr. Li is a great teacher and encouraged us to grow as artists. We have learned to use a variety of mediums, from pencil sketching, oil painting, watercolor, to traditional chinese guóhuà. We also learned to draw a lot of different subjects like portraits, landscapes, still life - pretty much anything I was interested in, Mr. Li could teach it. Every year we'd have a field trip to a local park - including Coyote Hills and Quarry Lakes to paint real life landscapes with watercolors that we'd drag along. It was always fun, and I still have those paintings hanging up in my childhood room. By the time I left, I had a portfolio that I was really happy with, and throughout my time there he encouraged and helped us to enter into local art contests. He really supported my creativity, and although I decided that drawing isn't really for me as a career, I still find it super-duper useful at school and work in engineering because I communicate my ideas through quick sketches. I cannot recommend Mr. Li's art studio enough!

What sets them apart is the personalized attention. Even in group sessions, the coaches take time to correct form, offer specific tips, and keep kids engaged and having fun. My kid went from barely holding a racket to consistently rallying, and more importantly, actually *loves* showing up each week. The communication from the team has been great too -- easy enrollment, responsive to questions, and accommodating when schedules get complicated. For a Bay Area tennis program, the value is really solid. If you're looking for a structured, encouraging environment to get your child into tennis (or sharpen your own game), Euro Tennis in Fremont is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Back for an update so far my daughter is still enjoying her lessons and we plan on continuing to…read morestay with euro tennis, I would say the only thing that is discouraging is that once you pay for a set schedule of a lessons there are no make up sessions or rescheduling for a different day. If you want to opt for a change in schedule it's an additional $40.00 which means for a one week lesson you'd pay about $90 for one week and remaining $52 for the rest of the week. Usually with most group lessons for example swim, ice skating, dance or music, you get the opportunity to attend a "make up" class within 30 days. I would know because my child has wanted to try everything from swimming to voice lessons.
