Great spot for a hike in Carlsbad. There are a lot of different trail options here. It's well maintained and has good views of Carlsbad. The hike I did here was moderate level (3 miles and 600 ft elevation gain). read more

It's busy but I still am able to manage to find parking so people often come and go here. I often come here to support my family in softball as they have a great softball program for young girls (go Carlsbaddies!) the programs are very interactive and family oriented. The bathrooms are clean and the park is green and beautiful. Definitely a great place to get children involved or to have nice get togethers/BBQs. read more

Good park but they don't allow dogs! Booohoo. It's a park, not sure why they don't allow dogs. I heard they'll give you a warning if a ranger sees you. The park is a good size with baseball and soccer field. They also have outside hoops and indoors at a cost. There's a playground and a big picnic area. Lots of shade. Just wish they allow dogs. read more

This park has so many options you can go hiking. There's a little smaller trails that are easier for the younger ones. They have a park on one side that is accessible off of lake and then they have the trails and also known as volcano through the neighborhood which I love to go on taking my kids since they were little. read more

We had our daughters first birthday here in the pack picnic area one and it was literally the perfect place. The back area is nice and shaded and even on a hot day it all worked out great. We also had a jumper and a few blankets and even a Teepee set up. If you want to have a big party but don't want to host it at your house this is a great alternative. Even though the park is nice we opted to get a jumper so the kids in our ward he could have more of a exclusive area to play. They had two grills we didn't use them because we brought our own and they were pretty dirty. We love coming to this park that's why I chose to do her birthday year overall great service and a huge clean nice area we had it for 6 hours and only paid around $160. read more

My cousins picked out a great spot for our family reunion. It was large, had plenty of parking, had bathrooms with toilet paper and seat covers available, baseball fields, playground, lots of grass, BBQs, garbages, covered picnic tables and surrounded by a good neighborhood. We didn't have sketchy strangers come around. It was housewives pushing strollers in their work out gear. Great spot! No dogs allowed. Too bad for my puppy dog. read more

Nice open clean neighborhood park. Always lots of friendly kids and happy parents watching their little kids throw sand in each others hair. They have a rec center with a full basketball court, tennis courts plenty of picnic spots and tables and Carlsbad throws concerts here every summer. Pretty lucky that its walking distance to my house. read more

Great park within walking distance from the house. Just signed up my son for summer science camp and he had a blast! Cant wait to get him involved with the little league they have here. You have to check out the activity center they have fun classes too like karate. Great tennis courts, basketball courts and baseball fields. The only thing that kinda sucks is the no pet policy I understand because some people are irresponsible with droppings and violence with dogs but it is a park. Warning! Do not leave your cell phone on the bleachers even if it is on sight! We had a cell phone stolen from us when it was wrapped inside a sweatshirt and my son was playing a basketball game. A group of teenage girls and a guy that was with them were the only other ones in the gym and they denied seeing it along with giving us some snarky comments. A shame because the phone is of no use to them (blacklisted) but meant soo much to my son. read more

I usually come here for our HOA meetings, we use one of the rooms in the center. It is a busy place with basketball and baseball practices going on. I think they even have tennis courts available as well. I usually can find parking unless it is TJIF night then forget about parking. They have a great playground for the children. This is a great well kept community park here in Carlsbad. There is ample play and picnic space as well as a large "community center" type building. I really liked how the picnic areas can be reserved, and are separate from both the baseball fields and the tennis courts. Meanwhile the kids play area is smack dab in the center of everything. Nice muti-use public park next to a gym. Baseball field, basketball court, pull-up bars. We played our kickball league season here with great success. Has its own parking lot, which is a big plus. Bathrooms are inside the gym. It's a real treat for Carlsbad to have this for their community. read more

This is a great little park in a nice part of Carlsbad near Carlsbad Village Drive and College. It always has plenty of parking and is always very pleasant. Great for children. read more

The softball fields are in very good conditions. They drain water very well and there are rare rain outs when other fields in neighboring cities close their fields. The play park is in very good condition. There is one light canopy with BBQ and a larger shaded area with a good amount of tables to have a large party at. The gym is open often for free play and has designated times for pickle ball, volleyball, adult and youth basketball. Has a medium size room that houses martial arts classes. And two smaller rooms that are used as meeting rooms and day camps for children. read more
