This is the disclaimer that Calavan Jeep snuck onto my service receipt. Shenanigans!
    Alison S.

If dgaf had a twin it's this place. Before they became Calavan Jeep, customer service meant more to the team here than now. And I haven't just had 1 bad experience that left me with this impression. It's been a slow decline of decent level service over the past 36 months. I took my Jeep in for an oil change on a Saturday morning 6 weeks ago and while changing my oil the mechanic cracked a component that houses my oil which resulted in me having an oil leak. No one from the service department informed me of any issues occurring and I discovered my oil leaking on my own from the huge spot in my driveway. What they did do though was place a disclaimer on the back page of my receipt (shown below) stating that the dealership isn't responsible for any cracks, etc. or anything aside from the requested service. This statement has never appeared on any of my other service receipts and I've been loyal to this dealership for 5 years plus. I'm a realist and I understand that mistakes are inevitable but my patience is nil when deception comes into play. I keep my maintenance up on my truck so that I remain independent because I'm a disabled woman. I made several attempts at trying to get a service advisor on the phone to discuss this matter and got nowhere until I filed a grievance with corporate. The service manager, Mr. Whitehead, upon greeting me opened the dialogue by asking me, "What happened to me, and what do they call it, Muscular Dystrophy?" He was referring to the way that I walk while using crutches, which honestly has no bearing whatsoever with the matter at hand. His question caught me off guard and I simply told him I'm grateful to be alive after being in a bad wreck years ago. He went on to let me know that the disclaimer printed on my service receipt, is also on all service write up receipts that they do, and that this wasn't an isolated case and concluded by telling me he had several other vehicles in his shop that now have a crack resulting in an oil leak as mine does. This type of thing happens all the time and Jeep won't fix it at no charge to me, and that this is a common issue that comes with older vehicles. The next day he called me with a quote of an amount in excess of $1600 and that was after he'd taken $200 off the original estimate. This is a stressful situation for me now and I still have an oil leak that must be resolved soon. But why would I entrust Calavan Jeep to do the repair, when they weren't honest with me prior and allowed me to leave after paying for an oil change, and my truck is leaking oil? All trust is lost.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE! I took my 2021 (2.5yr old) Jeep Wrangler Sport into the service department because I had been experiencing the engine fan revving, which led to the overheating light coming on twice. They came back after a very short period of time and said I need to replace my entire engine and it would cost me $16,000. That's right sixteen thousand dollars. They said my radiator and condenser was clogged with mud which caused my engine long blocks to overheat and warp. They said because I had been Off-roading the warranty was voided and I would have to pay out of pocket. Mind you I hadn't touched an Offroad trail in over a year and this problem just started. On top of that I am super meticulous about keeping my baby clean. They didn't look at the thermostat or water pump. They didn't suggest replacing the radiator first. They went straight to engine replacement. I then asked for photos of the clog. They basically lifted the hood and snapped 2 pictures of my engine bay, which I will admit has dirty water residue from Off-roading on it. NOT thick mud. They never took off my grill to look at the radiator. They didn't take anything apart to look into the engine to see the long blocks. I pushed back and said I'm not replacing the engine and asked why we wouldn't just replace the radiator first. The tech said let me ask the mechanic and call you back. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Side note, I did notice before I took it in that the 2nd coolant reservoir was empty but I didn't touch it because I wasn't sure what to do with it. I didn't tell them that. When I picked up my Jeep later that day, I noticed they filled that reservoir. I haven't had an issue with the fan or overheating since and it's been 2 weeks. No one from the service dept was there to talk with me when I went to pick it up. These people tried to charge me $16k to fix a coolant issue. Luckily I was smarter than that. But I still had to pay $200 for the dam diagnostic which was a rip-off. They still have yet to contact me and ask about my experience or my vehicle. Tony Hooper at Calavan was cute but only helped to give unsatisfactory service and try and scam me. I will never go there again and will tell my 900+ Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator community to never go there as well. Moral of the story, do your research and don't trust the dealership.

Fred advised vehicle would have to be driven to lessen fuel to complete repair (as opposed to siphoning existing fuel and replacing it). Then suggested he would have mechanics drive fuel down. As of following Wednesday, nothing had been done at all and they failed to even call. I had to call and then he insisted that I pick it up to drive down the fuel level before he could perform the recall that could repair fuel problem. Took the vehicle back on Monday. As of Thursday (today) still "haven't gotten to it." I sent an email previous Saturday asking for rental car and Fred admitted he received it and did not read it. I have been without my car for over a week collectively and the service is unacceptable. Fred is a salesman. He is great with pleasantries, smiles and suggestions for one to spend more money. Fred is not a serviceman. He does not follow through, act proactively, return calls as promised, under-promise, over-deliver, go the extra mile, exceed expectations, or show his true loyalty to the customer. What is paramount is not making the sale, no, the true top is customer retention. Nissan of Lithia Springs Service should focus on keeping the trust of customers for the life of their car and free water is not it. I would feel great if a dealership inspired by truth and safety would tell me "Sir, your car's in great shape" and call me with updates before I have to call them begging for an update.

During my initial visit, Travis in finance attempted to add a $4,000 warranty to my deal without my clear consent. The warranty was presented as though it were included, allegedly because the bank did not offer the originally discussed loan term. I was not made aware of this additional charge until I was already signing documents. When I questioned the increased amount and asked for clarification, Travis was unable to give a clear or honest explanation. I immediately walked out. The following day, the salesman contacted me and stated the deal could still be done for $18,000 without the warranty. I returned only because my daughter really wanted the vehicle and we were exhausted from car shopping. I had also purchased from this dealership before without issues. Unfortunately, the experience worsened. The next finance representative, Byron Fullove, was extremely rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. He repeatedly exclaimed "Jesus Christ" during our interaction, even after I expressed that I found it offensive and unprofessional. This behavior continued even as I was leaving his office, which can be heard clearly in a video I will be posting. Additionally, Byron attempted to have me sign documents with an incorrect address. I refused to sign anything with inaccurate information, which led to further hostility instead of a professional correction. The manager, Jamal Abdalrazaq, was aware of these issues but offered no apology, concern, or attempt to resolve the situation. Overall, this dealership demonstrated dishonest sales tactics, poor communication, and a serious lack of professionalism, particularly within the finance department. I strongly recommend that customers carefully review every document and be cautious of add-ons that are not clearly disclosed. Personally, I will not return and encourage others to take their business elsewhere. Here is a link to the YouTube video Of my experience at the end of the video you can still hear Byron taunting me as I left his office and saying Jesus Christ! Just very rude and Unprofessional. While waiting for approval from Kia Corp to approve the engine replacement, the service advisor recommended that I replace the hoses and belts at a cost of roughly $800 and if I didn't do it, the new warranty on the new engine would be voided. I asked if I had the service done with my mechanic if that would be acceptable as the price was quite high. She told me that wouldn't work, but knocked $100 off the cost. I approved it and they performed the work. After paying the bill, I saw that they charged $399.98 for the labor. Knowing that the only extra work that would need to take place is to remove two old hoses from one end (either from the car itself if they were still connected after the engine removal, or from the old engine, which would not make sense to me). The belt would have had to have been attached, regardless if a new belt or old belt was used. So, I just paid $399.98 to remove 2 hoses and attach 2 new hoses. My mechanic said that process since the engine was already removed, would take less than an hour. Gemini AI said 15-30 minutes. I drove to Calavan Kia to get some understanding on why I was charged for 2 hours worth of work on my invoice when the actual time should have been less than an hour. I spoke with Bo, the Service Manager, he began stating that this was from the All Data system, and that's just what they charge. I told him that regardless of what the system said, that I should be charged for the actual amount of time worked. I did not convince him. I told him that I would find some other form of remedy, either through Kia Corp, the news, or my attorney. He said fine, and because I said the word "attorney," I was now added to their "Do Not Service" list. No problem, I will not be back.

Once I arrived, I spent over an hour filling out the necessary paperwork, just to be given the keys to a DIRTY VEHICLE!! It was as if they had the car had been dropped off from the previous owner the same fucking day, and hadn't been touched again until they were handing me the keys I couldn't even enjoy the moment of having a new car. When I brought this up to the employees that handed me the keys, they shrugged shoulders and informed me that the person in charge of cleaning/detailing the vehicle wasn't there, and that the lesser employee who half-ass "cleaned" my car wasn't already gone for the day.
