The negative 655.00 SCE has a return policy on the electricity at .02 cents a kilowatt. I received back about 50.00 from SCE for this large credit. That was disappointing, I had preferred to leave balance on SCE. Even if this balance is left on the SCE statement you will get paid out at a low rate. Real bummer. Was hoping to keep my negative balance going. It resets after a year and you either owe at the high kilowatt rates or you get paid a couple cents on the kilowatt.

I began paying it off in increments hoping that my past history showed that I was reliable and committed. I texted to ask if they had any payment plans or reduction for the missed appointment. No answer. Fast forward, and I get another bill with a late fee. I called and asked for a payment plan or a small reduction since I still had electrical issues. I was told they did not texted regarding billing and there was no payment plan nor reduction. The reason was because they did not receive the text to reschedule and their person drove all the way out. Gas prices are high, someone in the community didn't pay their whole bill and I was directed to Hands in the Community. In order to pay without the late fee, I had to pay all up in front which led me in a financial bind. I am disappointed and let down since I thought I built a customer relationship showing my commitment in paying and was treated as a fraud. I am currently looking into Hands in the Community and other companies and local community family-owned assistance and hopefully start a trusted relationship.
