We were very happy with the service and grateful that our problem was resolved so economically. We would definitely use them again. read more

I was having issues with my electrical panel causing the power to flicker and go off and on around my house. Went out to check the breaker panel and could hear crackling. Very scary sound. The breaker switches weren't shutting off like they were supposed to and I was really concerned about the possibility of an electrical fire. O'Brien sent someone out within a couple of hours. Uriah got the problem fixed and stuck around for a little bit to make sure there were no more problems with the breaker. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will call them again the next time I need electrical work done. read more

My apologies if I misspell U Brian's name but he was awesome. He is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He provided excellent service and quality work. Not only did he fix my outlets and my electric problem but left me helpful tips. One of a kind valuable gem. Highly recommend their service. Will be utilizing their service again for future electrical work. I would give a 10 star if 10 was an option. read more

Great experience recently with this company. The technician that came out originally noted that veep panel that we had wasn't compatible with the breakers that he had on hand. He called his supervisor immediately and they came up with a plan to come back two days later. They came back, installed my Tesla wall connector, and everything works great. Very friendly and a great value compared to other quotes I received. read more

Called to ask about having a 240v outlet installed. They were able to get me in the same week without any issues. They were also able to service my home without me needing to be present due to work. Very happy with the installation and price of install. read more

Very sincere, Kyle genuinely wants to help fix your problem. Fast response time too. Recommend.

Had breakers in my house constantly tripping. Called 2 electricians before Kyle and both ghosted me. The original electrician who installed the brand new system a few years ago said he doesn't warranty the work for more than a year. Kyle showed up with a couple of days and fixed my problem quickly. It's been a week now and my breakers work great. read more

Called them Friday morning and made an appointment for the following Monday at 9am. Respectful young man showed up about 20 minutes early, identified the problem, fixed it, and left in about 45 minutes! We will definitely be using this company again!!! read more

We wanted to replace our ancient 1980's era stove top, but all of the power was run through the hood so we needed upgraded wiring in two places. Lowe's installation techs wouldn't do it, and other electricians wouldn't even answer our calls. Kyle was friendly and prompt- he got us an appointment in 3 business days, and sent Oscar out to revamp our stove area. In less than 2 hours, Oscar had removed our old range and hood and installed new wiring. Not only was Oscar efficient, he was also extremely friendly and left a CLEAN space when he was done (this hasn't been the case in past experiences with other electricians). Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality of work. We highly recommend this team. read more

Uriah showed up on time, easily the best electrician in Kings county. Swapped out the breaker and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Will only being going through O'brien from now on. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 8am. Got a call asking if they could reschedule to 3pm, I said ok. Then the day they were supposed to be here they called again and said they can't come until 5pm. Ok. That's fine. But then at 4:45 they call to tell me they had a cancelation and could come "early". He said he's about 45 minutes to an hour away. I said to cancel it completely. Three times I accomodated them and on the 4th I refused to accommodate any longer. If you can't manage your schedule then I don't need you. Look elsewhere. Your time is not nearly as important as theirs. read more

Oscar came out today to help with a shortage we were experiencing on several of our outlets. He was extremely professional, kind and quickly fixed the problem! We will definitely be using them again for any electrical issues in the future. read more

We're so happy with the service we received from O'Brien Electric! We're so grateful that Kyle was able to come out within a couple of hours from our call as my husband had to turn off our breaker due to it smoking, so we had no electricity in this heat! Not only was Kyle kind, friendly, and courteous, he was able to take care of our problem and install some outlets for us all for a very reasonable price. read more

Kyle was professional and respectful. The ballast for one of my lights had failed and Kyle replaced it with a LED one. Highly recommend.

Good communication. O'Brien Electric arrived on time and was very professional. I am happy with the work and would hire again.

Highly recommend, Kyle from O'Brien Electric for installing NEMA 14-50 outlets for EV charge. He came with all the necessary supplies and installed it on the spot. Very efficient, hassle free, and he gave us honest price. He said your unit is ready to install EV charge outlet and he charged us less than quoted price. If you are searching for electrician to install EV charging outlet, call O'Brien Electric, Kyle. read more

This company is top rate. Kyle was true to his word and true to the price quoted. I was very happy that I chose them. Very polite and respectful. Would definitely recommend. read more

Should be less than 1 star...especially now that I read Kyle O'Brien's response. Prior to responding to a negative review, it might be a good idea for you to check with your office staff (perhaps, wife) to get the real story. She quoted me half the original price to wire new yard lights. I went with a landscaping contractor to redo the job. He found that the lights were wired by cutting corners and, consequently, water was seeping into the wiring and shorting out the lights. So...Kyle...it appears that the responsibility does lie with you as the owner of this company. read more

Oscar did an outstanding job upgrading my house panel, and it passed inspection without any issue. PG&E on the other hand was not as efficient. You have to get the electric permit yourself, but the cost saving and quality O'Brien Electric provided was well worth it. read more

Kyle is a hardworking small businessman. He arrived and stayed 7 hours (!!) to finish a number of small jobs around our house. Will reach out again. Thank you Kyle! read more

Kyle came with a collegue to do an estimate on installing 12 recessed lights in my kitchen and living room. After they gave me the estimate (which was very generous for the amount of work they did), I asked if he could take a look at my garbage disposal since it was acting up. He gave me a quote of $75 to fix since he was already there. Before I could write up the check he noticed that the cord was plugged into the wrong outlet causing it to trip. He told me there would be NO charge! That's where they had me sold, he basically fixed my problem for free. They came back a couple of weeks later and completed the job. They are honest, hard working and genuinley nice people. Would recommened to family and friends. And definately would use them again. Much thanks read more

Great service. Kyle took the time to trouble shoot, explain his findings in a way I could understand and then took the time to fix everything correctly. Will definitely use this business again! read more

O'Brien came out quickly and replace light switches with dinner switches. Our house is older so some items were tricky. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently. His prices were fair and he guarantees his work. read more

I liked the professional work done Oscar Lopez at our home. It looks so nice. Thanks Oscar!!

I can't say enough good things about this company . First and foremost , Kyle responded to me with enthusiasm and professionalism. My home sustained damage and I have reluctantly entered the world of no show tradesman , sky rocket high estimates , and arrogant know it alls that don't give a damn if they gain your business or not . example : well we charge 150.00 trip charge , then we "diagnose" the problem and " depending on how long it takes " we can't tell you how much that will be , no not even a ballpark , gotta see it , gotta charge you for seeing it .. Kudos to all the girls out there that can install your own lighting fixtures , change out switches , etc.. I'm not one of them .. I must depend on honesty and character , good work at a reasonable and fair cost . Kyle and his team can provide all of this . I feel very fortunate to have found an electrician that understands how important it is to the homeowner to feel they are dealing with a trustworthy business who also is capable of providing outstanding work . That is a rare combination . I highly recommend O Brien Electric for all your electrical needs . read more

The Obrien Electric bailed me out of a large time crunch. My contractor called and had an emergency and was not able to fill the tight schedule. Called Obrien and talked to John on the phone their service lead Oscar called in less than two hours, verified the scope of job and said he would be that at 7am next morning. Pulled cable from the panel, replaced outlets and can lights. Cleaned up after. Great job. Pricing I felt was fair for the degree of difficulty. Would definitely call again with electrician needs read more

Kyle seemed qualified after showing up over an hour late to give me a quote on 2 jobs. I accepted his quote and the second job and we scheduled it for the next Sunday. When that Sunday rolled around he rescheduled on me to the following Saturday. When that Friday came he rescheduled with me for Sunday. At this point I was not happy being rescheduled 3 times but he did give me a good quote. Guess what happened Sunday morning? Yup, he was supposed to be there at ten and then called me and said he was finishing a job and he might be at my place anywhere from 11-12:30. I said no thank you and Kyle had no hesitation in saying ok, sorry about that. So, if you want someone who keeps a scheduled time/appointment do not go with Kyle. read more

No doubt the most hard working, dedicated to his craft, person I've ever hired for a job! I got quotes from 3 electricians prior to meeting him. They were super expensive and not motivated. You can instantly tell Kyle loves his job and stands by his work! He went above and beyond what he was paid to do! Wish I could give him more then 5 stars!!! read more
