Cal-State Site Services - The fence at the baseball field - Fences & Gates Near Me

We needed a temporary fence for a party and Cal-State Site Services went above and beyond. My wife can't stop raving how easy, efficient and amazing the customer service was from beginning to end. Chelsea provided excellent customer service and wonderful communication of when the fence would be delivered, setup and broken down/picked up. Robert was Top-Notch with getting everything arranged and setup before & after the event. Even at our party, most attendees kept complimenting how amazing the fence looked & who we used. We would enthusiastically recommend Cal-State Site Services to anyone and everyone needing temporary fencing. Thank you for providing top-notch customer service and providing excellent communication. Looking forward to using their services once again. Exceptional all around! read more

My recommendation is you run as fast as you can from this company! I have been a monthly customer for years. I should have left a long time ago but I kept thinking it would get better. It hasn't. Their staff is rude and accusatory when I call with issues. Once I called to report the potty wasn't cleaned on Monday as planned. Staff argued saying "yes it was" - ummm, I have cameras and I have eyes to look in it - no it wasn't. Another time I called to ask to skip our cleaning that week and got yelled at for not giving enough notice. Another time the unit was leaking water and they came and switched it out. But then charged my credit card for delivery of the replacement! What? I argued and argued and still haven't received a refund for that. I could keep going with more examples. Save yourself a headache and find another potty provider! read more

Can't say enough how disappointing it has been to work with this company. We were quoted the correct drop off and pick up dates at the very beginning of this process. Then we go through this archaic set up only to have our dates changed. We host several events in the area and will be looking for these services multiple times each year....just not with Cal State Site Services At one point I came to yelp to even see if they were a legitimate business it was so bad! read more

I've been using Cal State site services for over 7 years! Daniel Sanchez and staff have shown great professionalism in all of the jobs in which we have contracted them!! They are always punctual and stick to their schedule and their prices have always been competitive.. read more

I typically dislike giving bad reviews because I know how reviews affect businesses, but this is a special case that I feel like I must warn others. We hired them to install a temporary fence for us. After the fence was installed we noticed the fence intruding 4' into the neighbor's property. We asked the installer to correct the problem and he said that we did not have smaller panels to terminate at the property line. He said to call the office and request to replace the 8' panel with a 4' panel. When we called the office we were told to speak with Desiree who initially had taken the order. Since she was gone for the day, they took a message for her to call back. After several days of telephone tags finally got her on the phone. She wants to charge a fee equal to almost 20% of the total contract to fix their mistake. Ridiculous! After expressing to Desiree how crazy it is for them to charge us for them to fix their own mistake she said had to talk to her boss, Daniel. By the time Daniel got back to us he claims that we should have reported it right away (which had) and now WE must pay for them to come out to fix the mistake that they made. I understand people make mistakes and that's not a big deal, but to not fix your mistake without charging someone again is simply the work of a crook. I highly recommend you use pretty much any other company you can find, even if they can't price match remember that if they mess up you'll have to double pay. I never encourage anyone to give money to people that steal, that are not fair and have poor customer service instead of being grateful for business. I also encourage anyone reading my review to take a look at my other reviews and you'll see how rarely I ever give a one star. Hope this helps! read more

I don't normally write reviews but my experience was so so terrible . I called to inquire about which happened to be the worst customer service I've ever received. Called looking to place an order and spoke with Kayla. She told me that there was nothing available for the next 7 months. She also quoted me $350 dollars more? I could hear Netflix in the background of the call and she was rushing me off the call. I had more questions but she was hesitant to answer. Disappointing to say the least.. I worked with this company before and was more pleasant/customer friendly before. Guess it depends on who helps you... Not working with them again. read more

After reviewing my billing for the last year, I cannot understand how they can squeeze an extra month billing out of a 12 month cycle. I am paying for 13 months service because of their billing. Any other customers have this issue? Other service companies actually bill the first of the month. So what is up with this? read more

This company helped me set up a temporary chain link fence in my backyard. Their service is great; I got a quote via email and the fences were put up in two days. They charged a fraction of the cost of other fencing solutions (such as vinyl and wood fences). Works great for my use case. read more

I made two very irresponsible and rude staffs. Their ignorance made me fall on my face and get injured and they didn't even apologize for it. They can be a big liability for you, watch out! read more

Daniel took care with our last minute request. Great commute with follow up calls to confirm order and delivery.

Picked up fencing from site, and claimed later that panels and clamps were missing. All fencing was within a secured truck yard, and they never verified the shortage with anyone on site before they left. Sent invoice later for alleged missing items. Rent at your own risk!! read more

I needed a last minute fencing and portable toilets for an event I was having at my house. The event was at 5pm that day (Saturday) I made the call to cal state at 12pm the same day and by 3pm the fencing and toilets were delivered to my place. The crew made sure everything was secured and ready to use. I highly recommend this company. Professional, fast and affordable!!! read more

Best team ever! They are always very helpful and deliver on time or try to rush if they can. Had a toilet tip over and they were there within the hour absolutely amazing! Also any time I had a question about my bill or anything related to accounting it was resolved that day. Cant speak for all the employees but Ivonne, Elva, Laura, Dan and Daniel, Desiree and Candy have always been a great help! I 100% recommend their services. read more

When I first called, I spoke to a woman (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who was so sweet and helpful but I had to call back to get more information for them. 2nd time I called, Daniel answered. Let me tell you! He was fast, to the point, and super helpful! He even helped me squeeze in a slot super quick! Next day, they put the fence up. The fencing guy and then Daniel called me back to give me an update. It's the little things that I appreciate. It shows that they care about their customers. Thank you so much! read more

Our office was undergoing a major plumbing restoration, so we reached out to Cal State for a restroom trailer for our employees and am extremely pleased we did so. They delivered the very next morning and their attention to cleanliness, regular servicing, sanitation and customer service is above all competitors. Lori in Accounting was very understanding of our circumstances and worked with us on our invoice terms. Highly recommend Cal State Site Services for rentals. read more

The service to the site is excellent. The only problem is that the accounts payable end of the business is like the 3 stooges. They cannot seem to get it together, and invariably call and hassle me monthly. I guess for a one time transaction they are fine, but if you are considering using them on a recurring basis you might want to look elsewhere. Just a thought. read more

Cannot say enough about this company! Not only is the staff extremely helpful but their products are always clean and serviced. I spoke with Lori who was so kind in explaining my invoice. Highly recommend!! read more

The service was great! We rented the portable potty last minute for a baby shower and it arrived a day earlier than expected. Everything went smoothly. We would definitely use them again. read more

I can't say enough about this company. NOT only were their portables clean at the Boots and Brews venue. They are respectable and trustworthy folks. I lost my phone and they went above and beyond to find me and make sure I got it back. THANK YOU! GOOD KARMA AWAITS YOU! read more

Kelly and his crew are awesome. They totally rock. They go above and beyond the call of duty. The porta potties are always maintained. If there is a problem all you need to do is give them a call and it is taken care of. read more

Best company for barricades and bathroom units. Best service! Big thank you for sponsoring the Bladingcup.com!!

Look no further, Kelly and his crew are the best in town. I've worked with good vendors, but Kelly is GREAT. A+ service, a personal touch, crew with huge hearts, and best prices in town. I can not say enough good things about this company and the products and services they provide. Fencing, portable toilets and handwash, 3-sink EHD setup with water tanks, and a lot more. read more

I would absolutely recommend Cal State Site Services for restroom rentals; they provided luxury restrooms for our Film Production. The cast and crew were very satisfied by the quality and cleanliness of the toilets that were towed onto the location. The office staff is very competent and made the whole process easy. As a Film Producer, I very much appreciated the simplicity in providing comfortable restrooms for my cast and crew. read more

Awesome company I love it great customer service fencing vip trailers and hotsinks hand wash as well as portable toilets much more

I use to think highly of this company until I had to deal with their sales rep Nikki. All I can say is RUDE! Not only is is rude but condescending. I will no longer be using this company for any of my upcoming job sites. read more

Customer Service is argumentative, while they did work with me 50% with my discrepancy on invoicing (which is appreciated) they forget customer retention values. I'll be taking my business elsewhere on the premises of not having to deal with confrontational business "professionals" read more

Eric & Rick are the best guys to work with on any project, never is anything too big or too small to have their full attention to details. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these guys, the crews are always friendly and accommodating! I work for a General Contractor/Construction Management Firm in Ontario and we've been doing business with Cal-State for at least 12 years. They will go anywhere we need them to and as quickly as we need. Pricing is always very reasonable and if there's a question on invoicing they are all very easy to talk to. I honestly couldn't recommend a better bunch of guys to work with in a very tough and competitive business. If you need Fencing/Barricades and/or Portable Toilets do yourself a favor and call them, they'll treat you right. read more
