It is rare to find a contractor who does excellent work, charges a fair price, communicates well…read moreand actually does what they say they are going to do. EnviroTek exceeded my expectations in every way. A deck is a major expense and there are a lot of pieces involved -- design, materials, engineering, permits, inspections and construction. Before choosing EnviroTek, I got three bids. Some of the other proposals were extremely expensive, and it wasn't always clear who would actually be doing the work or how much would be subcontracted. EnviroTek was different from the beginning. Sammy, the proprietor, was straightforward, responsive, organized and very easy to work with. He never pressured me or tried to upsell me. His proposal was clear, his pricing was reasonable, and I always knew what I was paying for. There were no unpleasant surprises with the cost and Sammy was always upfront whenever a decision needed to be made. Sammy uses his own crew and has worked with them for years. They showed up every day, worked incredibly hard and clearly took pride in doing the job well. Even my neighbors commented on how impressed they were with them and how consistently they worked. My home is in an HOA, so I couldn't get too creative with the design and everything had to fit the existing architectural style. Even with those limitations, the finished decks and walkway came out beautifully and I am extremely happy with the result. The work was done cleanly and properly and we passed every inspection without any problems.  I was away for a good part of the construction, which could easily have made a project like this stressful, but it wasn't. Sammy kept me updated, regularly sent photos and let me know how things were progressing. I never had to chase anyone down or wonder what was going on. I felt completely comfortable having the work continue while I was away because I knew they cared about my house and were going to do things the right way. That is not something I take for granted with a contractor. Overall, EnviroTek went far beyond what I expected. They turned a stressful situation into a manageable and successful project. They were dependable, responsive, trustworthy and genuinely cared about getting things right and keeping the site clean during construction. I really cannot say enough good things about EnviroTek. This was one of the best referrals I have ever received, and I would recommend them without hesitation. If you are considering building or replacing a deck, I would absolutely call Sammy before making a decision. My only regret is that Sammy doesn't do every kind of construction and home repair, because I would happily hire him for everything in my house. Truly an outstanding company and an outstanding team. Five stars is not enough.

I had an estimate that night. I wanted to compare to the quote from another company. Sammy was way more reasonable and I knew the quality I would get. Manuel arrived promptly Friday morning. A site visit was done by John, as a quality check, and he was great. I will continue to use EnviroTek for my decks and fences. Quality. Care. Value.

From the beginning, Giovanni was very good about communicating the process he recommended based on the state of our siding and was responsive through the end of the project. Their team sanded and stained all of the cedar at a fair price. And unlike other companies, they didn't pressure me to get the cedar restained more frequently than needed. If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to ask the staff to be careful around my plants, but honestly I would rate the job 9.9/10. When the color didn't turn out how I expected, the owner wrote me a long explanation for why he used a particular stain and the issues with my old stain. I really appreciated the explanation and that his team did a more labor intensive process (sanding all of the cedar siding) than other quotes I received. Several months later, they also went out of their way to get back to me on the stain they used because I want to stain my gates the same color. When the time comes again to restain our cedar, I'll definitely be giving Giovanni and Richard a call. Their customer service is top notch!

We had all of those installed and stained about a decade ago and they were very weather-worn. The deck surface was very worn and in need of a refinishing and significant cleanup, and everything needed cleaning and re-staining (and we needed a few new boards on the deck which one of our dogs had chewed on as a puppy). I worked with Richard out at South Bay Wood Restoration and he was very kind and professional throughout. They ended up making a very competitive quote for us and were already very highly rated, so we selected them. His workers were very good. Strong communicators, very friendly, and easy to work with, and they did nice, neat work. At the end of it all, Richard wasn't satisfied that we had gotten quite dark enough on an accent stain for our pergola, and he sent his guys out at no charge to do another coat. That was above and beyond. Enjoyed working with him and his crew and we will look to work with him again in the future if we need additional cleanups or re-stains. Highly recommended!

Mike and his crew demolished our old 570 sq. ft. deck and stairs, built a new pressure-treated frame, and installed Eva-Last Infinity composite decking. They also assembled our 12' x 24' aluminum pergola and anchored it on six posts. The backyard looks completely different now, and we're using it far more than before. Their lead carpenter, Rashid, knows deck building inside and out and was meticulous about every part of the build. It was clear he cared about getting the details right, and it shows in the finished deck. Mike was easy to reach and kept us informed. We had a detailed proposal within a couple of days of the estimate, and the final price matched the quote, with no surprise charges. For the amount of work involved, the job was done quickly. We highly recommend MS Construction and Services to anyone planning a deck project.

Final results are beautiful, quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Very happy with all the work they did in the back of the house so we hired them to do additional work to the front of our house and replaced all wood with PVC product and all handrails and banisters with metal. They look absolutely gorgeous. I found their communication software very user friendly. Payment process was disclaimed at front based on milestones. Of course there's always glitches in the process and it wouldn't be fair to leave a review without mentioning them. 1- working to get architecture and engineering completed took a few months. 2- a significant surprising unsightly design change was not disclosed. There were additional costs to cover it up. 3- designer renderings showed all wood posts and joist in black paint but this was not included in the original cost, this was another significant cost increase. 4- all decks were to have lights on all railings, that was on the original contract. However, we were told later that the cost of an electrician was not included in our contract. This was yet another cost surprise. Overall, I am very pleased with everything as they addressed every single item that needed to be addressed and it looks beautiful. I will definitely hire them again, but just make sure to ask all posible questions no matter how silly to ensure that everything is included in that upfront quote and there are no surprises.
