Milkbox delivers in every way that is important to those that value quality--a byproduct of sustainably sourced ingredients, hard working humans who respect the trade and innovative products only real artisans can create. My only complaint is they do sell out of certain products, just get there early. For certain products, I asked to notice when they hit the shelves and always get what I want. We came in to find about half of the pastries over baked or burnt. We ordered a brioche and a loaf of sourdough. The brioche was perfect and delicious, but the sourdough was very underproofed- dense and extremely gummy, which was so disappointing, especially considering the $9 price tag. The ones I snagged all tasted so delicious and decadent, and I felt like I was able to properly savor them before they melted, which was absolutely wonderful! Given that it was our first time in the shop, the person serving us was so helpful too! She was able to help us find the perfect size box, answer all of our questions, and give great recommendations. What more could you ask for! I would highly recommend getting some goodies from here if you're in the mood for chocolate or need a fun and gorgeous gift idea!
