I needed two custom cakes for my daughters' birthday. Using photos as inspiration I worked with the Cake Bash team using their online system to download images and describe what I wanted. It was easy and efficient and the cakes turned out so beautifully! And delicious! Highly recommend!

Although I have lived near Cake Bash for years, I only recently tried them out to see if they might be a good choice for our wedding cake. We bought a couple cupcakes and we were BLOWN AWAY. Never had such a moist spongy cupcake in the Valley. We ran our design by them and they said they could do it. The finished project came out incredible looking and served everyone at the event and then some. Our guests were raving about the cake, asking where we got it, getting the name of the place. People were having two or three slices each. We couldn't have been happier with our choice and working with Cake Bash was so easy and professional.

The establishment is absolutely amazing. Everyone here is super patient and extremely talented. The owner is the most sweetest person , I'm so blessed that she was able to have this vision come true for the 2nd time in a row. The cake it's self was creamy and soft, the cake didn't last. Thank you to everyone from cake bash studio for making this possible. We'll be back pretty soon

So grateful I found Cake Bash!! The team made a last minute mermaid cake for my niece's fourth bday. It was such a hit... delicious, beautiful, exactly what she dreamed for! Everyone was also so kind at each step, and it was ready hours before I needed it. Will definitely order from here again :)

I had a very disappointing experience with Cake Bash recently. I had booked a tasting over the phone and called twice to confirm the appointment. On the day of the tasting, I arrived with the birthday girl, excited to try their cakes. However, the visit started off poorly. The manager of the smoke shop next door came out and circled my car, demanding that I leave or I would be towed. Despite the limited parking spaces, I moved my car and went back into Cake Bash for our tasting. Upon entering, we were asked to sign in with our email, and the staff informed us about the prices, which start at $130 for a cake. I was fine with the pricing and ready to proceed. However, what happened next was truly shocking. The woman at the counter told us that if we wanted to taste anything, we would have to purchase it and eat it at home. I was taken aback by this policy. I had clearly communicated that we were coming in for a tasting, and I did not expect to have to explain what a tasting entails to the owner of the shop. This lack of clear communication and poor customer service left a bad impression. I had anticipated a professional and welcoming experience, especially after confirming our appointment twice. Instead, we were met with confusion and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend Cake Bash based on this experience. It was very disappointing and not at all what I expected from a professional cake shop. Following up on the reply below from the owner. IT WAS NOT clearly communicated that you had to buy cakes. Diana was NOT informed clearly. Please OWN up to your miscommunications.

Nice find in my area! I called within a short notice for a dozen cake pops and my needs were met...staff was nice and everything was smooth. Pops were delicious and looked amazing with the drizzle. First time going with a vanilla flavor. The invoice was sent professionally as well. Only thing I'd say is that I would have liked them to be a bit larger for the price and there to be no tax added. But again convenient, easy and delicious!

Amazing! Cake was just right. The taste wasn't too sweet and the chocolates on the cake were delicious. They did a fabulous job getting the design I asked and I loved how they wrote on the plate happy birthday and not the cake. Great way in keeping the cake design intact.

Cake Bash made a teddy bear smash cake for our daughter's first birthday in 2020. It was exactly what we wanted and she loved it!! For her second birthday, Miredys is making her a Bluey cake!!

Contacted them regarding a "Mary Jane" cake I wanted made for my bf for his birthday since he's an avid enjoyer of cannabis. The cake came out exactly how I wanted, how I envisioned it, & the taste was AMAZING! They were very communicative and got back to me always in a timely manner. Will be using them again!

The custom cake I received was not only faithful to the image I had shared, but was even more beautiful. There was clear artistic talent. And tasty! Great communication, and the cake was ready exactly when promised. Everything I could have wanted!

I was looking for a last minute baker for my daughters 2nd birthday. Although they were available to do the design I chose they did not execute it properly. It was a zoo theme and charging $25 per zoo animal made of fondant is kind of ridiculous. That was going to add an additional $100 to my order which was already $7 per slice. I didn't mind paying the $150 if the cake didn't taste like a block of sugar. The frosting inside was like a thick butter and more than the actual sponge portion of the cake. Overall, I would not use them again. Not sure what the 5 stars all around is all about. read more

Cakebash was professional from start to finish. The cake I requested looked and tasted amazing. Only one priblem they forgot to I clude my sparking candles that I had prepurchased. They refunded me without incident but it was my retirement which only will haplen once in my life and I wanted those sparking candles. Absolute perfection! My daughter's birthday was yesterday, and I ordered Minecraft theme cake. Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! Please do not use this bakery for a custom cake for a loved one. They are poor communicators, rude and unkind and tried to hold me hostage for an extra $50 dollars in order to complete an order I had placed days before, with an event taking place tomorrow. This is after charging us $184 dollars, invoicing me and accepting payment, and refusing to make the cake--all less than 3 hours before the cake was supposed to be delivered. She says she is not sure how to refund me. I have never met anyone more callous about failing to deliver something important to a family event, or lacking in self-awareness about their own poor communication capabilities. I spoke with Carla and was stunned at her unprofessionalism and rudeness and then asked to speak with the owner--it's her! Use this bakery at your peril. read more

I wen to few places to try to order a custom cake and none were available on such a short notice. Karla was super friendly and said no problem. I sent her a picture of the cake and let me tell you they made is exactly and even more perfect. The cake was a highlight of everybody's night and tastes pretty good too. The do not have a storefront yet but are really fast in answering emails or calls. Recommend anyone who is looking for a professional studio to make the cake of their dreams! read more

My son and I stopped by Cake Bash Studio on Valentine's Day to pick up a sweet treat. All the desserts looked delicious so it was hard to decide what to get. We walked out of there with an Oreo cupcake, marble cupcake with strawberry filling, chocolate covered strawberries and a flancocho. The chocolate covered strawberries were sweet and the chocolate was delicious. Next we tried the Oreo cupcake....OMGEE best cupcake I've ever had in my life (sorry mom I still love your cupcakes). The cupcake was soft, moist and the frosting was so yummy! Today we tried the flancocho it seemed to have 3 layers( caramel, cake and flan) it was perfection. Can't wait to return to cake bash studio! read more

Once I realized they offered cake decorating classes, I decided to sign up. I took the basic decorating classes and really enjoyed them. Karla is super knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I don't know what are all these good reviews about, because I didn't like the cake at all. The reviews fooled me. Too o overpriced for the low quality. The look was very beautiful but the taste a was total failure. To be fair, I gave them a short notice. However, whatever they told me they were able to do, they didn't even do the minimum of it, especially the taste. The cake was terribly sweet, though I specifically asked for not very sweet cake. Not only me, many people noticed it. I asked for a lighter cream, the person who called me back, told that they can only make butter cream for that cake, but it will be light. Not at all. It was too sweet, tio much and too heavy. Sponge cake to me is a sponge cake. Even I, my sister, my close female relatives being non professionals, make much better sponge cakes, that taste much much better and are much lighter than this. Not only the cream, the cake itself was too dry, overcooked, with dark brown edges, too heavy and too sweet. I don't know why they refused to put berries in between layers, as I asked. It could beat the sweetness and heaviness of cake. Lots of people didn't finish their portions, some just removed the cream, that was too much and tasted like pure butter with too much sugar, nothing more. I regret that didn't listen to my husband and didn't order from Armenian bakeries that do much much better job. Even Porto's famous bakery does thousand times better job with cakes, only I wasn't sure if they make special designs. I had little time left to call to different places and compare prices. I don't recommend them to anyone. There are plenty of better and cheaper places where you can order, just search more and don't pick the first place you see high ratings. In this case, ratings didn't help at all. Not to mention, that delivery fee is 50$ to deliver to a mile or two. read more

This little studio bakery is big on taste, style, variety of products & customer service! They make a pumpkin pecan pie bar that is just out of this world dangerously good. The doughy crust was perfect & the sweet gooey chunky pumpkin pecan topping is so tasty you can't put it down until it's all gone. I imagine it would be even more amazing warmed up & topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, OMG! They have a really well-designed website with all kinds of photos of chef / owner Karla & her crew's amazing designs & creations, & I was very impressed by their array of merchandise. As a cook with many culinary enthusiast friends, it gives me some great stocking stuffer & gift ideas (I got myself a pair of their fun bright red cherry dangle earrings pictured here). While I was there, it was also inspiring to see the talented team busy at work on an intricate cake design so attentive to detail and professional presentation. It was a real treat when chef Karla came out to say hi & chat a bit. I am a full supporter of our local Lake Balboa small business owners and this place has great potential but I was not impressed with their cupcakes. I went in to purchase some dessert for a dinner party and bought 2 dozen cupcakes from the display. They looked beautiful but the taste and flavor was not there. They did not taste fresh, were dense and dry. A big disappointment. read more

The absolute worst experience!!! Please save your time, money and energy. They don't listen, the cake is absolutely terrible and has a very wet consistency! Apparently they use "simple syrup " in their cake but someone has a heavy hand and and it's ABSOLUTELY disgusting! It was dripping with liquid!! We didn't finish a single slice of it. I cannot stress how nasty this cake is and when I called she seemed offended but that's their issue not mine. They don't listen or properly record decoration instructions either! I asked for a specific layering design and got a plain Vanilla "liquid" cake when I cut into it. I'd rather eat a Costco cake than ever give these people my money or a referral! The prices are not reflective of the quality or taste and I think they just make up prices honestly. $75 for a 10 inch cake with out the rainbow layers?! Yet she only wanted to refund me $10 for failing to make the cAke rainbow as instructed. Looking back I should've known their cake was going to be nasty by the mere fact that I purchased 2 of their cake pops and my kids wouldn't eat them. Hindsight is always 20/20. Never again with these amateurs. read more

Wow! I have tried 4 different bakeries in the valley and finally found what I've been dreaming of. Their cakes taste as delicious as they look. The service is also extraordinary. I was able to order through email which fits in well with my busy schedule. I got exactly what I wanted. I ordered a cake for my fourth anniversary and it turned out beautifully. The traditional gift for 4th anniversary is fruit/flowers and I like to get a cake to match the theme. I ordered the funfetti, because who doesn't love funfetti? It was so yummy. The buttercream is really smooth and the cake tastes great even three days later after being refrigerated. I highly recommend Cake Bash Studios. They even were able to deliver the cake to me at no extra charge. read more

I absolutely loved and adored the unicorn cake they made for my daughter's birthday! My daughter was ecstatic when she saw it. I can't have non-gluten free cakes so I can't be a judge of the taste or texture. However, everyone said they loved the cake, that it was not overwhelmingly sweet; they said it has wonderful dense texture. The owners were so helpful. I was indecisive, but they helped me decide. In the end, everything worked out 100%! read more

Established in 2015.

Cake Bash was first introduced as a YouTube channel. Through this platform We were able to test the market and grow our audience to 150k loyal subscribers. A year later we opened our brick and mortar. A joyful studio where we make cake dreams come true. We specialize in Custom Cakes with a fast turnaround. We bring culture & flavors to the forefront; Introducing our customers to my Caribbean flavors and offering a custom experience in a flash. In our efforts to take our customer’s experience to new heights we created the flash bash , a CIY model Which stands for customize it yourself. With this one if it’s kind model we we are revolutionizing the shoppers experience by providing a custom solution to our everyday celebrations; making the cake shopping experience as easy, accessible and personalized as ever. Meet the Business Owner: Miredys P.

My name is Miredys—half Dominican, half Puerto Rican, born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Some of my most defining years were spent in my family’s bakery, La Panadería del Pueblo. What felt like playful summers became the place where I witnessed my parents build a business from the ground up. That small bakery became my first classroom and creative foundation. Years later, I pursued music, a dream that shaped my discipline and self-expression. But I felt called to something more and stepped into entrepreneurship. Reflecting on my happiest memories—food, music, and celebration—I knew my next chapter had to bring those elements together. That’s how Cake Bash Studio was born. More than a business, it’s a space rooted in culture, joy, and connection. I’m honored to serve and build a community dedicated to creating sweet memories, one cake at a time.

I understand a bad day or a rude customer, but this didn't feel like that. The entire experience felt unwelcoming & unenjoyable. Love this place! I got them to do my sons's Mario Bros theme birthday party and they went above and beyond! From the custom cake to the entire dessert table. I came with the idea of what we wanted and they gave me more than I could imagine.They did chocolate remotes & mustaches, characters decorated cookies,cake bombs even something called tierritas to emulate the piranha plants of the game which people had to ask me if they were edible cause of how real they looked.The kids love it as well as the parents :) Everything was spot on, affordable, beautiful and simply delicious. I can't compliment enough the whole Cake Bash Studio team for their awesome work and service.I would for sure hire them again and will recommend them without thinking twice. This review was due aloooonngggg time ago, after years but I mean years of looking for a forever cake place I am happy I found them. They respond quickly, are kind, & honest! Which is the most important to me and besides that their cakes look and taste great. I been ordering from them since 2017. There store is a bit sneaky to find but once I knew where it was I was set. They even offer classes which is great. My favorite cake by far has to be my sisters Zelda themed cake ( its a video game), I don't know how to upload pictures yet on yelp, lol. I ordered a birthday cake and asked to have it look like a Dodger Hat. Wow! It was the most amazing design, looked like real stitching on the hat with the MLB logo on the back. Not only did the cake look great, it was moist and delicious inside. The pastry chef at Cake Bash is a real master, exceeding my expectations.
