Catfish, fried gator, red beans and rice, and Deep Fried Biscuit
    Eric F.

Probably the BEST fried gator I've ever had!! Better than NOLA...catfish was breaded beautifully and was delicious and comes with dirty rice frand fried biscuits

Didn't expect to be eating a lobster and shrimp roll in Montana, but here I am and it's delicious! I've eaten lobster rolls in Massachusetts, New York, and Maryland and this is every bit as good as the ones from near the coast right down to the split roll and the seasoning. Crispy fries and yummy dipping sauce as well. Dessert? The bread pudding, y'all! This place never disappoints with great food and friendly service. One of my favorite spots in Billings.

Shrimp and Grits & Crab Boil

Food was so good absolutely the best food I've had out west at a restaurant. The Shrimp & Grits and The Crab boil were excellent choices. The food was fresh and cooked to order made by scratch. The salad was beautiful. The people who served us were so accommodating and their suggestions were spot on. It is a cute little restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I would differently recommend eating there. Everything on the menu looked scrumptious I can't wait to try the cat fish. Everything is cooked to order.

    This is jambalaya?

This is their version of jambalaya. No holy trinity, 2 pieces of shrimp, dried out andouille sausage. Was not a huge fan. All the reviews were deceiving.

    Crawfish Ettoufee

I was headed home to Dallas, TX (from vacationing in Canada), when I saw this place during a gas stop. I spent the first 17 years of my life growing up in Lafayette, LA (AKA the heart of Cajun country), and the Louisiana boy in me had to stop here for a bite to eat. I went in with low expectations, because... Cajun food in Montana, say wuuuut? Besides, I had Cajun food just days prior in Banff, CA and was let down. But this place, Cajun Phatty's, is legit and the real deal. The gumbo and ettoufee are Cajun (and not Creole), which is the way it should be. You folk in Billings are lucky as hell to have, not only a Cajun restaurant, but a damn good one at that. I plan on going back to the area the next few years (Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff), and I hope Cajun Phatty's will be there with a cup of gumbo and plate of ettoufee waiting for me!!!

I asked for dine in but I wasn't white so they put it to go

If you want to be discriminated come to this place, as soon as the old lady host saw me come in she did a face like if she didn't like me going in , the place was empty yet she sat me all the way in the back near the storage room but not only that , I was planning on doing dine in and I told her yet she still packed my stuff to go

Great waitress and great breakfast. Plan on returning soon. We went as a group and service was fluid.

Fat Taco Food Truck to the rescue. What you won't do, is walk away from this one having to stop elsewhere to get more food. The portion size is generous and the food is good. I don't think it's good just because it gets me out of the house, either. It's all in the balance. The nachos, both with the pork and beef are filling and overloaded with toppings. Although the pork was slightly dry, the seasonings were still detectable. The shrimp tacos, with several decent size shrimp in each taco, also were done well. The shrimp were slightly overcooked; however, with the extra sauce and filling, it wasn't noticeable. It's tough getting everything exactly right when you can't eat it right away and that might well be why the meat on the nachos and the shrimp missed the mark. But on the tacos: They are hard to eat because the insides keep falling out -- they're that stuffed. Don't eat them in the car. The quesadillas? Oh wow. I can go on about these for a while, but just know that they will always be my go-to from this truck. Nice people, tasty food, consistently done. I look forward to trying them again when getting the food and driving back to the social distancing abode isn't a mandate.

There are plenty of tables, but no bar or patio dining options. The walls have some Thai decor, but the interior is fairly sparse and spacious The menu offers a variety of Thai classics. You can find all your noodle dishes, rice, curry's, typical appetizers, etc. they have Thai tea and a variety of drink options, but no coffee or alcohol options I tried their red curry, and it was tasty. I was a little surprised they didn't ask for a heat/spicy level, but it was still solid, but I would have liked more rice. The fried potstickers were tasty as well, but I would have preferred them to have not been fried The service was relatively quick. I did have to keep asking for a top off on water. Also, my appetizer plates weren't based prior to getting my main entree, so, they just sat awkwardly on the table for the remainder of the mean. It wasn't busy, and there was only one server... and I was the only patron over the 45+ minutes I was there. This also made the ambiance feel sort of sad and empty Some tips: Again, you can miss this spot if you're just walking by. Also, when you walk in there is a sign that says "wait to be seated," but I was the only one there except the server/hostess who was sitting literally 25 yards all the way in the back. It's like the hot stand, but it's in the back. It's a little strange As with all downtown Billings restaurants, parking isn't plentiful. You may have to do metered parking or find a spot in a nearby parking garage Cheers!!
