This is more so of Korean Asian crawfish over Cajun down south crawfish. I got the special 5 pounds of crawfish for $35 2 sausages for $4 2 corn 0.90 cent each and 4 potatoes for $.55 each. I requested to get spicy Cajun garlic butter. The crawfish wasn't really juicy. It's one of those places where they put sauce like on top and through the crawfish, but it definitely wasn't juicy as if they were soaked and I didn't really have juice in the container. It also had a sweet taste. I used to go there before Covid and it taste different now it's more sweet like a Vietnamese Korean Asian type of dish. read more

Unfortunately this place has had a change in ownership and the quality of its food has suffered. They now serve both frozen and fresh crawfish and has jacked the price up tremendously. Frozen crawfish is 5.99/lb, which was the previous price for FRESH crawfish && fresh crawfish is now 7.99/lb. The flavor is similar but a bit sweeter; additionally the quality of the crawfish itself is not in the same ballpark as before. Higher prices for lower quality foods?... I think I'll skip on that. Aside from the crawfish... I tried their seafood gumbo & I kid you not, it's gravy. It's rice, frozen crawfish/shrimp, & gravy water. Yuck! My boyfriend had the Poboy & he says it doesn't taste the same either. Bummer! I think the only thing that has remained constant is the fries... But it's not like it's a secret recipe right?.. Anyways, I found out that this place was taken over but the owners of Ha's Kitchen, which explains the drop in food quality. It's really a tragedy because after almost 2 years of satisfaction on every visit, now I'm on a new hunt for a crawfish spot on the north side of town. So this place is in a strip mall and when my honey suggested this place I was like really for date night. Don't let the size fool you. The staff is so nice and the place clean. NoW on to the food. The food is very good , especially the crawfish & fried rice. The crawfish even during the off season where they served is frozen but it's still very fresh & tasty. The fried rice is our favorite. My teenager likes to add extra crawfish & extra egg. Which I'm glad that is available when we order online. I don't really care for the wings. If you come here expecting Louisiana style crawfish, this is not the place! I tried this place because of the reviews, but was disappointed. Their crawfish lack flavor. You can tell it does not soak in spices. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I should've never had my hopes up. There were red flags: different spice levels and it comes with a container of butter and seasoning. I knew something wasn't right because I couldn't smell the loud crawfish boil aroma! Wow this place is a hidden gem! Looks small and off the beaten path from the outside (its in a shopping center), but the food is amazing! Shrimp and crawfish are stellar. As I was finishing up my food I happened to look up towards the counter to find the young girl and young man working there RECORDING ME AND LAUGHING AT ME. Omg. This may actually be the best crawfish I've ever had, and I think I've had all the legendary ones in Houston. Garlic butter, regular spicy. Yummy spiciness in each bite, but never overwhelming. The crawfish had a good taste but they were expensive (7.99 a pound). Some were small and that fishy taste but not all. Overall, they were good. I got the oysters as well and wasn't pleased. Taste nothing like back home, New Orleans. Want to try some of the fried seafood so I'll be back. Service is excellent. read more

This is the 4th crawfish place that I've visited so far this year. This place isn't by any means bad, but it's also not anything to jump around about. Another reason why I'm giving this a 3 instead of a 4 is because of the PRICE. 8 dollars a pound?!?! That is a bit overpriced in my opinion. Especially considering that I know a place (That one Place -Atascosita) that is 10x tastier than this and for only 6 dollars a pound. Overall crawfish flavor to me, is about a 7 out of 10. Crawfish still has somewhat of that fishy taste in it, which I don't like. Tbh I'd only come here for crawfish if I'm around this area and I have no other options, which is the case for this area. I will, however, say that the Cajun rice is extremely delicious, as well as the sausages and corn that they put in the crawfish. read more

We had the garlic butter spicy crawfish favorite & cajun medium crawfish favorite. They were great in size! The corn & potatoes were topped with some heat but obviously not tossed in the boil. Not what we're used to but it was good to cut down the heat a bit. I think next time we'll order cajun spicy & extra spicy (since I like mine hot) though. The garlic butter were sweet for some reason. Service was attentive & cheerful to all. Watch out for the prices! They aren't listed on the menu. They're posted on the back wall behind the register. $8.99/lb for crawfish! $11.99/lb for shrimp! We walked out spending $100 bucks & that includes a sprite & 2 beers. Overall, the size of the bugs & nice service was worth it...but I'd have to go back & try other things to determine if it's worth the price. read more

Yesterday we got 6lbs of crawfish for take out and it was cooked and ready for us super fast. The crawfish was amazing!!! Today we ate at the restaurant and we had wings and cheese fries. Hands down my favorite crawfish place! I look forward to going here every crawfish season. The crawfish is flavorful and I looove their butter that you can dip the crawfish in. I even use it for the fried rice. (Yes I'm a fatty.) Everything that I have tried here has been good: cheese fries, cajun fried rice, fish sauce wings, garlic butter wings, and baked mussels. Today was my first time here at Cajun crawfish. When I walked in I could smell the crawfish seasoning and since I love crawfish I was super excited. I got the four pounds with potato and sausage Cajun style with medium spice. It was perfect. Not too spicy but with just enough kick. The crawfish were a good size also, some of them were huge. I enjoyed the fact that they bring you all the butter you want and extra seasoning. I will be returning soon to try them smothered in garlic which is supposedly amazing also! read more

I ended up getting some rice, sausage and shrimp to go. The rice was mediocre, it didn't really have much flavor to it at all but it was eatable for sure. The shrimp was juicy and somewhat spicy and I really enjoyed it for the most part. The sausage was just as good as any sausage you would get at a crawfish boil.
